Today was the third time in two days that I had to go to this Walgreens because of an error on their end. They are extremely unprofessional, unkind and seem to take pleasure in making people wait in hour plus lines. None of them know what they're doing and they just stand around chatting while people are waiting for their prescriptions. Today, a woman nicely came up to the window and asked if she could get her vaccine at the time she signed up for since the line wasn't moving. I then heard the pharmacist make a snarky comment back to this woman where she then proceeded to make fun of that woman with the other pharmacists in the back. I was only the second person in a 15 person line and I still had to wait 30 minutes before being helped. I'm a college student and I could run that pharmacy better than the "experts" they have staffed. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

I honestly don't understand how this place stays in business. Is this a Corporate-owned Walgreens? Are there non-corporate or independent Walgreens? I'm asking b/c all I can figure is that this must be an independent Walgreens where the actual owner just doesn't give a F#%k. I don't use the pharmacy but do find myself here occasionally to buy shampoo, batteries lotion or whatever. I'm am always, always AMAZED and not in a good way. The shelves are usually no more than 1/2 stocked, mostly out of the normal things and the employees seem either hugely disinterested/apathetic and/or grossly under-trained. My last visit earlier this week, I felt rude for interrupting the 20-something cashier to ring me up. HE was super busy on his iPhone. When he did look up to ring me in, it was clear that I was intruding on this personal time. During Covid, I thought, Yep, it's hard to staff/ these folks are on the front lines. But we're a year beyond the worst of supply chain issues, staffing issues (if you pay enough), etc. What's up? I pledge from here on out to go to ANY other pharmacy / drugstore in Boulder before I step foot in this Walgreens again. It's by far the most convenient, but only until you get inside. read more

Its wild how they go out of their way to be the most unhelpful pharmacy around. If on the offhand chance the script actually makes it to the system, chances are they will be out of your medication anyways. Embarrassing to visit that property, it would be much better if they just closed this branch down as nobody knows what they actually do. Walgreens - the display of incompetence I have observed each time i have simply tried to pick up MY MEDICATION is truly unreal. horrible customer service. i work in customer service so i usually let things slide, but today was ridiculous. i was getting my medications and they told me to have a seat to wait 5 minutes. ended up being an hour, im still waiting. we've been trying to get attention from the staff but they look the other way whenever a customer is waiting to talk to them. this has happened with 3 people already within the time we've been here, at first i thought they were overreacting but the service here is absolutely horrible. switching pharmacies after this, so ridiculous. don't waste your time coming here. read more

1 star is too many for this pharmacy. The problem is not the workers, but the indifferent corporate management (see other Walgreens reviews), under-staffing, under-training, and definitely under-compensation of the workers. We will never do business with any Walgreens again after what we experienced last evening. It was bad judgment on my part to accept a vaccine appointment at any Walgreens and especially at 5pm just as people were getting off work. And on a Friday no less. Still .... My immune compromised spouse had a 5pm COVID vaccine appointment. We showed up at 4:40 to find a line of people 12 deep that went 10 minutes at a time without moving so much as one person. Finally, some kindly soul ahead of us in line heard us discussing the situation and pointed out that there was a separate window for vaccine checkin. The sign was at the front of the line and was pointed the wrong direction! When we went up to that window to check in, the general chaos in the pharmacy was painfully evident. Way too few staff to handle predictable 5pm traffic. People were routinely told it would be 30 minutes before their prescriptions would be filled. Which meant they'd have to come back later and stand in line all over again for the better part of an hour. As we finished checking in for the vaccine, an older lady was receiving hers. We were next in line so thought things were improving. 45 minutes later, I approached the vaccine checkin desk again and pointed out to a pharmacist--there were only two at this swamped pharmacy--that it had been 45 minutes since the last person was vaccinated. If Walgreens is going to offer vaccinations, they need to staff for it. Hire an LPN or someone qualified to give injections. Expecting the pharmacists to interrupt their nonstop work of filing prescriptions to give vaccinations is madness. I get my health care from Kaiser. I made a COVID vaccination appointment at the Baseline clinic. I checked in online, went directly to the 2nd floor, waited less than 5 minutes, and less than 5 minutes later an LPN had vaccinated me and sent me on my way. I've written our Senators and Representative asking them to do something about the madness around vaccines. They ought to be available in doctor's offices when people are there for other purposes. Pharmacies are not set up to give vaccinations; they are in the business of filling prescriptions. And expecting pharmacists to do both is unreasonable. Our whole health care system is a mess generally, especially for people like my spouse who need the care of multiple specialists. Bottom line: it was my mistake to go to any Walgreens pharmacy for a vaccination. Walgreens complains about staffing shortages. There's no staffing shortage; there's a compensation shortage, a staffing level shortage, and a training shortage. And, needless to say, a management shortage. Do yourself a favor: go anywhere else for your flu, COVID, and RSV vaccinations. It's got to be easier elsewhere. read more

