Waldo's Chicken & Beer exceeded our expectations! We ordered the rotisserie half chicken meal with potato wedges, mac & cheese, and the little bread that came with it, plus the OG Chicken Sandwich. I'm honestly not much of a chicken person, but wow! Everything was absolutely delicious. The chicken was flavorful, juicy, and cooked perfectly, and all the sides were great too. The service was friendly and fast, even through the drive-thru, which made the whole experience even better. We were just passing through, but if we're ever in the area again, we'd definitely stop here for another meal. read more

I was coming here daily until the staff started constantly refusing to open the outdoor bar window is silly. Before it was the pollen, then it was "busy" now its "too hot". I will not be choosing Waldos Breckenridge for my beer or chicken any longer. Flyway, Eat My Catfish, Delucas Pizza, or the Root Cafe are all in the same center with better staff and a more consistent experience. AND THEY'RE LOCAL! I would recommend Waldos only for take out at this point. I was also displeased to find the pingpong table deconstructed when I went to play a few weeks ago. The French fries are soggy and cold. Fried it in bunches though the guy said no additives. Only one person at the back helping at the kitchen The Rottiserie chicken not tasty at all. The coleslaw was Ok as Well as macaroni just right amount of salt cornbread was ok. They said they brined the chicken with what. Not really tasty read more

I absolutely loved this place!!! This is a basic no frills chicken joint. The chicken is flavorful, sides are great and the cheddar biscuits are to die for! Parking in plenty full as well! There's not much to not like about Waldo's. There's plenty of parking in the shopping center, the place is huge, good music, cold beer, and great sides and fried chicken. It's an order at the counter and have a seat kinda place. They don't do substitutions, which is the only change I'd recommend. Let the people buy what they want. read more

It was supposed to be a wing and breast but the wing was non-existent and the breast was small! The fried white chicken was was way over cooked! Any browner and it would have been burned and was super dry! The tenders were a nice size and had been cooked correctly but when they were served they were barely warm! The macaroni in the mac n cheese was undercooked and was barely warm! Food is great. Atmosphere is awesome. Service is terrific. Our new favorite and go-to spot. Get the cheddar biscuits. They're not salty like the red lobster ones but instead a little sweet. Add a dab of the whipped butter it comes with and just enjoy. The OG Sandwich is better than anything you can get at a fast food or fast causal restaurant. The breading is next level. Can't go wrong on any of the sides. Pick what you generally like and you'll be pleased with their version. For dessert the banana pudding is outstanding. Did I mention it's a huge space with a huge bar with TVs all around the restaurant for watching games? Place a few Arcade games new(golden tee) and old(Pac-Man). I could eat fried chicken every day. One of my kids (home from college) could eat Mac n cheese every day. This will be our new go-to when I don't feel like the labor intensive brining and frying chicken myself. He got the chicken sandwich (he loved it) and I got the 1/4 dark meat meal with Mac n cheese and greens (he got my Mac). The staff were also really personable and nice to us and the price was right. My kid gave the Mac n cheese a 8/10 and the chicken was 10/10 for sure. I also opted for the spiciest sauce they had and it had a nice kick to it, but wasn't overwhelming (rocket sauce, I think). When we went, it was not very busy, but the ambience is casual and there is enough space to where people aren't stacked up against each other. The lemonade is also amazing and refreshing when you need to cut through the richness of the perfectly fried chicken. read more

I haven't visited Waldo's since November 2024. I had a horrible experience last year with my Door Dash experience. I wanted to provide an an undate. My family and I love this Waldo's location. It has a great atmosphere with plenty of seating. It's a great place to watch a game and have dinner with friends and family. The tender basket is a great value and the Fowl Mouth sandwich is one of the best spicy chicken sandwiches in the area. I always have plenty of fries and the sauces are soooo good. While it's not a full service restaurant, they do their best to make sure that every customer is taken care of... at least that's been my experience. read more

When you share a parking lot with a Chik-Fil-a you better be good at chicken. Waldo's was fantastic. Wide verities of chicken options (fried, rotisserie, pulled etc...). We were waiting for a nearby restaurant to open, while seeing people streaming in and out of Waldo's. It seemed popular, and the reviews were mostly good. So we decided to try it instead of our original plans. I ordered the pulled chicken with pickles, with a side of collard greens. My husband ordered the 3 piece tenders with French fries. We both got soda in a souvenir cup. Both of our meals were extremely tender, juicy and full of flavor. The collard greens were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Our total was around $25.00 before tip.
