I went here to take my passport photo and when I came to pick it up an hour later they said the lighting was too dark. So I took another photo which looked fine when I viewed it on the screen. I was in a hurry so I waited a couple of days and received an automated call two days later saying my photos were ready. When I came to pick it up they couldn't locate it. They offered to let me retake the photo (for the 3rd time) but I didn't have make-up on so I couldn't take another photo at that moment. Moral of the story is, don't go there to take your passport photos. read more

I love this Walgreen's. They are very nice. The pharmacy is a little slow, but it is a pharmacy with tons of people who go there, so I understand the delay. The photo center is great. Very well priced and the sales people are always willing to help out when they see you are struggling. For those who rate one star, you must have just caught someone on a bad day. You can get in and out quickly. Found the pharmacist to be fine, the pharmacy techs however are young women who are too busy chatting with each other than looking to see if they actually have the prescription drug. I was told that they didn't stock the item after waiting 19 minutes. THEN I was called back to the counter when the pharmacist actually found the item. Every time I come here they just make it easy and everyone genuinely seems to care and is so nice. Which is relieving when dealing with anything to do with healthcare and prescriptions. I'm giving them one star just because at the end of it all the managers solution was to give me 10,000 points on my rewards card, but to me that means nothing. I was sitting in the ridiculously long drive up pharmacy line and they had two lines so I waited on the right side not directly at the window were they help you. So I was waiting and it was finally my turn and I moved up on my side when the car in front of me left. I was waiting till the lady was done helping the car that was directly at her window and then she would get to me next.. well another car pulled up after that car left and the guy in the car knew the girl so she proceeds to help him and totally ignore me. Not even an "can you please hold for one more second I will be right with you" NOTHING! So I start pushing the call button because I'm extremely aggravated and the guy in the car next to me saw that I was upset and realized that it wasn't right that she helped him first so he told her that she could help me cause I was there first.... and you know what she said??? No it's ok she can wait! I hate this drive up now just because of that super ignorant girl. She should get fired for such poor customer service. read more

Just moved to the area. First time here and it will be the LAST time. The store had zero traffic and the employee were standing around chit chatting while I was waiting to utilize the Western Union services. They were unorganized, unprepared to handle a simple financial transfer, and unfriendly. I hope someone sees this review and gets the process together better. It was really a bad experience. Juan Carlos is of no help and everyone was going to some mysterious back room. REVIEW NUMBER TWO. Well here we are, almost three years later... still working at the local urgent care... still waiting on hold for someone to please for the love of all that is holy PLEASE ANSWER THE PHONE! If it's this hard for a nurse to get ahold of the pharmacy here, I can only imagine the nightmare patients have to go through. I continue to steer my patients away from this pharmacy (as I stated I would in my last review) and nothing personal, I just can't trust them to be there for my patients when they can never bother to pick up the phone for me. Example: Today I called the pharmacy with a simple question on behalf of my patient; went to an auto answering system (okay typical, no worries) and was told that there was one call ahead of me... well that must have been one hell of a call because 35 minutes later and I'm still on hold. I even called on three other work phones, all while remaining on hold on the original call. Needless to say this was all taking place within earshot of my patient and you can bet they just changed their pharmacy. I don't know if this is a staffing issue or what needs to change to make this a smoother process, but please do make the changes necessary so that your providers and (more importantly) your patients are able to contact you. It would have been faster for me to walk there and ask them face to face... that's unfortunate. Besides that, as a convenience store this place is good they have all your basic necessities and some grocery items. read more

The only reason I'm rating this place 3 stars is because your cash register attendee "Alicia Rios" has absolutely no idea what the word "customer service" means. She scanned my items, no good morning, no thank you, not the slightest bit of acknowledgement that I was standing less than a foot away from her. Maybe she should show a little appreciation towards her job and customers that are upholding her job, considering there's thousands of people out there struggling to put food on their families table. Outstanding pharmacy experience. I was a customer with CVS in Pomona (not any longer) as they were filling my dogs prednisolone acetate for his glaucoma. They were constantly "out" and never bothered to call and tell me so I spent Saturday morning desperately calling pharmacies to see if anyone had it. I was driving all over, and finally came across this Walgreens. I called and spoke with Mike (Pharmacist or tech?) who was amazing and was so human and empathetic on the phone. He had it ready for me in an hour- Also, the young woman "Rosa" I think her name was was also very kind, personable and accomodating. Kudos to you guys for your competence and compassion- RARE with pharmacy experiences these days! read more

Zero stars Pharmacy personnel very rude to my mother while filling up her cancer meds When I returned to ask questions pharmacist mumbled insults under her breath about my mother not understanding her medications . This location sucks I'm always waiting so long to be helped. They call and say it's ready then when I go in they say it will be another hour wait then on top of that my prescription has been shorted more than once they need to be audited. This place takes forever, had dropped off a prescription in the morning and was told it will take 1/2 hr. To refill. Came back at noon (about 2 hrs later) waited for 20min and was told they're still refilling it. And got my prescription wrong. read more

I have called this pharmacy for 3 days, at all different times, and once late at night. They NEVER pick up their phone and after waiting for a half hour or longer, it hangs up on you. The customer service is TERRIBLE. There are plenty of other pharmacies around that will actually take time to talk to you and answer your questions. read more

