This is a rarity for me to write a review on Walgreen's but I had to speak up. People cut in line like nothing, with poor customer service. The wait times to pick up prescription always take such a long time, no matter when I come, poor girl working the drive through window, COVID testing and people in store picking up prescriptions just takes forever. Prices are always bunk and when you do find a good deal they make you walk all the way to the back of the store to a price Check yourself because they don't believe that your a math genius and that the customer is always right and I know my prices. They called the police on my friend for no reason. She wanted to buy some hair products, and the lady insisted she was stealing. My friend offered to let her check her bag, look at what she was buying, and see her money. But, the lady started to call 911, then told them to "cancel it". My friend called on of the girls that works there, and she said that the lady has done that to other black people before. read more

Do NOT COME HERE FOR COVID TESTING! There wait times are ridiculous there's no help in the pharmacy they expect 1 person to do all the work! Drive through covid testing is horrible been here waiting for 2 hours already and no cars have moved! My appt. Was at 10:15am its now 12pm, been here since 9:15am 1 hour early. There 10 cars in front of me and only 1 car has moved because they left. This place is horrible if there so short staffed they shouldn't be accepting testing here or atleast have a minimum. Pharmacist assistance tells me to come back 8:45 or 9pm after waiting since 4 for prescription pickup. He didn't mention they close @ 9. I get there @9:03 and tell me tough luck come back at 8 am the next day. Of course I was there @ 8 am but conveniently didn't open up the pharmacy until 8:10. A bunch of lazy workers who clearly doesn't care about my wife's pain control. Also, their automated system doesn't work well as I never received a text. Look at their overall rating. This location is rough... every time I go to pick up prescriptions the line is always super long, there's always someone in distress, the employees don't really seem to know what's going on and I keep hoping it's going to get better but it has not unfortunately. They give estimate pick up times and prescriptions are never ready on time. Also I think employees need additional training because there is usually one person working pharmacy who is knowledgeable and the other employees are lost which I think contributes to the long wait times. Positive note: Ligia is awesome and whenever I see that she is working it's a relief because she is very experienced and friendly! read more

I cannot believe that the pharmacy workers are operating as Walgreens employee's. Now let me be fair, I have been retrieving items and prescriptions there for over a year and there are at least 2 pharmacy employees that care. I have watched them from the drive thru answer the phone without saying anything and put it on hold, after hold, after hold without saying a word, I know this because I was the caller. I went in to print a couple pictures for my son's homework. This is the first time for me. I popped in my card and picked a few out. After asking for help before I finished, I realized how simple it really was. Nice to know. I now can think about printing out a bunch for some albums. The girls were friendly and very helpful. My family has several prescriptions at this location and we are at this Walgreens at least twice a month. They are kind, courteous and always very helpful. In the 10 plus years we have been going there, we have never experienced any problems caused by them. Definitely would not come here again to go to the pharmacy/drive thru for prescriptions. I've came back 3 times in the last month to get my medicine and all three times, I've waiting over an hour for just a pickup. Every time I've come, I ended up leaving because I don't have time to wait for this! There's only three people in line, 3!!! and no one is being helped, or reassured that someone will be with them soon. This Walgreens sucks!!!!! I know it's my fault for putting myself thru this and not changing pharmacies but come on!!!!!! Every time I come to pick up my prescriptions it's a minimum of 45 minutes. The customer service sucks. One of the last times I came it was inside with a 30 minute wait in line and another 15 minutes to have the help locate my prescription after receiving notification that it was ready. This time I ejected to go thru the drive thru because it moved quicker than inside. Now it was an even longer wait. Beware of fraud. The pharmacy will charge your insurance for medication that you don't receive. They will fill a medication and then try to fill it again a few days later. And when your insurance denies the second refill, they will deduct one of your refills. They are incompetent and a scam. Don't go there! read more

