I have been going to this pharmacy for quite some time so it genuinely hurts me to write this review. However, as someone who is VERY mentally unwell atm I have decided to share my recent experience. I have been on medication for generalized anxiety/depression/OCD for practically my entire life. Recently I had a bad reaction to a medication and was finally able to get an emergency visit albeit from another doctor in residence. They sent a new prescription as well as a refill of an older one Friday afternoon. If I had been unable to I was preparing myself for a visit to the emergency room if need be. It was because of these circumstances that I was absolutely outraged that a pharmacist at this location denied me my medication because the prescriptions they received were from two different doctors. For the life of me I cannot possibly understand why a pharmacist would want an explanation for this discrepancy when not only were both prescriptions sent at the same time, but that it was pretty clear that the two doctors were from the same hospital as well due to both having the same address. VERY few people even have a "regular" doctor they visit all the time because of how difficult it is to get an appointment last minute. In fact, a person is most likely to visit the same hospital and/or office with multiple doctors in practice at the same time or send a message to their doctor requesting a refill despite only having a pending appointment. Furthermore, this was not a medication that required identification of any kind and I had two other medications that somehow warranted zero comments. The disappointing irony that I almost accidentally overdosed on one of the other medications I was given without complaint due to the fact that no one informed me that taking more than a certain required dose could put me at risk of a heart attack is not lost on me. A pharmacist is not a doctor. They do not know the circumstances of your situation, why you were given this medication in the first place, or what you are currently going through. If there are no issues with a certain type of medication causing certain side effects, symptoms, or anything of that nature I find it incredibly unnecessary to be heckled in this manner about what is essentially a non-issue. This entire situation sent me spiraling so hard that I had to have quite a few emergency conversations with my psychologist and was sent timed messages in order to check in on my mental state every 10 minutes. This isn't even something that I can avoid once inside of an emergency room or safe space as I would still require a pharmacist to prepare it! The fact that this happened during a Friday afternoon like I previously mentioned made this entire scenario infinitely worse. I know this sounds hyperbolic, over dramatic, etc, but this medication is responsible for keeping me alive. I will no longer be visiting this pharmacy because I simply do not have the privilege of taking any chances on unreliable or inconsistent services that require unnecessary, personal information like this. If you are in the same boat I highly recommend that you do the same. read more

The employees here are always friendly and amazingly diplomatic with difficult customers at late hours.

This is the SLOWEST Walgreens location. Do not come here unless you have an hour to wait in the pharmacy line.

It took over a week to get 1 RX filled. They didn't even notify me. The app is lousy. Communication is below par.

Walgreens is mostly known for their pharmacy and I'm sure its their main income driver. But this review talks about the rest of the store that most folks gloss by. I came in looking for a Fed Ex box to drop off a package I had. I was directed to go to the photo "department" to get assisted. Unsurprisingly, there was no staff there. So the register lady called in for "Ericca" over the PA system. After a few moments, no staff approached the counter. I noticed behind me that there was an associate that was stocking shelves, not tending to me and another patron. I thought to myself that this wasn't a big deal, as she is working in another department. After a few minutes. Ericca came huffin and puffin behind the counter of the photo department. She said "Breanna, come on over here so you know how to do FedEx". You can tell Ericca was hot and bothered and pawned off the responsibilities to the staff stocking the shelves. She briefly did a crash course on how to scan in Fed Ex and quickly left as she came in. As she turned the corner. She muttered audibly enough for me to hear " Tryinna eat mah food..." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Is Ericca trying to let me know that I am bothering her as she is on lunch? Because that's EXACTLY what it sounds like and how she portrayed it. Is it really my fault Ericca? Am I suppose to come at times when you are not on a lunch break? Does your displeasure suggest that I personally tried to ruin your lunch? Honey, I'm just trying to drop off a box! No money transaction needed. Know your role Ericca! And by the looks of it, you're probably on your 5th lunch break of the day #ifyouknowwhatImean. ********************************************* Oh and Breanna is a pharmacy technician as her badge indicates. Why they got a LICENSED PROFESSION stocking shelves?! Walgreens... really? Trying to cut back on hours for staff that you got to pull out pharmacy techs to stock shelves? This place is a hot mess. Did covid testing at my local Walgreens. Email information excellent. I'd done sample at another the day before. Another Walgreens. Emails were different. Customer service excellent at the other Walgreens. Customer service excellent at this Walgreens. I arrived on time. I was helped promptly, kindly, thoughtfully. As I already mentioned but mention again. Customer service excellent. You do the covid testing in the drive thru. Easy to set up appt. Easy to conduct the gathering of sample. Thank you Walgreens and staff making this so pleasant and easy. read more

I had an issue with being charged more than the receipt showed. They charged me for an item and cash back but absolutely refused to give me the cash back that I paid for. Instead the manager (Utah) implied that my card was hacked or that it was my banks issue. On top of that they even opted to call the police on me (a black man) instead of work out a resolution. I will never ever go back to this store and I recommend anyone to stay away especially people of color. read more

This review is really for the eyelashes! They are awesome due to the coronavirus, I can't get my extensions so I was down to no lashes :( but I didn't want to go back to strips. These were perfect because they give the individual look with the ease of a "strip like application " as I wppli d 4 on each and was happy with the look. I didn't use the 5 pieces supplied for each eye but that's just preference. Next time I may use them all. Go buy and try! Stay quarantine cute ladies! ‍ read more

This Walgreens has all the essentials - cosmetics & grooming products, cleaning products, cards & gifts, a small grocery selection which includes beer & wine, photo, and over-the-counter medicines. The photo section is my favorite thing about this location. Within minutes of placing my print order online, I receive an email saying my order is ready for pick-up. I once even submitted an order of nearly 400 wedding photos, and they were ready within a couple of hours - very cool! The pharmacy recently expanded their hours until 9 p.m., which is much more convenient than their precious 6 p.m. closing time. However, the employees in the pharmacy section are not incredibly efficient. I tend to have to wait for them to prepare my pharmacy order, even if my doctor has called it in at least a while in advance. Because of the location at S. Post Oak & Willowbend (nice neighborhoods to the east & west, not-so-nice neighborhoods further south) the customers can range from wealthy housewife to the occasional shady wanderer, so keep that in mind when planning your visit. If you need a 24-hour pharmacy there's one just about a mile away at N. Braeswood and Chimney Rock. read more

The pharmacist, Dr. Tete, provides possibly the worst service I've ever experienced, which is impressive considering I've shopped at a Dillard's before. He was rude, cut me off and spoke over me, and was unpleasant and unprofessional from the jump. After our brief yet unforgettable exchange, I promptly transferred all of my Rx's to a competitor. read more

Not Worst Walgreens on the planet (Pharmacy) But ..alas it is MY Walgreens.. they never have I need in pharmacy in stock and take WAY too long to fill script. But they are sweet and try real hard. The store is pretty good and stays stocked but it is Def. Not like the really NICE Walgreens (Westheimer Galleria) that has all the High end cosmetics available and the latest gadgets available.. BUT, It is in Walking distance to my home and I LOVE that part! If it was refreshed , I would give it 3 stars! As it stands 2 1/2 + stars. read more
