The problem is that a pharmaceutical tech there attacked my mother on the afternoon of Thursday, August 15th. My mother is eighty years old, and he ripped into her verbally after yanking medicine from her, and he did it in front of me. A man that attacks someone's mother in front of them has clearly lost touch with reality. I did not catch his name, but he is of shorter stature, stocky, and with white hair. I called the store, and they told me that they have had multiple complaints about this man, yet he is not only allowed to continue working there, but he is apparently permitted to attack anyone that is weaker than he is. I filed a complaint with corporate and I'm calling for his job. He has done this to too many people, and it is high time for him to leave.

She looked it up and said I don't have anything ready so I proceeded to show her my phone to prove I wasn't making it up she said go stand by drop off. I waited for 10 min and finally some very nice lady came over she looked it up and apologized and said I can have it for you in 20 min I thanked her and went to sit down. When it was ready the nasty girl just pointed at me and didn't say anything to me at all. After I paid I said have a nice day and she just walked away. This has happened to me 2 times already and I will be changing to hannaford.

Not to say we don't have excellent local pharmacies in our town, but sometimes you need a corporate store for such things as immunizations, which was my case in this instance. The check in process was uneventful and fast. I had made the appointment and paperwork online several days ago and the reception was fast. The inoculations specialist, Ian, was courteous and very efficient. I had my booster before I knew it. The rest of the store is fine. Well stocked, very good variety. Excellent wine section too, with many of the lesser priced items on the shelves. Of course, I'm not coming to CVS for a Chateau Latour, but if I'm having a cookout with a bunch of people, this will do. As in the old Rite Aid, they have BOGO on many of the vitamins. Overall a pleasant experience.

To make it worse, most of the sales people sit by and announce they cannot help you until you correctly fill out the computer screens. They have not connected the notion of helping customers with service. And to top it off, there are unending phone calls with synthesized voices telling you to come down and pick up or order a script. They are the worst. The woman who often is at the drive thru is the exception. She is friendly, helpful and competent. Too bad Rite Aid left town.
