Got an automated text that prescription ready on Sunday. Came Monday to pick it up.Only to be told it was not ready because they have not received confirmation from the doctor. Came back the next day, waited in the drive thru 10 minutes.They had to make me wait again for 15 minutes coz they still to prepare for it. The staff was unfriendly, lacks customer skills. I have been a customer of Walgreens for a decade. You get used to the poor service and the mistakes from the pharmacy. But this branch seems to take pride in terrible customer relations. Approaching the pharmacy you are greeted with.....nothing. Three people behind the counter and 8 minutes before I was acknowledged. Twenty minutes to get a prescription (they had called it was ready to be picked up). Always look what they give you before you leave the counter with them. They gave me my prescriptions but included another's prescription. Terrible service and almost malpractice. Be very careful at this location. They have terrible moral and it shows. read more

Gawd just don't understand this location. Even though this Walgreens is just one block from me I usually go to the one on Figarden Loop but they didn't have my pills in stock so we called this location at 10:50 am. They said they had them. So I get here around 11:30 or so because I know they go to lunch and close down. So the gentleman says to come back at 1:00. I said no problem. I come back at 1:50. I figure plenty of time. The young lady at the register tells me they are still working on it and it'll be a few minutes. Now this is the second time they are different from other locations. I get Vicodin for my back and hip pain. This location asks for picture ID and they make a copy of my Drivers License. This time it's 3 1/2 hours for 1 prescription and I don't have it yet. They definitely are not as busy as the Loop. Not even close. 2:09 I have my prescription. Amen. read more

This is about the pharmacy at the West and Herndon store. At least on 6-7 occasions they have told us over the phone that a med is ready only to drive 4 miles to be told it isn't. They are rude, Michelle and Dalton, the pharmacist. They in addition, skim off the top of your medication. COUNT YOUR PILLS!! Dishonest thievery and one lie after another going on there! If I could give a zero I would. This pharmacy is so incompetent. They gave my granddaughter medication in a bottle that was supposed to be a suspension, but it was still in powder form! When we took it back and complained we were treated so rudely. The tech slammed the new bottle on the counter and said, " it wasnt the wrong medicine, we just forgot to mix it!" The drive up window for RX's is a joke--theres only been 1 lane for like 8 months & my most recent visit I was only second in line but had to wait 18 minutes to finally get to that window because instead of asking people to come in and work things out they try to work it all out at the drive-thru which is ridiculous! This Walgreens is great. It definitely deserves extra points because I was able to get my son's required TDap shot here, even though it cost a bit it was worth the time I saved at the doctor. It is usually pretty clean here too and my husband really loves the "As Seen on TV" collection (which is pretty good). I also like that it is so close and convenient! read more

The pharmacy is very unorganized and it shows in their service. Every time I go to this pharmacy they give me trouble every time I try getting medication. They make my doctor send multiple E-Prescriptions for the same thing. & blame my doctor. Come to find out they are just filing my information under wrong file. read more

Be very wary of the pharmacy here. The girl in charge is very nice and helpful, but the problem is with the older Asian pharmacist. 1. He doesn't speak English (or Spanish) 2. He dispensed me medication that I didn't need and advised me it did something completely different then he said aka it could have really hurt me had I taken it 3 he refused to dispense medication for my mothers migraines because it was medication for pain...aren't migraines pain? It would be 1 star but the pharmacy manager "tahn" was able to resolve my complaint swiftly and effectively. I suggest finding a more competent pharmacy while the Asian man is at this one read more

It's just ok. Not my first choice, but I live close so I come in occasionally. Got me insurance so started getting my prescriptions here this year. The pharmacy has improved over this year, but it still lives up to some of the other bad reviews. Staff in the rest of the store are sparse, but friendly. Herndon/West Walgreens = BAD Manager Customer Service - Closed Early (Satellite cell phone clocks don't lie about the time) 2 stars because there was a nice employee, Danny, who was trying to help me. Otherwise only 1 star for the manager who locked the doors BEFORE the 10:00 P.M. closing time and wouldn't let me in to buy medication for my sick daughter! I knew exactly what I wanted and had called before I left to make sure it was in stock. I had to drive out of my way to Fig Garden/Brawley Walgreens. Went there this afternoon with my son and saw that they marked their easter candy down to 70% off. I picked up about 10 items and went to the register. The cashier rang up my candy and they all came up regular price. I told the cashier that it was clearly marked as 70% off in the aisle with all the Easter leftovers. The cashier called the manager who is just a few feet away at the cosmetic counter and then told me that the candy I got was regular shelf candy and was not part of the sale. So I asked the cashier why would you have this along with the Easter candy that was clearly marked 70% off in the Easter Aisle... False advertisement.
