The cashier tried to charge me for the small amount of ice, even though I was already purchasing drinks and using my own cup. When I questioned it, he started yelling at me, saying that ice is expensive and costs a lot of money. I told him I didn't agree, but instead of calmly explaining the store's policy, he continued raising his voice. Eventually, he told me to "get the F*** out" and never come back. It took every ounce of self-control not to respond the way I wanted to. This was, by far, the rudest convenience store experience I've ever had. Well, as my family will tell you, they love it when I'm wrong and the 7-11 in Princeton Junction is as clean and modern as any convenience outlet in central Jersey. Bright and spacious I might even consider eating something that originated here (when no one is looking of course.) Let's not go crazy, I'll start with coffee and gasoline and work my way up. The coffee in particular is a terrific eye opener as you watch with incredulity as the attendants raise the price of gas every ten minutes... but that's happening everywhere. McCaffrey's is going to have to step up their produce quality to keep my business. I cannot keep throwing food away. I don't have time to waste returning it either. I barely have time to shop.