The Walgreens pharmacy at Sierra lakes is the worst and has the rudest personal. I have Been using walgreens for 15 years. This last year seems like it gets worst every month. If I could give the zero stars that would be justified. Every time we go it's at least an hour wait. Then this month i take the same prescription I take every month. The clown behind the window tells me he is only going to give me 1 weeks worth of my meds and if I take them this will void the rest of the prescription. Who does this? If I only needed a weeks worth the prescription would not be for 30 days. The the clown gets rude telling me just to pay instead of waiting for insurance!! This is the same prescription they have been filling since October 2020! The the tall clown tells me I need get my doctor to "Pre approve" the medication??? Taking prescriptions here for the longest time, and the service at the pharmacy is terrible!!! They repeatedly ask the same questions over and over! Questions that do not pertain to the medication being picked up should not be asked for a number of reasons. Employees not concerned with helping customers when making an inquiry when it comes to inventory on collectible items. We were told, in store, to our face, "we dont do stock checks so don't bother calling. We literally get a ton of calls daily and we won't check." Thank you short blonde lady at 1:20 p.m. on a Wednesday...I'm sure that what you were doing was way more important than helping customers or even mustering the strength to be polite in any event. Seems like carrying well sought after merchandise is more of a bother than a priviledge. Hopefully these companies take that into account when slotting "EXCLUSIVES". This seems to be the norm with Walgreen's, maybe 1 in 5 stores will actually go out of their way to help you. read more

I have NEVER had a pleasant drive-through experience at the Pharmacy at this Walgreens. The staff is incredibly slow and lacks urgency entirely. My average wait each time I've tried is over 20 minutes! Why have a drive through if you cannot provide efficient service? The staff is also unapologetic when you finally reach the window. This is only for the pharmacy. They are awful! The waits to even speak to anyone is a joke, whether it's by phone or in person. My 1 1/2 year old was prescribed an antibiotic 3 days ago and we JUST got her meds today. I wasn't able to get it because it was "out of stock" according to the Rxstatus texts. I had been trying to talk to someone for a while and I was finally able to get a hold of someone today. The person on the phone said "hold on. We may have a larger size bottle than the one we ordered". AND THEY DID! They had the medication sitting in their pharmacy this whole time, but waiting for a smaller bottle to come. I was even trying to get a hold of my daughter's doctor to try and switch pharmacies, but was unsuccessful. There's no excuse for this. I should know. I'm a pharmacy technician. These people had no clue what my baby was going through, and for them to delay care because of the size of bottle is unacceptable. After I finally got a hold of someone, it was ready in a half hour. DO NOT GO HERE!! The staff, especially the manager Deanna, is rude and not helpful. I was in the store for over an hour and was not greeted once. Then at check out, I was limited to purchasing 6 items of Garnier fructis products for no reason. Really? After I purchased my items and got home, I realized I was charged twice for two of my items. I go to the pharmacy (and I love it) here all the time but one incident there prompted me to write this review about the store. There was a price advertised. TWICE they didn't commit to the advertised price and they charged me the full price instead of the sale price. The second time I bought something from this store a young man rung me up and after I told him about the price change he changed the price and gave me attitude. Then when he changed the price the register didn't compute the sale change and the price still wasn't right and when I pointed it out he said "This is the price I don't know what you're trying to dispute." Wow. What a way to talk to a customer. After that I asked him if I could see the manager which he them proceeded to say "he's busy". I told him I could wait and just waited for the manager to show up. The manager agreed that the price was not correct and changed it for me. I would have given this encounter one star but because of the manager I added one on. Very disappointed that a staff member would try to argue with a customer like that. All because he couldn't do the math or bother to double check. The manager double checked and he even made sure I was well taken care of. read more

Wow... Yes inside the staff is very helpful and nice. However there is nothing fast about the drive thru. I dropped off my prescription yesterday. I was told that "the system " was down and it may take a few hours. When I finally received the text message alerting me that the prescription was ready, I called to confirm. I was told then that it was ready, but not ready since the system could not get ahold of my insurance carrier. ( Guess they couldn't call). I then called today at noon to check of it was ready .. yet... oh yes it's ready, sorry no one called you. If you want the worst pharmacy service you can get this is the place to come! I dropped off 2 rx here one they said they needed to order wouldn't not be in for 3 days I call the day they said it was supposed to be in and they said it never came and they didn't know why and that they have no idea when they will get some! They then suggest trying another Walgreens so I drove 30min away to another one to get the medicine to have them tell me it was some off the wall price, after fighting with them they said the medication needed a prior authorization which should have been done 3 days ago when I dropped it off and was never done! So I call back to this Walgreens to have the same fight with them over the phone and the woman acts oblivious to the issue and says let me get someone else to help you. I am then placed in hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on, I call back and the phone rings and rings !!!! read more

This Walgreens is terribly slow at anything... It takes forever to check out with regular purchases and the pharmacy is incredibly painful. If your sick and don't have an hour to stand in a line with other sick people go elsewhere! The whole store is always understaffed no matter what time of day!
