This Walgreens location is a mess. Literally and figuratively. Called pharmacy at 8am (opening time) and was instantly on hold with two calls in front of me. OK that's fine. I know that a lot of people have the same idea right when it opens. But I was on hold for 36 minutes before someone answered. That person told me my refilled had already been called in and that it would be ready in a couple of hours. Click hung up. I went in four hours later and it's not ready. This is only one of many instances where their lines are long, where counter staff are abrupt, where shelves are disorganized, where the floor is dirty, where the bathroom has no toilet paper, when staff walk around talking about going on a break, eating snacks and shuffling around. The parking lot is a snarl. I've given them plenty of times to redeem themselves to little avail (I will say there are a few staff members who go above and beyond, but they're rarely on shift). However I used the restroom this morning and there were multiple bugs and spiders. Not small ones but these guys! Eek! I didn't leave with anything due to this. I wouldn't want to bring items into my car or home knowing there are bugs all over just to avoid the slight chance ones hiding in an item I buy. If I could give this pharmacy 0 stars I would! As an insulin dependent diabetic I depend on this medication to keep me alive and well. Well, apparently Walgreens could not care less and kept giving me the runaround on why my scrip couldn't be filled. They kept telling me " we ordered it" and it mysteriously never showed up. They don't answer their phone in the pharmacy- I held out for 2 hours before the phone was picked and slammed down again. I have never had such problems with a pharmacy! I transferred my prescriptions to CVS where they actually answer the phone, fill prescriptions in a timely manner, and know how to act properly with customers. Avoid at all costs! read more

9/10 it's a horrible experience. Hours are unpredictable, hold times on the phone exceed acceptable waiting times, 90 minutes. In line I hear customers dealing with mistakes frequently and the worst I've seen is they left their requisition/manifest paperwork out on the counter where customers are standing and waiting. I could see all the pt info which is a major violation. I paid for delivery of my last script but they never did it. I've been out of meds for 4 days since they just shut down and make no effort to take care of people. Going to switch to another pharmacy, not going to Walgreens anymore. read more

Generally going here is ok, Just don't try to get a vacination there! They require an appointment but then you have to stand in line for 20 min+ to even get the paper work to get the vaccination. Once you get to the front of the line and have the paper work filled out then you sit for 1 hour and half HOURS before actually get the the vaccination! Also I afree with a previous comment their parking lot is a nightmare. In the winter they the snow piles up and even worse. read more

I've had a couple of experiences here during COVID and they were both pretty good all around. I'll start with the only downside, which is something they can't necessarily control is in the evenings that I've visited, there are just a lot of people there. I wish there was a little more monitoring of how many people were in the building. They may be regulating it, but it's not necessarily obvious to the customer. The best thing about this location is the 24 hour pharmacy. I have had a couple instances where needed time options outside of my typical pharmacy (which is only open weekdays and 9-5pm). Website always has problems and now their new policy for delivery is to have items delivered from the local store....even though the store doesn't have it stocked. Hey, a Walgreens I really actually like! Let me start by saying that parking here should be an Olympic sport. If you make it in and out without what I call 'love tapping' another car, you're in good shape. Even if you do tap someone you're probably alright. The staff here has always been really friendly and ready to help. They carry the full line of Big and Sexy hair products INCLUDING Back Comb in a Bottle (hollaaaa) and rarely are out of anything I need. Lines move quickly and you can be in and out in a matter of a few minutes. I wish I could give a negative star, I just left this location picking up critical medication. I went to the pharmacy yesterday after receiving a call that my medication was ready, and of course it wasn't. I was told to come back after receiving another call that my medication was ready and AGAIN of course it wasn't ready. When I stated my displeasure to the manager of the pharmacy she yelled at me and stated HE can't find it. I can't explain just how humiliating and small this made me feel. I plan on calling corporate, I don't expect much to happen. But, I will definitely let them know my feelings. read more

This Walgreens runs totally different to any I've ever been to. The pharmacy staff at any other location will take coupon codes at the pick up but this one doesn't. They make you go to a different counter for them to type it in then go back to the pick up. There was no one in line so she could have easily just put it in herself. The customer service is also very lacking here. I'm willing to drive an extra twenty minutes to avoid dealing with this pharmacy again. I've given them multiple tries and they always have sub par service and functionality of the pharmacy. read more

This Walgreens Pharmacy Department is horrible they are so f***ing rude & customer service skills is zero. I called to REFILL my prescriptions I told the girl my information so she could pull up my scripts she was only able to find one ok...then I told her I'm just refilling my meds she then said I don't have any other meds listed for you. I knew she was wrong so I just refilled the one bottle. I got home grabbed my other pills bottles and of course I was right so I called back. I talked with a different person and explained what happen she said that I had two profiles in their system that's the reason for the confusion. Ok no problem right! One star for this location, only because of the cheery man at the counter (Michael), whom I haven't seen in a while. If he is no longer at this Walgreen's, then they really don't deserve any stars at all! **NEVER** ever use this pharmacy for your prescription needs. A year or more ago, I picked up my usual prescription for B/C pills, got it home, and found heart medication in the package (even though my name and the proper prescription name were printed on the bag). I immediately drove back, but I couldn't have my own prescription (Walgreens records showed it had been filled already) nor could I return someone else's Hydralazine because I had already removed it from the store. I wonder if Walgreen's would have paid my funeral expenses if I had ingested the Hydralazine? This place is fine for buying candy bars and Christmas lights, but it's a pharmacy in name only. When I switched to Dierbergs, I also learned that my insurance covers my prescriptions -- something Walgreens never bothered to tell me. The convenience store part is fine, and the prices are good. The jolly guy at the register is why I am writing this review. He is there every single day with a big smile on his face which puts a big smile on my face. The guy needs a vacation, a day off or something because he is a genuinely hard worker who enjoys greeting people and being a happy employee. Just your normal Walgreens. Pulling in and out of this location can be difficult because Clayton Road is busy and the exit will only let you turn Right onto the road. The store front could be cleaner, but the staff has always been friendly and helpful. This is near my apartment, so I always visit this location whenever I need a prescription refilled or a quick grocery item. read more

This Walgreens has reopened. I had to run here this morning because my regular Walgreens doesn't open as early as this one does. I was greeted when I came in and acknowledged promply at the pharmacy. I was told it would be about 15 minutes for me to get my prescription and it only took about 7. Their shelves were a bit bare here and there, but I was happy with my overall experience! (And my regular Walgreens called me back later to tell me that they would have had to have gotten my prescription from another Walgreens because they didn't have it in stock.
