During COVID 19 pandemic, the clerk at the pharmacy counter had his mask down and not covering his face. He then reached and held my phone so that he could see the coupon. He instructed me to leave my phone on the counter which who knows how many other (potentially sick) people's phones and hands have touched. I placed a pick up online and when I arrive to the store no one was at the counter. A worker looked up at me (from a nearby isle) while I was the only one waiting at the photo counter and then looked away proceeding to do what he was doing. I had to approach him to ask for help and for the first two minutes he totally ignored me by continuing to do his unpacking while I stood and watched waiting for an answer, finally he walked over and asked what I wanted and then asked multiple times what the item was that I purchased. I have no idea what the name of it is but I had my order # which is ultimately all he needed to know. This employee named Kevin had no idea what the procedure was for handing out pick up items he also seemed extremely confused when I spelled my name out for him 3 times, he was also unable to find the item for a very long time even though there was not an overwhelming amount to look through. Another woman came in and suddenly he was trying to take/help her instead of helping me to which she refused as it was odd. Kevin seemed incredibly unenthusiastic and did not seem to know the proper way to handle this transaction causing myself and the other customer to have to wait over 15 minutes for him to find my one item. He also seemed very frustrated that I wouldn't tell him what I purchased and refused to look at my order number. This is the first time I've been to this store and hopefully the last. Shocking how long this pick up took despite being the only customer picking up! Also its shocking how nosey and rude this employee was. read more

I'd give this pharmacy -99 stars if I could. Worst. Pharmacy. Ever. I switched to this pharmacy just a few weeks ago. I was hopeful that their longer hours would be more convenient. From the start, the screwups starting coming. First, they told me I had to call my old pharmacy to "transfer" my prescriptions. Once that was done, they told me they didn't have enough of one of my meds to fully fill my prescription. This required that I get a new prescription from my doctor. I thought that was resolved. But, today I went to pick up a prescription and they said they couldn't give it to me because it had "timed out." What? Only after I started complaining did they offer to call the insurance company. Why didn't they start with that?? Terrible staff, and even worse managers and training, is why. The staff seems really unhelpful. Either high, or just really dull. They don't seem to care, or even care to understand the problems. At all times there is a wait. Most of the time, there is a line of people waiting. The best part of this pharmacy is the bagel store which shares the plaza. AVOID THIS PHARMACY! Completely incompetent. read more

The photo center is always open as long as the store is open (24 hours) or unless the photo system is being updated. There are also two machines. The workers are always friendly and check up on you if you need help. There's a CVS that is more convenient for me (on corner of Queens Blvd and 67th Avenue). But their machines manually shut down at 10pm because workers there tell me that they don't want to be bothered by questions and issues from customers at night. Meanwhile they are fully staffed and open for 24 hours. I highly recommend this Walgreens. I am personally a CVS guy but this Walgreens is the place to go for photos. read more

I love Walgreens and Duane Reade, not a CVS girl. But this location is not convenient for me, I just happen to have a prescription here. Earlier, I was thinking to myself that I will get prescriptions from CVS now on cause of the convenient location. anyWho I called in for a refill last night and I was told it will be ready. I gave them plenty of time and went here today to pick it up and I was told that they don't have this medication in stock they need to order for me I need to come back in couple of days. I was not happy I was very very very not happy walked here in this heat now I go home and come back again in two days. Hey Walgreen pharmacist, when your counting pills and if you don't have enough to fill the bottle don't be a lazy jerk and call the client to let them know the situation. I'm a practitioner and after my experience with the staff mostly made of Internes who lack basic knowledge and a pharmacist who is to busy giving flu shots, not worth the long wait. Maybe better management is needed. Go to CVS it's not far and they have the basic understanding of customer service. I would not even recommend this place to my patients. It actually has a lot of products and there's rarely a long wait. But the pharmacists are nasty. My father in law, who is in his 70s and isn't fluent in English, often goes there to pick up his medication. The pharmacists are very rude, impatient, and sometimes tell him he already picked it when he hadn't. Sometimes I'd go with him and watch from afar just to see what was going on and I can't believe that there are people who behave like this in NYC. Open 24 hours. I usually go to this location on off hours so then I can have my pick of parking spots on their private lot. Parking is hard during the day but after 10pm, the parking lot is empty. The sales on their circulars are pretty decent. I prefer the pricing at Walgreen over any other pharmacy. It's just cheaper. They need to just turn down their heat at this location. Worst pharmacy service ever ! Long lines and prescriptions are never ready. Today I showed up to 7 people on line and one person working the register. After waiting 20 minutes they said my prescription wasn't ready and would take another 20 minutes. I expressed that I couldn't wait and they told me over an hour ago that it would be ready in 20 minutes. I called for the store manager who didn't see an issue with the fact that 11 people were now on line with one person working. After everyone in line agreeing with me they called an associate who wasn't familiar with pharmacy to help customers. There's never parking in this parking lot and it's mad hard to find any street parking in this part of Forest Hills. This Walgreens is pretty empty whenever I'm there but even so, their cashiers are extremely slow when handling a customer. You can top up your Virgin Mobile accounts here. This is the worst Walgreens I've ever used. There is no department that functions properly and the line for checkout is never less than 10 minutes. Today, for example, I went to pick up a prescription after being notified by text and phone that it was ready, and was informed that I'd have to wait "a bit" because the pharmacist needed to approve it. I then decided to purchase a birthday card, but after waiting on two lines--both not moving (even a simple return appears to create a problem)--gave up and left empty-handed. Last November, the photo staff gave me an envelope of someone else's photos, and I was stuck at my mom's birthday with no gift. Someone wrote call ahead before you go to pick up your Scripp. Don't bother they just have the worst system I have ever experienced. They sent my wife an email that her scrip was ready in the AM. It is 5:04 in the evening an it is not ready. This is the third time in two months that this has happened. Shame on then, I gave them one star because they are open 24 hours.
