So pleased with Wake Forest jewelers! Not only are they extremely friendly but very professional as well. After losing almost 80 lbs. my wedding set didn't fit anymore - took my rings over to get sized down, from 7.25 to 6. They were very friendly and up front about the charge, as well as took the time to explain there might be additional charges due to small diamonds along both sides of wedding band. Rings were ready the following morning and look literally brand new! And they fit beautifully. $100 to resize both, including redoing the rhodium coating on my rings which are 14K white gold. Highly recommend this jeweler - local to WF and right on S Main, great location and service!

The gorgeous diamond and yellow gold "Lady Slipper" ring and band Wake Forest Jewelers helped my husband design. It is perfect!

Derrick and Tina Carpenter are two of the sweetest business owners you will ever work with! Not to mention all of the staff at Wake Forest Jewelers are incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and will always welcome you with smiling faces! My, then, fiance worked closely with Wake Forest Jewelers while choosing my lovely engagement ring that they helped him to design and perfect all of the details. While we chose his wedding band and got mine sized, they were all so encouraging and helped us to make choices that were what we wanted and fit our budget! Not pushy at all! Customer oriented and willing to do whatever they can to help you get exactly what you are looking for! We are beyond pleased with our rings and are so grateful for the attention to detail and the service we received from Wake Forest Jewelers! We will be long time customers for all of our cleaning, repair, and jewelry needs!

Thank you for adding these charms to a bracelet.

Felt very at ease, no pressure. Friendly customer service. Took a watch on for adjustment, purchased a ring and had it sized the same day.

Would not recommend them with high carat gold. Wanted to turn my 24k gold into other jewelry and…read morethey did a scratch test to test the gold. They stated it was 22k. As a jeweler, they should know scratch tests are not meant for higher carat gold but a xrf or pmi gun. Took it to a pawn shop for testing and even the jewel recycle and they both confirmed it was 24k. Them being jewelers, they should know this and not try to scam customers. Their work is amazing from what I have seen but I can not trust them. Beware.

From the moment I met one of the owners, this gem of a store got my attention. Before setting foot into the shop, I was impressed by their proactive, organic social media campaigns. The visit to Jewel Smith of Durham blew our minds. The attention to in-store customer service was most refreshing and sadly unique. They know how to make the jewelry purchase experience fun and memorable. Each piece is created by talented architects with impressive tools and timeless machinery. There are exquisite pieces that are one of a kind with gems carefully purchased from every part of our planet. I realized after my first visit to the local mall here how I'd never again attempt a purchase at a chain jeweler. It's not too late for Christmas with their fully staffed extended Holiday hours and a dedicated parking lot. And then there's always Valentines Day.

We have a family cuckoo clock that hangs on the wall which we had bought on a trip to Europe over…read more50 years ago. It is a European clock with the original Dutch movements. A few years ago, it started to develop problems, running erratically and with the 2 drop weights which power the clock occasionally descending unequally. The time could be off by large amounts, even a few hours. In Dec. 2020, Clocktiques sent a technician, Jason, to our house. We told Jason the history, including the age, of the clock. He claimed that the problem was principally due to the fact that the 2 drop weights were not identical and he made an adjustment. About 6 months later, the same performance problems returned. I left my clock at Clocktiques for approximately 2 months and was charged a few hundred dollars for the repairs (I note that the charge for Jason's previous work was not reimbursed). For a few months the clock functioned well, but over the next couple of years, the issues not only returned but became worse: the clock would stop completely every few months, or so. I called Rick, the owner. I then dropped off my clock for several weeks at Clocktiques. They checked the clock and told me the issues were resolved. However, the problems returned. I decided to look for a different repair shop. In Sept. 2024, a shop in Raleigh told me that my clock needed a major overhaul. They opened up all of the internal workings, including repairing/replacing some of the bushings. The technician said that the serious problems had probably been present for at least a few years, and possibly much longer. After about 2 months in the shop and charges of a few hundred dollars, my clock is now running fine (and is under lengthy warranty coverage). I called Clocktiques demanding an explanation, but Rick was not able to provide one. I am deeply disappointed with the service I received at Clocktiques. While the shop carries an attractive and catchy name, my experience suggests otherwise. This is reminiscent of your taking your car to the mechanic when you hear a loud noise from the engine. The noise goes away for a while after you have paid a large "repair" bill but, then, months later, the car stops running as you find out you what you had actually needed was an engine overhaul in the first place.