I have never felt the need to write a review but the pharmacy here is abysmal. I had to go three times in one day to try and fill my meds. The first time I was turned away cause they didn't have a pharmacist on staff, the second time I waited for over 30 minutes at one point for them to ALL TAKE THEIR LUNCH BREAK AT ONCE. When I did finally get to the front after being emailed saying it was ready, I was told they hadn't filled my prescription yet and it would be another 30-45 minutes. The third time I again waited in like for at least 15 minutes. Every time I was there today the line was 12-15 people long and moving slower the molasses. Convenient location. Pharmacy service delivers each month yet always after delays due to an automated phone messaging service that is at best erratic. Difficult to impossible to reach pharmacy thru direct phone call. Prices on most store items higher by 25% in general compared to nearby stores. read more

It is what it is ... Walgreens. This location is close to my apartment and I'm usually able to find what I'm looking for. The staff is friendly but there isn't many people working so it can be difficult to get assistance. All in all it's alright but nothing spectacular. read more

I am not discounting issues others may have had in the past but I have experienced this location to be updated, well maintained and efficient. This is one of the nicer Walgreens I've been to. I had a prescription sent in from a clinic about 45 min before I got there and it was ready when I got it -- great because I needed it ASAP. Rudest pharmacy I have ever encountered. I had to sent complaints up to two levels of management to get these employees to lighten up a little bit. I don't know what their problem is. I'm sorry for them. They must have some really horrible work practices that are going on in the business operation so it makes these employee really angry & upset. How sad. I hope that one day these people will have a better work environment so that they treat their customers with respect and kindness. Obviously it is not just the employees here who are the problem. I am beyond disappointed in this pharmacy. As a prescriber, I called in an Rx for one of my patients. When the patient arrived to pick up the medication, she was told that they were out of it, but it would probably be in the next day. No phone call or communication to the patient's doctor so that we could find the medication elsewhere. Did it not occur to them that maybe this patient NEEDED her medication that day? A courtesy call would have been professional and expected. This is totally unacceptable, unethical and could have resulted in a patient emergency. read more

Today I went to pick up a refill of my blood pressure medicine and was told they were out of stock. I told them I would run out. Don't get your prescriptions here. The pharmacist ad hoc'd my child's script and double the volume of intake to keep the ratio correct and didn't notify us until we came to pick it up. Then was incredibly rude and didn't offer any form of appology until I explained how that might effect a 1.5 year old. Very unprofessional. I spent 7 days trying to get my daughter's prescription for her inhaler filled. I wish I could give them 0 stars. It took 4 days after the doctor faxed the prescription to say they needed more instructions because they couldn't put as needed as the dose. Then after our Dr. told them 2 puffs as needed, we went to the store on 3 separate occasions to try and pick it up. The first time they couldn't find it, then they said it would take an additional hour to fill, the last time they couldn't find it again and told us the problem was the issue we'd already resolved and we had to wait again. I used the Walgreens online appointment scheduler to get an appointment for my flu vaccine. When I went to my appointment the pharmacist said they're out of flu vaccine. I told her that's disappointing and they should update their online scheduler. Another pharmacist behind the counter told me that's not going to happen. I don't know where they find these unhappy people but from the rampant bad reviews on Yelp and comments on Walgreens' Facebook page, I can imagine that working at Walgreen only makes people more miserable. read more

This Walgreens has the rudest staff in the pharmacy !! They were so mad and rude because they had to do the paper work again for a prescription because I came in after 10 days of it being prescribed, and the pharmacist looked at me with a mean look and said next time come in when it is prescribed ! lol I can come in any time I want to pick MY medicine. This is the worst Walgreens pharmacy I have ever dealt with. I went to the emergency room and found out I had a serious injury which required surgery. Made the mistake of taking my script here. I took it on a Sunday it was for a narcotic. I didn't go get it until 3 days after that because the ER gave me some to hold me until I felt like going to the pharmacy. Finally I go get it there like" we needed an authorization so it's not covered by your insurance." I was upset because they didn't call me or anything, and I work for the same company that is my insurance carrier, so I know the drill. Then it took not 1 not 2 not 3, but 4 people to come to the window before I even got the medication. Then the drive thru even worst. It's always " I can't hear you". I did what any rational person would do. Switched all my meds to another pharmacy. Now when I go there it's no hassle oh and I got that same medication after my surgery and it was covered. I paid .90 that's right. Walgreens will never get my business- the pharmacy anyway ever again. It's my medication not yours deal with it.. read more
