I came into Waldo's hoping for a decent meal, but my experience turned into an absolute health hazard before I could even take a single bite. From the moment we walked in, the overall lack of cleanliness was impossible to ignore. The dining area was neglected, with noticeable trash, napkins, and debris scattered across the floor that clearly hadn't been swept in quite some time. While that was already a major red flag, what followed made staying completely out of the question. As we were waiting, I noticed multiple roaches actively crawling along the floor and even scurrying up the walls near the seating area. Seeing an active pest infestation in plain sight inside the dining room completely ruined my appetite, and I refused to touch or consume any of the food. Cleanliness and basic food safety should be the bare minimum for any restaurant, but this establishment failed miserably on both fronts. I cannot recommend this place to anyone until management takes immediate action to address the sanitation and extermination issues. Save your money and protect your stomach by dining elsewhere. $32.32 wasted with no refund for the infested restaurant. read more

Waldo's Chicken & Beer exceeded our expectations! We ordered the rotisserie half chicken meal with potato wedges, mac & cheese, and the little bread that came with it, plus the OG Chicken Sandwich. I'm honestly not much of a chicken person, but wow! Everything was absolutely delicious. The chicken was flavorful, juicy, and cooked perfectly, and all the sides were great too. The service was friendly and fast, even through the drive-thru, which made the whole experience even better. Visit to Breckenridge Village - large group with some kids so the outside play area was great. Decided to grab bite to eat and we were able to find large table inside at Waldo's. For the group the inside was perfect. Each family went up and placed order - you get a number placard and the staff was great in serving as orders came up. Food was hot and good sized portions. Waldo's is situated in the Breckenridge Village. What a cute place to visit with your family. There was plenty of parking and seating inside and outside. There are several menu items that I am crazy about - the chop chop blue salad, the fowl mouth sandwich, the white beans, the cheddar biscuits, the collard greens, and of course their fried chicken. The stuff is extremely helpful. I love the down to earth vibes. Flyway, Eat My Catfish, Delucas Pizza, or the Root Cafe are all in the same center with better staff and a more consistent experience. AND THEY'RE LOCAL! Add a dab of the whipped butter it comes with and just enjoy. The OG Sandwich is better than anything you can get at a fast food or fast causal restaurant. The breading is next level. Can't go wrong on any of the sides. Pick what you generally like and you'll be pleased with their version. For dessert the banana pudding is outstanding. I could eat fried chicken every day. One of my kids (home from college) could eat Mac n cheese every day. This will be our new go-to when I don't feel like the labor intensive brining and frying chicken myself. He got the chicken sandwich (he loved it) and I got the 1/4 dark meat meal with Mac n cheese and greens (he got my Mac). The staff were also really personable and nice to us and the price was right. My kid gave the Mac n cheese a 8/10 and the chicken was 10/10 for sure. I also opted for the spiciest sauce they had and it had a nice kick to it, but wasn't overwhelming (rocket sauce, I think). When we went, it was not very busy, but the ambience is casual and there is enough space to where people aren't stacked up against each other. My family and I love this Waldo's location. It has a great atmosphere with plenty of seating. It's a great place to watch a game and have dinner with friends and family. The tender basket is a great value and the Fowl Mouth sandwich is one of the best spicy chicken sandwiches in the area. I always have plenty of fries and the sauces are soooo good. So we decided to try it instead of our original plans. I ordered the pulled chicken with pickles, with a side of collard greens. My husband ordered the 3 piece tenders with French fries. We both got soda in a souvenir cup. Both of our meals were extremely tender, juicy and full of flavor. The collard greens were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Our total was around $25.00 before tip.
