This store is ridiculous First on my way home from lunch with a friend - I stopped to pick up a bottle of wine and was told that I smelled of alcohol and they would not sell it to me. Second - I always buy prepaid Apple cards for my kids - one five hundred and one four hundred and all of a sudden they tell me I'm only allowed one a day! The Customer Service is shockingly awful. I tried to return an item that was unopened with a receipt, but it was purchased in Everett and they would not take it. They were very, very rude about it. The promotions listed in the store are deceiving in that they're in some kind of code and they insist that you download their app in order to get the discount which I don't even think is legal. I am having to drive 15 miles to return a product I bought at another Walgreens and I'm not shopping at Walgreens again. Pharmacy area is FILTHY. Dirty plexiglass with smudges and spray droplets and a layer of dust all over like they've never been cleaned. Zero customer service skills. This review for the pharmacy... They are always friendly... and getting my prescription the day the day says it will be ready is almost never something I can count on. I'm not sure if it's isolated to myself but it seems like I will get a text telling me my prescription is being filled and I get here hours later and it's not ready. Today I called and was on hold for 20 minutes around 12pm. (it's lunchtime, I understand that they are busy ) for an employee to pick up and then tell me it will be ready shortly. It's now 6pm and I walk in to be told they were uncertain if they carried what I needed. I told them I had spoken with someone a few hours ago and confirmed they do. I asked if I came in at 6pm if it would be ready. They said it would. I got here just after 6pm and they had not filled it. The customer behind me reported the same thing "supposed to be ready" he had to leave because he needed to pick it up and go and it wasn't ready This isn't the first time that this has happened. I've regularly had to come in for a prescription after being notified that it was ready only to arrive and tell me that they were out of medication that I have. I understand mistakes happen, but the frequency of which they happen is borderline unbelievable. As nice as some of the employees are, they just don't seem to know what's going on, which is extremely frustrating. I'm not one to ever leave a review even with what I would consider to be a negative experience, but the frequency of which negative experience has happened at this Location is astounding read more

I placed an order to have 3 prescriptions refilled on the 3rd of January, got notification to contact my doctor to get the refills ordered. After contacting the Doctor they sent Walgreens the refill. I get a notification that there is a problem with my insurance, they keep using an automated calling system every couple of days to inform me the status of the prescciptions saying the same thing. I try to talk to them only to have to go thru this long ass nmenu and end up getting hung up on. When I do finally get thru they tell me they don't have the ndrugs in stock. They "order" the drugs only to not get them when they say they will. Finally get a message telling me one of the 3 prescriptions is ready for pickup. The other 2 they have a partial, 1 is enough for 5 days, the other is enought for 6 days (3 pills at $37.00). Then 3 days later another script is rready for pickup (the one I got 3 pills for). I ask them when the other one is going to be ready nand they tell me the can give me a 5 day supply (10 pills) until they get them in. I was able to get 30 pills, a 15 day supply out of a 90 day prescription for a total of 20 day supply. This has been going on for 17 days since I requested the refills. Had a coupon for a discount on the script that was ready and they refused to process it saying they already billed my insurance. Sabrina gave me an attitude when I stated to her that this was going on for 17 days, I told her that I was going to transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy and she said "There's plenty of others in Lake Stevens". I am officially done with Walgreens in Lake Stevens and am going elsewhere, maybe I will get better service from them. read more

The 1 star is for the helpful staff only. The store is a mess. The sale and clearance tags are haphazardly stuck on shelves. I grabbed a few things and was so excited to find them on clearance then get to the register and find they're not on sale. I read the clearance label and it was the right product but a different version than what they had. It's like bait and switch. If the other pharmacies in town weren't so horrible I wouldn't come here at all. read more

I only come in to pick up orders from the photo center, I don't shop here but the photo center is hands down the best of the best! So easy, amazing quality products. I have never had an issue, I do lots of photo prints, photo foam board signs and even invitations. Always done same day and within 2 hours. Usually it's much faster than that. Highly impressed and honestly I can't find anywhere closer or better to me so I drive out of my way to get here. Can't say enough things about how awesome they are ! read more

I had awful customer service today at Walgreens by all, but specifically Sabrina. She has provided me great customer service in the past, but was condescending, unhelpful, and acted as if I was an inconvenience. I know that they are getting a lot of new customers from Rite Aide and they are overwhelmed. That is NOT my problem. That is a YOU problem. But, I did get a case number and someone else will be reaching out to me. Sabrina, I know that you are not corporate, as you stated to me with your sarcasm. You were rude, not only to me, but the woman behind me that needed a vaccine, and spoke to your colleague so rudely and disrespectfully. Sabrina, you passed me off to two coworkers and still had to come back and fix the issue (which ultimately didn't work as we know). You then proceeded to talk about ME in front of customers, to the point that I could hear you through the glass. You know how to treat people. If you cannot do that anymore, please look elsewhere for your sake (like is too short to be miserable at a job) and for the sake of vulnerable people that you know how to provide care and compassion to. read more