We went with my husband and noticed they had laundry soap for $1.49 each we got about 12 of them but then I thought it might be a maximum you can buy so my husband went and ask cashier if there was a max and She said yes , I didn't remember if we had a card so my husband ask cashier to check if there was a card under my name and then he went back to where I was still shopping when we were ready to pay we went to the cashier and it was a different cashier all suddenly a worker appeared saying that my husband had already bought some and got out of the store and came back to get more which is not true my husband never bought any or got out of the store my husband was very upset for being accused of something he did not do and the worker asked him to step to another cashier and kept us waiting for a long time and said he will sell it to us but that it showed in my reward card we had bought some before when we had only asked if we had a reward card under our name , the worker was very unpolite and lack of customer service skills we will never come to this store again and hopefully he gets to read this so that he knows we never bought any laundry soap before and learn how to treat customers since he has a Job because of us consumers . read more

Called the Pharmacy here and was on hold for 15 mins I pulled up to the store still on hold and there's 1 car in line and no one in line inside but, everyone working was talking and laughing. Still had to wait 10 mins to speak to someone, then another 10 mins to get my medicine. I was on hold on my cell and for 25 mins and in line waiting at the same time. read more

First let me say I am a type-1 diabetic for 20 years now; I as well do not currently have medical insurance so I buy everything out of pocket. I walked in to buy test strips for my blood sugar and syringes to provide myself insulin daily. The tech said if you had a Rx I could give them to you, WITH MAJOR ATTITUDE!! Mind you there are 10 bags to a box and the law states you can buy up to 30 syringes (3 bags) each purchase if you are over 18, which I am currently 30 years old. The pharmacist, David, tried to tell me the law is 20 at a time that he said they did not have, after the girl working said they did but I needed an Rx to get them- of course I asked "did this change recently?" he responds with "we can only sell 20", I again replied with "did this change recently?" ... he says "ummm I think 3-4 months ago", I know this is not true and just to be sure I looked after I returned from lunch. What an intelligent response!! Let me also add I have been buying 3 bag of syringes for the past 2 years at other locations, this one just happens to be close to work. I do not appreciate being judged or given attitude for something so simple especially as a customer. I was on my lunch break, work and pay taxes just the same, I'm not on welfare scamming the system even though I'm a single mom with 2 small kids. What a horrible experience if you only knew what life was like for me!! I have looked up Ca state regulations for pharmacies and the people that work behind the counters, I as well plan on calling the corporate office to see what kind of standards they carry for this issue. At minimum as a customer in the store who shops often for other things I do not plan on going back to any Walgreens, this is not the first time experiencing this issue. We had some prints done from the photo center in this store (ordered online). Super disappointed- horrendous quality. The photos are so poorly done we have had to throw them away and reorder them at CVS. Complete waste of money and poor customer service on top of it. read more

If I could I wouldn't even give this place a star. Three terrible experiences by different members of my family is enough for me not to go back. I've never had a problem at the rest of the store they've always been nice it's the pharmacy department that is the problem. First they made my sister pay for medication that was covered by insurance the only reason my sister found out is because we both work with insurance companies. I can't even imagine how many people they have charged without telling them their insurance will cover it. Now today I went to pick up medication for my mother who is diabetic and in a lot of pain from her leg. I made sure I called 7 Hours in advance to make sure her medication was called in. I double checked it was the correct name, address, and d.o.b., over the phone because again this place has made a mistake in giving incorrect rx for my mother before. The lady that answered the phone said yes it was ready. Now I go to pick up the medication and all they tell me is that the rx was for a different patient with the same name. Ok I get it we all make mistakes but come on I gave the lady over the phone the name ,dob, and address TWICE, and still got the wrong information. Not only that the pharmacist has the nerve to give me attitude because I'm telling her I called to make sure this exact thing didn't happen AGAIN. This pharmacy is a joke. read more

This review is for the pharmacy. I will never fill prescriptions ructions here again. I dropped off my sons prescription and was told it'd be an hour. So an hour and 15 minutes later I go pick it up, wait about 15 minutes in line for the man to tell me it's not ready. He quoted me 15 minutes, okay, no problem. So, I grabbed a few kittens from the shelves and went back and say in the waiting area. The cashier clearly sees me waiting and continues taking other customers so I get up and ask if my sons prescription was ready. By this time it's been a half hour. It still wasn't. So I sat and waited, and waited, and wSited. An hour and 15 minutes later he tells me it's almost done. Well, I waited some more. Then, it's FINALLY ready! He tells me I need to get back in line which is long). I asked him if he was serious after quoting me the wrong amount of time twice and he said I still had too. So almost two hours I waited. It's clear they were under staffed for how busy it was, but they should quote customers an adequate time frame. And if it's your fault I'm waiting longer, give good customer service and make up for it with an apology and let me go ahead of the line since I have been waiting a lot longer than they had. This isn't the first time I waited this long, but it certainly will be my last. Cvs had my prescription within 10 minutes and gave me an apology for the wait. That's customer service. Side note: a man in front of me said he will never be back because this happens to him and his wife all the time. Walgreens... That's two us timers in one night. Two too many to lose. read more
