We love this neighborhood CVS. There's one inside Target as well but I prefer going to the bigger stand alone store. There are always coupons to use. I especially like getting photos printed here for so cheap. There has always been a code online offered each time I've printed. I also enjoy perusing their seasonal sales. I was able to snag some summer and Halloween clearance items. They were a steal! I like the new self-check out stations. It saves time! read more

Two years ago I gave CVS a 5 star rating, that was before everything went sideways. The next two years was a nightmare, they said my Doctor did not exist, even though they been filling his prescriptions for the previous 3 years. After I switch pharmacies CVS continued to bill Medicare for prescriptions I had been getting from another pharmacy. They claimed to have run-out of many but still continued to bill Medicare. Their record keeping was incompetent and basically a disaster. read more

After giving this location far too many chances, I'm finally switching pharmacies. The customer service here is consistently rude and unhelpful. Long wait times are the norm--even when I've been notified that my prescription is "ready," I often arrive only to find it's not. There have been multiple occasions where I received fewer pills than prescribed, and when I called to ask about it, the pharmacist actually hung up on me. Even more frustrating, they've repeatedly failed to correctly bill my insurance--using the wrong code month after month. As a result, I have to call ahead every time just to ensure my prescription is ordered and covered, only to be told my insurance won't pay (when it actually does, if properly billed). I was prescribed a medication in May and didn't receive it until June due to this same ongoing issue. It's completely unacceptable and shows a clear lack of accountability. The drive-thru has now been closed for over five months with no communication or solution offered. Inside, the lines are long and slow-moving, and the staff often seem overwhelmed and disorganized. If you choose to fill your prescriptions at this location, be prepared to make repeated phone calls, double-check everything, and still risk not getting what you need on time. Normally a pleasant experience with a few complaints over the last 2 years. Today really upset me though. I'm in line and I'm never in a hurry btw. I'm next and I'm in deep text convo. All of the sudden I hear the pharmacist in the back yell. "He's to busy on his phone , so he can wait " Really you can yell that from the back of the pharmacy, but when you were 5 ft away from me you couldn't say "excuse me me sir, are you ready". So your first instinct is to try to embarrass me in front of the whole pharmacy. It is rude to be on your phone when at the register but when you're in line patiently waiting, I believe it's fair to be on your phone. Please correct me if I'm wrong. The young lady at the counter at the pharmacy was so curt/rude. She needs a day off or training in how to deal with customers who are dealing with medical challenges and may not understand all the ins and outs of your process when it comes to prescription pick up and using the CVS app. She was in such a hurry to slam the prescription bag in my hand and let me know she was wanting to move the line along that she failed to consider how her lack of customer service skills affects the reputation of her employer. There were two cars ahead of me. Pharmacist said she couldn't fill my prescription because she promised other people to get theirs done by 8. It was 717pm. I asked if she would try to get it done and she had 40 minutes and she said she couldn't. Maybe if I said it was for my child she would have promised me the same thing. Where do I start? My son went to CVS in Fontana on Summit (not the one in Target) and have prescriptions transferred to them 2 days ago!! One was an antibiotic which was NEEDED ASAP for an abscess tooth! 24 hours later NOTHING. I go down to CVS in Fontana on Summit again and the counter person said she would put in another request WITH an attitude, but will not guarantee how long it would take. I reminded her it's already been 24 hours! I called today and the system would only allow a person to leave a voicemail. Now it's been 48 hours!! They returned my call and pretended not to hear me on the phone. This is bullshit and unethical. We called the doctor and had them issue a new prescription to a different CVS. The pharmacy staff member that took my prescription lacks professionalism and clearly should not be working there. She charged me full price for a medication because she didn't want to take the time to call my insurance to confirm coverage. The price was $152 and contacting my insurance and working with another staff member, the real cost was $5. I can only imagine what this experience would be like for someone who could not afford a regular prescription. When I talked to the supervisor, she was appalled that I was charged full price and acknowledged that the staff member was wrong. Her interaction made me know that this is not the first time this staff member has been a problem. Nonetheless, I will not be returning to this pharmacy. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. This cvs has the worst customer service. They do not fill your prescriptions timely. I had to call them to fill a prescription that was increased in frequency so I needed more. The pharmacist said they would fill it and it should be ready the next day. Turns out the pharmacist didn't do that. I called back 4 days later to have them return my call and the same pharmacist hung up on me. This is people's lives. I also had a previous experience with another pharmacist who filled my prescription with the wrong dose. Stronger than what was ordered. I could've had adverse effects if I didn't check because the pill looked bigger with different numbers. I reported it and no follow up was done because it was the main pharmacist that made this mistake. read more

This is ridiculous! I came to the drive thru with my dog to give him a little outing and the drive thru is closed way early, not sure why. It's 93 degrees out and I'm not leaving him in the car to go inside. But then I thought I can prepay on the app, run in and grab and go home. Nope. The app doesn't let me do that anymore. So I drive all the way home, drop off my dog and return to the store inside for a VERY long line. I'm so annoyed. read more

I don't necessarily have an issue with the store. I have an issue with the CVS brand Glucose Tablets (grape) because they did not raise my glucose level during a diabetic emergency. After taking 4 tablets my glucose only rose from 58 to 60 so I had to eat an orange and some noodles immediately to bring it up to 70! So if you are diabetic, please be aware of this brand because it may or may not work for you. I contacted the store to let them know and they told me to contact Corp headquarters because these glucose tablets were purchased over the counter. read more

