I'd been meaning to change over to another pharmacy for ages, and I think this month I'll finally do it, hassle that it is. The pharmacy seems to be understaffed, and many of the employees there do not seem to be trained in basic customer service. I rarely receive a notification when my prescription is delayed, or I get an automated notification AFTER I call to see if it's ready when it's been a few days. A lot of them don't understand that customers are often playing phone tag between the pharmacy and the insurance company, sometimes for a week or more, with Walgreens and the insurance company each putting blame on the other. In a nutshell, other pharmacies are better equipped to handle all the complications that can come up in Rx management. read more

The one lady at the pharmacy counter had absolutely no idea what she was doing (actually struggling with the alphabet). The other lady in the pharmacy was offensively impolite. So then I go to pick up my pictures and there is no one there. Not going to be completely negative: the lady at the front cash register was really nice and attempted to be helpful. read more

The pharmacy is VERY slow. If you bring in a prescription and tell them you'll pick it up tomorrow, come tomorrow it will not be ready. You will have to wait while they fill it. They also have a habit of forgetting to save your insurance information, so make sure to bring your insurance card every time. I only still go to this place because it's close to my house, and it has a drive through (I have bad hips, getting a replacement in a couple months), so I don't mind sitting in the drive thru listening to the radio. It gives me a chance to catch up on audiobooks too since they really do take forever. Last Flu season I went inside the pharmacy to get my flu shot, and ended up waiting an hour and a half. I was lucky I didn't have any plans, and could just catch up on a book I was reading, but I'm never going inside that pharmacy ever again. Use the drive thru, and only when you have plenty of time to kill. read more

I was about to go to the check out line and the cashier walks out of the store. A minute he comes back later and asks me if I am ready to check out. I naturally said yes. However, he was just playing with his cell phone. Then I finally said, " could you please text later?" He looked at me and tried to give me an excuse as to why he was texting. I will NEVER set foot in that store again. If you need a prescription, I would strongly urge you to go elsewhere. They are totally incompetent. I needed a prescription filled for myself after being discharged from the hospital following major surgery. I was in a lot of pain. This was a Friday late afternoon. My wife went there twice and never got the prescription. The prescription was not filled until Wednesday. Needless to say, I had already gotten it somewhere else. The surgeon even tried to call three times and was put on hold three times for fifteen min. He hung up after no one ever pick up. read more

On hold for the pharmacy for an eternity. Automated system hung up on me after being on hold for 12 minutes. This is the second times I have been unable to reach them. Horrid customer service. I will not get a prescription filled here ever again! read more

Worst pharmacy ever. Dropped off a prescription on a Friday, they didn't have it but said they'd order and to pick up Tuesday afternoon. Came back Tuesday, didn't have it, hadn't even ordered it. Made them give back the Dr's written prescription so I could have filled elsewhere. Took 15 minutes to find the prescription . Took to Giant pharmacy and filled while I waited. Second experience, ordered a refill online for a different prescription. Website defaulted to a location not convenient so I changed it. Email confirmation had me going to default location fir pick up. Get there, sure enough, not filled at that location. Had to wait 20 minutes to get it. read more

Slow as molasses. Completely disorganized. Will not answer the phone. Wait at pharmacy is ridiculous. Remember to take a book or a tablet. Mix up personal information in computer. Notify you when drugs are ready, but you get there and only half the prescriptions have been filled. They have a lame excuse for everything. Finally got with help of store manager and was told one drug with a normal $3.00 co-pay was costing me $900.00 because it was "under the wrong profile?" The pharmacy customer service is terrible. You will wait if you walk in, you will wait if you drive up and if there are two cars in line you better plan for a 20 minute wait unless someone in front of you leaves....there can be nobody in line when you drive up, nobody in the store, and the people will just ignore till you "put your time in" and they get to you.....I would rather just park and walk into Target, get what is needed and leave and save time doing it. Today, a pharmacy (ANY pharmacy) is more like dealing with a government agency vs. the ol' drug store in your local neighborhood...regulated up the lower intestine by the Feds and insurance companies. It's a wonder that anyone in America can even get a prescription filled these days! So it all boils down to the people behind the counter. For me they're pretty nice to deal with. It does suck when their hands are tied and you cant get your script due to Red White and Blue tape. so love it or move to Canada, Europe or Mexico...otherwise, write your Congressman & see how far that gets you. read more

This Walgreen's location (Quarry Lake) is convenient for us. Unfortunately, it seems to be their reputation is terrible. The biggest problem is their customer service (or lack of). Whether you stand in line inside or go to the drive thru, the wait time is herendous. (always poor). The employees are not nice. They seem like nasty robots.Complaining doesn't help. No matter if you try to talk to a manager or you call corporate headquarters, they just don't care. They have enough problems just filling your prescriptions, and they sometimes get them wrong, or they never process them. Standing in line there, you hear people complaining all the time. Now, I started to get my prescriptions from a mail order company. I am done with this horrible place. It's no secret. just look at other reviews here on Yelp and elsewhere. Avoid this place like the plague. Who needs this punishment. Life is too short to waste time here. read more

I am so disappointed in the Pharmacy service, most especially the internet connection and failure to follow through with any, if not wrong, answers on request, even the chat is always busy-- Then you look at the hours of the store & call hoping to get an answer and they are CLOSED. when the web site says they are open. ( I would think with all the other problems this would be one that could be easily corrected!!!) Try to leave a message on the automated answering system and can't get anybody or any info. It just keeps going back to the same annoying message. I ordered a RX refill on the automated phone service at 1:10 PM today that was confirmed at that time. When I had not gotten a voice mail or an email conformation as to pick up and fee by 7;30 this evening, I got a sinking feeling about the several problems that I had encountered before with this Pharmacy. So I called to check if they had filled the RX. I gave RX # and my phone # both home & cell and the answer from the recorded message was they have no record of the RX being filled or called in. I then went on line only to find Mixed messages. These mix up, misunderstandings, or what ever you want to call them is not good for heart patients,high blood pressure, or anybody else for that matter. Unless- maybe they are looking to create more heart patients ,more high blood pressure patients, etc. So they can sell more Prescriptions. Humm--- No way to run an Airline or a pharmacy !!! read more
