I go to Wakeup Call all the time, but I went there about a month ago and was told I had no points left on my coffee card after 10 visits, when I was sure I did. I brought it to the owner's attention and he rectified it immediately. It was nothing more than a mix-up on my card? They didn't lose this customer and good thing too, because I enjoy their coffee. Their drive-up is friendly and efficient. But if you can take time to go in and sit down, it is small but lovely. Nice atmosphere and very clean too. My hate affair with Wake Up call began at this location. I won't rehash the many things that went wrong and the poor response from management when they saw my now removed review. I will say things have improved, with the workers being much more friendly and efficient. And this location is always really clean and well maintained. But the coffee. You know, the thing they are supposed to be really good at because that is their main thing? Yeah, they still burn the milk here. I just don't get it. Wake Up call has a location on North Sullivan road that makes amazing coffee. So why can't a place from the same company do it right in this location? Wake Up Call. Send the folks from your North Sullivan store (not the one by Fred Meyer, the one further) out to your other locations, and teach them to pay enough attention to not burn the milk and ruin the coffee. It shouldn't be so hard to take a little extra effort to make sure the milk is not over steamed and the steam pitcher is cleaned. I really do not understand how your company has stayed in business so long. And before you send me another message telling me your machine are calibrated to a certain temperature, just realize that is the problem. It only takes a small amount of attention to make sure the milk is not burned. Don't just teach everyone to rely on a machine, teach them how to make decent coffee. read more

While waiting for my friend to get her massage, I was in need of some good coffee. I walked to this little spot. It has a tiny sitting area if you want to enjoy your coffee there but most people seem to drive through. The service was friendly and quick. If you're looking for food, I might suggest a different spot. The ordered a London Latte and Egg & Bacon Burrito. The latte was fantastic with a mix of hazelnut and salted caramel. I'd highly recommend this one of you want to explore something new. The burrito on the other hand was much different than expected. It was ok but not the fresh breakfast burrito I was hoping for. I'd recommend sipping the food and sticking with the coffee. It's on point! read more

I don't normally give one stars but I have given this location many chances!! I love wake up call coffee in general and this is the closest, most convenient location for me but I will be done and make the trek to the pines or Sullivan location. There was a couple times where I asked for an extra hot coffee and it was cold like they literally just dumped the milk from the carton into my hot cup. They are always in a huge rush even when there isn't a line of cars. They almost always get the sizing wrong. I have brought this to their attention and get dismissed. If you ask for stoppers or straws they act super annoyed. They even so much as shoved both a straw and a stopper in the lid at the same time which is very counter productive and I feel like it was done only because I asked for them and it's such an inconvenience. They also don't label any of the drinks even if they are the same size and all hot. So I have 3 hot cup drinks all the same size and no idea which is which. Last time this happened I asked the girl about it's and she said "oh oops I'm not sure" and blankly stared at me and then closed the window. I don't have this issue at any other wake up call location. I choose wake up call because of their service and consistent, delicious coffee. It sucks to have to go out of my way to go to a different location but that is what I will have to do from now on. read more

I was walking back from the eyeglass place in the strip center next to here, so I finally stopped in. I make my own herbal tea at home and rarely drink coffee, so I was only looking at the pastries. The fact that they're a coffee place and I didn't try a drink is the only reason I didn't give it five stars. There were a row of different things. They didn't look like cookies or scones, so I asked. They are "muffin tops," large muffin dough in cookie shape, no deep section as in a muffin. They're third party prepared but in the store. I got the lemon/poppy one to nibble on during the ride home. The employees were very nice and helpful, and the store was clean. I don't know why people want to waste gas at a pickup coffee place, but for one of those it seems to be excellent. read more

I moved here not so long ago and my roommates always liked going here so I tried the coffee and at first it was good and had no complaints but then one night I asked for a 20oz Carmel macchiato on the sweeter side and was charged 7 dollars on top of they gave me a small and was the most bitter macchiato I ever had then I went again and was charged less for a bigger size and then went again and was once again charged 7 when asking for a 20oz and ONCE AGAIN given a shotty small...never going again read more

I absolutely LOVE their coffee. The Abbey is my favorite drink, but Snickers is also a great one. Very consistent in the drink making and staff is always friendly and usually knows what I want by the time I get to the window. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I feel they don't always do a good job at making sure both lines are helped equally. Anytime I go through the shorter line (the side that only fits 3/4 cars max) I will wait for 10+ minutes and about 3-4 cars will go through on the other side for every 1 car that is helped on the shorter side. I feel like they cater to that side more because there are more people. Anyway, great coffee and great service! read more

I usually go to this location and to Sullivan. I will admit I prefer this location. I can go in and with out asking they know my order...even if it has been several weeks since I was in. The coffee tastes so much better and the cost is a fraction of Starbucks. Service is always great and the coffee tastes wonderful (not the usual burnt taste from SB). I have traveled all over the world and have tried many coffees. I was in El Salvador for a month and know what fresh coffee tastes like. Worse service ever was today. I paid for a 24 oz vanilla carmel chai tea. She gave me 20 oz. When i said.paid for 24 she dumped my 20 oz onto a 24 and added extra ice. So a 20 oz will fit onto 24. I've been coming here for a few weeks now and I usually always get a SF Red Bull drink. Although the one time I asked for a specific coffee, the barista wasn't too thrilled. Whoever made it made it the right way but when I said it was a little sweet and was asking how to order it better next time she was mad. I asked if they could throw in a shot of decaf and in a rude manner she told the other barista to charge me for the extra shot. (Which would've been fine if she hadn't been so rude, but I was still willing and ready to pay for it.) A different barista at the window told me not to worry about it and that she was sorry about her coworkers behavior.. I realize that coffee is complicated- because I've been there but next time try not to take your frustrations out on the customer. read more

Great staff and great coffee! Nice place to meet up, hang out, and drink coffee. Decent prices for the coffee plus they offer white coffee which is always a must! Clean every time I've gone and firendly service. Only reason for the 4-not-5 star is that it can be hard to focus of concentrate when there is any more then like 2 people there because it is fairly small inside and the chairs are kinda uncomfortable and very loud when you move them. K... this location rocks! I'm only giving 4 stars because I have tried all locations now. I have made sure to order the same drink at all locations. 32 Oz Rockstar w pineapple and strawberry (recommended for me by a lady at evergreen by the way) evergreen made it right sullivan made it right I was pleased until pines just didn't do it right. Something taste wise was completely off. To earn a 5 star with me is to beat out Starbucks in the fact that I can go to a Starbucks and order a menu item drink and it is the same no matter which location. Wake up call?!?! You are the only place I go. Now can we please see a unison in the stores and quality control. Also no variance in service. I like it when I see someone not bummed over no tips. Why cuz I remember that I didn't tip them last drink session and i do it later only if they weren't bummed. :) thank you. Keep up the good work.
