I'd like to update my review since it has been over three years since my last review of this pharmacy. Unfortunately I cannot upgrade more than one star. They still have ridiculously long wait times for phone calls. Well over an hour in some cases. They constantly mishandle one of my monthly prescriptions EVERY SINGLE TIME. The only reason I'm giving them an extra star is due to the pharmacy employees that actually care and try to help you. If you have options for using a different pharmacy I highly recommend doing so. read more

Having used Walgreens at 4 different locations throughout the US, the Lynn Haven store on Ohio Avenue demonstrated the very worst of basic customer service Ive ever experienced! Even elevating my substandard pharmacy service to the store manager as well as the SE service manager for Walgreens, the adversarial treatment by the entire pharmacy staff continued, and also lead to a 2-week lack of critical pain management medication. In my 58 years, I've never been on the receiving end of the very worst of basic customer service, compassion and generally poor rational reasoning. I'm giving this 3 stars because the other Walgreens option for me is worse. I drive further away from home to get to this one. There is always a long line in the pharmacy. It seems to me this is what most people come here for. They usually handle the line pretty quickly. I have seen a manger back there a few times helping out. I appreciate that. I just used the passport photo service and it was quick and painless (though pricey). None of the employees seem happy to be here. There is never a line at the check out. That person at least usually tells me to have a good day. Make sure you turn off of the main road into their parking lot. If you pass this up and turn on the side street thinking it will be better you will be sad. The city has a barricade up blocking you from turning across traffic here. read more

Literally the worst pharmacy department ever. They are slow as I have ever seen in a pharmacy. Very rude as well.

I am allergic to red dye and require dye free medication. I have been getting a particular med for over a year and they constantly fill the wrong med. Walgreens in Lynn Haven is a great place to pick up something when You're in a hurry and want to get in and out. They used to have a 24 hour pharmacy and were open 24/7 but after Hurricane Michael blew through here , they had a temporary pharmacy in the parking lot while they remodeled and they are now open 6am - 12 midnight. They always have great sales on soft drinks like 3 - 12 paks for 9.00 or 10 bucks or 4 for 12 bucks. Also a drive through at this location read more

First major problem was I had a prescription sent in waited well after it should've already been there. Ultimately did not receive my medication and had to change pharmacies and cancel the transaction as a whole. On my bag my name, number, address, and city were all completely wrong. When I called the pharmacy the next day (as they closed shortly after I got home) I explained what had happened and the pharmacy tech was no help and was not interested in receiving my CORRECT information she simply wanted to see how payment was going to go down. Second major problem is I went inside the line was way too long. Went through the LONGER drive thru line which oddly enough went faster than the line inside. I waiting in the drive thru for almost 30 min and I looked through the window to see a man who was in front of me inside just being helped after all that time. They claim they were too busy but that's no excuse for unprofessionalism. To be quite frank I heard people behind the counter laughing and having a grand old time while they were two huge lines. I do not recommend the pharmacy. The front checkout is fine. The pharmacy's customer service is ridiculous! We were in line behind a customer who was arguing with the pharmacy cashier that they only got a _ day prescription. There were at least 10 other people working in the pharmacy. No one offered to help the pharmacy cashier. To appease the customer,in the mean time, the pharmacy cashier goes to the back of the store to call the customer's insurance company. While this is going on, about 8 more customers join the line. The pharmacy cashier comes back up front , the customer is not happy with the information and walks off. The pharmacy cashier sees the line of 10 customers and desperately asks for help from the others in the pharmacy. One person says they'll be there shortly. Just ridiculous read more

I made an appointment for a Covid test early this morning for 2:30pm, I was to arrive 5 minutes prior ti appointment which I did only to be told I had to wait 30 minutes because they had just received their supplies. 2 minutes after I received a call stating that they had tried to call everyone to cancel their appointment because they had just gotten their supplies that morning, I never received a call in the morning. So I went back at the 30 minute mark and then was told their website was down and they couldn't get my info to go through so pull over in a parking space and we will call you when we are able. So now it's 38 minutes after my scheduled appointment and still nothing, this is the last straw with Walgreens. I was hoping the Lynn Haven store would be more competent then Panama City beach location but I guess it's just how the entire pharmacy works...... this is the last straw I will be moving my prescriptions and other pharmacy business elsewhere. The store is great most of the time, the make up lady makes my experience great every time she's very knowledgeable and experienced sweet caring and so helpful. The store clerks keep it clean organized and labeled early ever do I have a problem with my otc products BUT The pharmacy is the worse in town. Uncaring Careless with meds always 1 to 2 hr phone wait then when your next in line the hang up every time just like tonight 2 calls Equaling to 2:16 and still have not spoke to anyone. Unfortunately they are my preferred pharmacy two years ago I had to report that the fact that four months in a row my medicine was short and that's only what I caught. Walgreens was the preferred pharmacy between it or Walmart and I avoid Walmarts, don't need to save a dollar to venture into that circus, tough choices, no thanks to United Healthcare! So I called the local number to Walgreens to transfer a prescription from my preferred, convenient pharmacy that was dropped by UH. Little did I know that the call went into a call center. I was told, I could pick up the prescription within 2 hours at this Lynn Haven Walgreens, NOT. I went back 1.5 hours later as requested, still no prescription transferred. Of course the excuse was the Publix pharmacy was closed but the reality was that once they got around to calling, it was too late and the pharmacy had closed. INADEQUATE SERVICE WALGREENS! So far I had nothing but problems with this walgreens pharmacy after my provider changed their contract. First prescription filled I was told could get picked up by friends as I was sick and they were in tie. It's after all over an hr dive from my home. They did not call or ask for ins but. Barged cash instead !! Now after a change in medication I am encountering the rudest drive through teller ever after having me wait without greeting or reaction for 5 min she got testy and rude and finally just dropped the reviewer and asked another lady to service me. With this kind of staff their not going anywhere fast. The pharmacist had to help her out on her pc twice while I was waiting.