Every time I call to see if my meds are ready I'm on hold for 20 or more minutes and when I finally get to talk to someone they don't even have the correct insurance so if I were to drive and pickup the prescription it wouldn't even be ready. Terrible. I have had to call multiple times to check up on prescriptions that got "stuck in the system." I have been waiting 40 minutes for my flu shot appt that I was early for and was just told that they're going to "try" to fit me in before their lunch break. Would not ship a 25 lb steel tractor part via fed ex ground. Horrible associate and manager that was apparently consulted in back room. It's just a chunk of steel, no lives animals or chemicals. She showed me their restrictions they abide by and it stated 55lbs was the limit but insisted my item was too heavy and the driver would likely not pick it up. What a joke. I had a premade label from the ebay return, all she had to do was scan and put it in the pile? She directed me to a Post Net in Snohomish which is really no different, still not a true fed ex store. Fed Ex ground drivers are required to handle packages as large as 150 lbs. read more

I took this Saturday as a personal holiday from work to get the updated covid booster for the first appointment I can get, I have two family members undergoing treatment for cancer and I need to be protected around them. I was sent an email confirmation friday afternoon and when I got to the store the pharmacy was closed. I asked the clerk at the front end what was going on and she said sorry but there's nothing I can do. So I burned a paid day off I could have used in the future and instead spent all day calling around to pharmacies to try and find a place that accepted walk ins to no available. This is for the Pharmacy. I drove up to the drive through 5 minutes after closing. I was right behind someone being helped and had no one behind me. I needed to go in to get my son his eyedrops because he contracted pink eye. When I pulled up to the window, they would not help me. They told me that they already pulled the till. They must have raced to pulling the till as soon as the person in front of me drove away. Now, my son is crying because he's in so much pain. 5 FUCKING minutes and they refused to help me. Tracie at this store went above and beyond to help me out, alert me to the coupons I could use, and call me to let me know what she did, how I may want to fix some of my photos that I "didn't have to pay for" and that if she weren't there when I came back to pick them up, she'd have them all ready to go. I appreciate all the employees that work in this photo department, I come here rather than going to Rite Aid or Bartell every time! read more

This location is horribly understaffed and unhelpful. Not only will they not answer calls despite being on hold for nearly an hour they picked up, I heard them talking about customers and complaining about hearing life story from customer and not caring, then they put me on hold and hung up. Completely unprofessional. I continued to call and try and speak with representative to confirm information. Another 30+ mins on hold and then hung up on due to lunch break. I understand that they are short staffed, but the long holding, talking about customers while the phone was on (when they picked up the call and left the phone on a counter from the sound of it) and other customers could hear...then hanging up on me after making my way through the queue for nearly two hours today...It is hard to be sympathetic or understanding. Will be looking for a new pharmacy (which I am sure the staff will appreciate as they are not able to service the customers they have and are obviously overwhelmed). read more

I've lived in Lake Stevens for a few years now. I choose Walgreens for it's convenient pharmacy drive thru. I've never had a problem with this store. My prescriptions are automatically refilled, a robot phones me to tell me that they are ready and I pick them up through the drive through window. When it comes to the pharmacy - I give them a ONE because it's the lowest I can give. DON'T EVER go through the drive through to pick up your medication. I was stuck in the line for 32 minutes after I got off work and couldn't back out and ended up not getting my prescription. It was HOT outside and the pharmacy took their dead time to serve the two cars in front of me without telling them to move up and park so the next customer could be helped. THEN ONE WEEK later they just called me to say I left my debit card there (I assume it is because I told them of their horrible service while waiting in the line 32 minutes) I had to cancel my debit card thinking it was lost elsewhere and only moments ago did they call to tell me my bank card was there AND told me that my emergency prescription was there in which I already had picked it up! DUMB DUMS !!! Also, When I was at the pharmacy drive through before they told me to wait at the window AS LONG AS ANOTHER car did not come up behind me. Switched from local Bartels to this store when it opened. Staff has always been good to deal with and they're always good about setting expectations on time to do work needed. Funny how someone can take a picture of an empty lobby for a location that has a drive thru on the back wall - which is always busy - and bash a location for "this is how busy they are when it was MY TURN in an empty line". But such is our society now days... all about me, myself and only I. I have to echo the other reviewers who rave about this Walgreens. They are so friendly and helpful here. Unfortunately, I have to take a lot of prescriptions so I go here A LOT. I adore Mariana in the pharmacy. She's always so sweet. But everyone in the store is very nice. They greet you when you walk in, will readily help you find things you can't find, if something's not on the shelf they never mind looking in the back for it (and have always had it there for me - usually sale items,) and they don't even get cranky when it comes to coupons. You do have to watch prices a little, sometimes things ring up wrong, but they have always corrected them on the spot. This place knows what it means to offer customer service. Much more so than the other drug store options in town. read more

Horrible pharmacy service! Tried to get pneumonia vaccine they told me to request script from doctor (not needed). After getting script and the pharmacy tech verified they did receive script I was told I was "locked" out of system and they would not be able to help me. Crazy run around for no reason! Went to my regular pharmacist and received vaccine immediately NO SCRIPT NEEDED!!! Guess they don't appreciate new business and Walgreens certainly won't receive any more of mine! read more
