This is my absolute go to liquor store in Maryland. It is a true bourbon destination that has rightfully been featured on several bourbon YouTube channels. They are known for their excellent selection of whiskey, consistently landing rare allocations while maintaining some of the best pricing in the area. I make it a point to stop by every single week because their inventory is always changing and you never know what you might find on the shelves. They also run a very generous rewards program. It allows you to bank your points over time so you can eventually use them to purchase high end, rare bottles at MSRP dealer prices, which is a massive perk for enthusiasts. Outside of the liquor store portion, the rest of the business is great too. The pharmacy side is fully stocked with unique Maryland specific items, and they have a highly capable, helpful staff behind the pharmacy counter. As I have written in my review of their hidden speakeasy style lunch counter in the back, The Fountain, it is an absolute gem for lunch, a bourbon bar, and an ice cream destination. The food in there is simple lunch fare but you cannot beat the prices. they have a long list of seasonings you can add to your potato chips that I want to come back and try more of. I bought about $150 of stuff and paid it off that month. They kept sending me non-stop emails to use my account. Several months later I lost my debit card. While waiting for a new one I used my JC Penny card for small grocery items and a local uber ride. Right away they FROZE MY CARD. I went through a long procedure to get it unfrozen. Then I used it for another short uber ride and $10 of groceries. They said their was "suspicious" activity on my account and froze it again. How is a $20 local uber ride from my house suspicious??? How is $10 of groceries at a local store SUSPICIOUS??? This kept on with EVERY SINGLE PURCHASE MARKED AS SUSPICIOUS, A FROZEN CARD, AND LONG IGNORANT PROCEDURES TO UNFREEZE. The star of the story is Trish in Pharmacy who helped me on the phone Monday and today Wednesday. As promised, she kept track of the prescriptions as they came in, double checked that everything was OK and did so cheerfully. There was one prescription I was hesitant to transfer due to the lengthy process it took to get approved. Tricia told me what she could do and when and how I could cancell it if I wanted to keep it at the old, bad place. I mean talk about above and beyond, this was surprise and delight! The rest of the store was clean, well organized and filled with really friendly folk. I left another Harris Teeter because I could not say nice things about their service. Had I known how great this store and Tricia are, I could have saved myself the hassle of the mail order pharmacy and supported Harris Teeter as their company values mean a lot to me. Again, Tricia is a perfect example of why Harris Teeter is worth supporting despite the bad service at the Whitstone Way store.

Ryan said, " iv never heard of such a policy". When I said Safeway, Shop Rite and major grocers honor this law because it is an incovienance to the shopper. He threw the 49 cents difference at me and barked, "We don't do that here". Safeway: "We guarantee the accuracy of our electronic checkout system. Safeway will give you the item free, if the price on their detailed receipt is different (higher or lower) as shown on the shelf price tag. Limit of one. You will only receive one of the items for free". Ryan should not be dealing with customers!