This is the worst location I've ever been to. The drive thru is never open. They close for lunch and are so understaffed, the line is always out the door no matter the time of day you come. Only one person working the pick up counter. Only reason I come here is because it's the only location that has the medication I need. These people who work here are horrible. I was sitting in the drive-through for 15 mins at 7:15pm, and nobody came to the window. There was a line behind me, and these people completely ignored us. I had to go inside, and that's an inconvenience. The drive thru doesn't close until 7:30 pm, so I don't understand why they are ignoring the people outside. On 3/9/2025 I arrived at the CVS pharmacy at 5:58pm, not knowing they close at 6pm. I spoke with Luis P. and told him I was there to pick-up my prescriptions. He looked at me and knowledge me. He then walked away. He came back and said, we are closed. I looked at my watch and I told Luis it's 6pm now, I was here before closing, can you please help me. He walked away. Another person from the back starts yelling, "we are closed, you need to leave", multiple times. Then Helen came over, said they were closed. I asked if at minimum can they transfer to another CVS near by that is open until 9pm. Helen said NO, they are closed and we can't do that. I ended up calling the pharmacy on Kenyon way. They were extremely helpful, pulled the prescriptions and took care of my needs. As they were open until 9pm, after Helen told me they closed at 6pm. If you have a choice, don't use this pharmacy. Ugh, really? Worst experience with a cashier EVER. Tila was rude and argumentative. Upon entering the store I was greated by her as she was arguing with 2 other assiciates one of whom was a store leader. They ignored me as I stood at the counter to ask a question. When I was finally approached, Tila proceeded to "apologize" by telling me about how difficult a new trainee was. Fairly inappropriate. None of my concern. I came to return an unopened item that I purchased at a different CVS location. Tila immediately told me "we don't do that if it isn't from here". When I asked why she said just gruffly said she'd make an exception. When I asked why it was an exception she didn't answer but simply said "I told you I'd make an exception, I'm taking care of you". I simply want to know if this normal. Should I be worried about shopping at CVS for fear I'd be stuck with a product I can't use. If so, I'll stick to Target and Walmart. Thank you. read more

So I have been a loyal customer to this CVS for over 10 years. The pharmacist Lindsey and Tech Wanda greet me by name. Sadly the customer service level from the other associates has dropped. I had a medication with 3 refills available. When I tried to refill I was told I can't because the prescription had expired. Ok, seeing it was Friday at 5pm I went to Urgent Care because I was almost out of my medicine, Urgent Care Doctor sent a new prescription. When I called to verify, I was told my insurance had declined the order. Said I was over my limit. Seemed odd. Called back to talk to the pharmacist and she said my insurance wants me to mail order this prescription. I asked if the Tech had submitted this properly, because I had been on the same medication for 2 years with no problems. It was submitted correctly. What are my options, because I am almost out. Pay $677, but they didn't have it in stock. No thanks. She actually told me I can't help you and hung up. I called Costco in Fontana and the CASH price was a lot cheaper, but they also didn't have it. The difference was that this person helped me locate the medication at another Costco and told me what the steps were to complete the transfer. I called the other Costco and went to pick my medicine expecting to pay $300. The cashier told me $15. Costco still had my insurance on file as was able to get the medicine approved by my insurance. So 2 people at this CVS Lied to me. I'm so done with this store. read more

I feel I need to write this review today because I ordered online on March 29, 2021. Delivery date said June 2. No delivery made. Called customer service, was told it was ready to get picked up by UPS, but NOT today. So I ended up going into the store, bought my items, no cashier at front, there was a self checkout, did that, my care pass didn't scan, I asked for help from a sales associate, she tells a Justin, who's a few feet away from me, putting stuff on a shelf, that I needed help, he tells me I need to brighten my screen on my phone, without leaving his place. I brightened my screen, still didn't work, found on the screen to put in my phone number, finished my transaction by MYSELF, no help from staff!!! This is my normal cvs I come to for the last 10 years. Never any problem until today when I decided to brave the Corona virus and venture out with my 3 kids to pick up very essential items. Unfortunately not everyone has the luxury of child care and I was willing to spend more money to stay away from the crowds at Target. Girl in the front was very sweet and asked if I needed help as I looked for medicine. I walked to the back to grab other items we needed when my kids saw some big bouncy balls. I told them they can have one and we proceeded to walk down the aisles with them keeping their hands in their pockets as I instructed. My son who dropped the ball and chased after it was then yelled at from across the store by the "manager" whom I believe is named Justin. I stepped back and said don't yell at him he dropped the ball and is picking it up. He came charging towards us very aggressively and yelled at me that I'm not allowed in the store with my kids meanwhile coming as close as he can to me to intimidate me. I said "Do you think I want to be here with my kids and please back away" and he continued to yell at me and told me I need to leave. I said no problem for fear of our safety and walked to the front where I asked his name and left. I have never experienced anything like this! Especially to have a man chase down and get in a mother's face with her 3 children! I am not one for confrontation but this man was out of control! I have filed a complaint against him with corporate and waiting to hear back from the district manager. I asked them to pull up video footage and will be updating this review after I speak with them! In the meantime if this man continues to work at this location, I will take my business elsewhere and I suggest you should too. read more
