Walgreens closed the location closest to our home and sent us a notice that this is the closest alternative. It's set up just like the other Walgreens. Makeup near the door. A row of coolers on the opposite wall. Pharmacy in back. They have the expected snack aisle (all the chocolate!) magazines, cold remedies, dental care, skin care, you know. During our visit the store was busy and they had both tills operating. It seemed like one of their customers was having a bit of trouble and that was holding up one of the lines. The staff were lovely, the store clean and well stocked. Prices are as good as you will get at a pharmacy store. I tend to get the store brand products (like allergy meds, eye care, etc.) if available (after checking the ingredients to be sure they are the same). They also have a free membership you can join to accrue points and get coupons. Every bit counts. read more

I wish I could give the incompetent boobs who work in this pharmacy zero stars. I have gone here repeatedly, no choice of my own, and been told my script would be ready, to get here and find that it has not been filled. Go elsewhere if you want any decent pharmacy. read more

Prescriptions are rarely ready in a timely way. Stock is low and much comes from the distribution center which means a long wait.

Items that were marked on sale both in the flyer and on the shelf were not deducted at the register. Make sure you check your receipt for accuracy and don't assume they got it right. read more

Amid the coronavirus epidomic this location had all of my needs. Tissues, wipes, ice and deodorant. Win, win. Store was dead, it was clean and the guy behind the counter was personable and asking people if they found everything they were looking for. And assisting when needed. read more

Just a suggestion that the pharmacy repeat to you what the prescription is that you are picking up. CVS does it and it avoids the customer walking out with the wrong script. Especially since you don't accept the script back after it has left the store. It has happened a couple of times. read more

I'm not much of a Walgreen's shopper but when Rite Aid didn't have what I was looking for I stopped into this location. The place itself has been here for a while I've been in maybe 10 or so times and it's always well kept. The parking outside is great, plenty of spots and easy access in and out on to the main road. The guy working was really friendly and luckily I found what I was looking for. The prices weren't as bad as I thought they'd be so I might start shopping here more often. The women who work here are so nice one I know has worked here for at least 5 years she has short hair I was pregnant the first time I saw her. Always friendly with a good attitude. Second is a blonde very long hair so friendly an respectable. I love Walgreens prices ar just right. read more

If I could give negative 10 stars, I would! I went to the drive-up window today at 3:30 to pick up my prescriptions that were dropped off at 10:00 in the morning. I had to wait 15 minutes outside in my car because they could not find my prescriptions. 15 minutes is a long time to wait for something that should be ready to pick up. The pharmacy staff at this location (Tiogue Avenue, Coventry, R.I 02816) is so incompetent, it's unbelievable! There is always a long wait whenever I go to get my prescriptions and most of the time, they are never ready! Even though I have received notifications via email, text and phone calls that they are ready to be picked up. It's so frustrating! After waiting 15 minutes or so, the little girl, laughed and said to me "sorry, we couldn't find them". I was not amused. This happens all the time at this pharmacy. It's so ridiculous! They are an embarrassment to themselves and your company! I miss Rite-Aid! They actually had their shit together! And just so you know, I am not the only one in my town that has a problem with this pharmacy. Facebook is full of complaints. The pharmacy staff here is pathetic! read more

Turned away for a flu shot even though we are fully covered with medical insurance. Wouldn't help us because they wanted our Rx card. When I called back after speaking with my insurance company to question turning us away despite being covered tech was rude and dismissive. Save yourself the hassle and go to CVS! read more

Empty pharmacy , three miserable employees that couldn't answer a question or crack a smile working and it still took over 30 minutes for two antibiotic scripts.... This was my second try with Walgreens but I will never give their pharmacy my business again. read more

I waited at the drive thru, for a long while on 4 different days,trying to pick up my prescriptions, being g the only one there, they just ignore you and keep walking by, like your not there, then they wait on the people that just walk up to the window, totally ignoring you, as people walk up to the counter, expecting you to wait, well I waited for the last time, just transferred my prescriptions to another pharmacy, they discriminate because you don't walk in. They need to know not everyone can walk in, I'm unable to do that, if there was no drive thru, I would have to send my children to get my scripts. read more

It's amazing how incompetent a pharmacy tech could really be, maybe this is why they make $10 an hour and get fat behind the counter. I am from another state trying to fill a prescription my doctor's assistant says it's going through just fine however they're saying it's not. This pharmacy is OK with me being out of my medication because of their computers issues. I could contact the assistant but they can't even contact there helpdesk. A person like that would never make it in my industry if you couldn't problem solved yourselves. read more

Heavy set girl where you pick up prescriptions is rude and treats people with no respect. She has done this numerous times to me as well as my husband. Further more I have waited over 45min for a script only to be told they couldn't fill script till next day..Not one person came to tell me they couldn't fill it. I called to ask the cost of a medication that was called in for me. The pharmacy manager was the one who took the call and he was about as rude as they come and raised his voice to a holler to ask for my insurance card. I advised I wanted to know the price without having it charged to my insurance and he raised his voice louder and said he would not offer that information without my insurance card. It was inappropriate behavior and a consumer is entitled to knowing the cost without purchasing. read more
