Since the best ever pharmacists left (Chris and Kris), it has gone down the toilet. They have screwed up prescriptions over and over, never have consistent pharmacists, and went and caused my kid to miss his prescription after getting out of the hospital (had surgery) for his antibiotics. It took me a day of calling the other pharmacy. Finally got them transferred to the 24-hour CVS in Menifee off Newport. CVS actually answers the phone! read more

The store itself is fine, lots of fun treasures to find here, but my issues have always been with the photo department (which I have never returned to) and their pharmacy which we legit have limited options with our crap insurance. Prescriptions take forever to get filled, they do not call you like their automated system tells you they will. It took a week to fill a one month birth control Rx and when I checked the status via their automated system it told me 90 day supply was ready for pick up yet they only gave us 30 and told us the rest was on back order. Prices seem to change every time I get the same Rx filled, last time it was $3, this time it was $9 for the same which makes me think they charged me for the 90 day supply, while only giving us the 30. read more

This Walgreens is out of control! I've had so many problems here and the manager and pharmacy staff do not take problems seriously. The main issue is poor customer service at the pharmacy. I've come here twice for covid vaccines because it was the closest pharmacy to me where I could easily get an appointment. The first time I drove for an hour and then had to wait 30 minutes in line (there was no separate check-in for vaccine appointments). When they finally got to me, they told me they didn't have time because I was late (even though it was only because I had been waiting in their line for 30 minutes!). They didn't believe me, and started asking other people if I had actually been there! The pharmacist told me she didn't have time even though they weren't even close to closing yet! She said the paperwork would take too long afterward. I explained how far I had driven, how I had an appointment, etc., and finally she agreed, but then changed her mind because she thought I was "rude." I have health problems and needed to sit down after waiting for so long but no one seemed to care. I just said I'd wait and hoped she would change her mind. Being "rude" is really not a reason to deny someone their covid vaccine, and I wasn't being rude anyway. After I started crying finally she agreed to give me my vaccine. Just a totally weird experience and unnecessarily difficult. The second time (again, only went there because it was the closest option), I had an appointment, and when I got there and approached the pharmacy I saw it was completely closed! I didn't get any notice of my appointment being cancelled or anything. There were staff inside who opened the door just to say it was closed due to a "family emergency" and tough luck, basically. I asked why they didn't notify me so I wouldn't have had to drive so far, but they had no answer, just got annoyed. Ok. I get that emergencies happen, but they should let people know who have appointments. It wouldn't take that long to call. They should also have substitutes available to work in such circumstances. There were people who came in needing their prescriptions who got turned away, too. I had to go to another pharmacy to get my shot. This place needs new management and better pharmacy oversight. read more

I'm not sure what's going on at this pharmacy, but the past several months I've come here something has always been wrong with my medication or someone has told me different things that were incorrect. You can also *never* reach them by phone. I was trying to get my prescription refilled from a prior pharmacy which had 2 refills left and I was told I can't. I proceeded to tell them that I still had refills left at another pharmacy and then they proceeded to contact my doctor. Long story short, they told me that they couldn't refill my meds and that if I needed to go to the ER or urgent care if I needed my medicine and they would NOT give me an emergency supply of my meds (which they have done before). You're going to recommend that during Covid?? Luckily I contacted my doctor before closing and this was all because they had my wrong insurance on file, which I told them to change because it was inactive. I had to go a day without my medicine, thankfully I didn't have a seizure. I can understand the lack of staff due to the circumstances, but this just happens too often to me and taking medication I need every single day is really important. Based on previous reviews I feel like this is a management thing. I really hope something here changes because I used to enjoy coming here because of how close and convenient it was. read more

I wish I could give them zero stars. Both my mom and I have been using this Pharmacy and have continuously had the same issue with them. First of all they are never kind during a call. They cut you off and refuse to actually listen in order to help you. Secondly, they refuse to fill prescriptions when the doctor calls them in cause they believe they know better. My mom's doctor finally had to call them herself and say, "are you the doctor? I sent it to be filled so fill it". I had a refill sent in but because I was in the process of changing pharmacies (for above reasons) they refused to give me the prescription. The new Pharmacy has been trying to fill it but because they already filled it the insurance won't fill it again. CVS said Walgreens has got to cancel and return to stock. Well big surprise Walgreens refused to do anything for me and stated since I switched pharmacies they don't have anything in there system for me (so apparently they can't see all the records they have for me? Sure). No matter what you try to fill here it's always a nightmare!! I had a c-section a few years back and needed the pain meds the doctor subscribed- anyone that has had a c-section knows how painful that is- and they made me wait a whole 24 hrs in horrific pain before they filled it!! Horrible horrible manager. Ms. Hickey, for being the store manager is awful. I dropped of a fed ex package and she didnt say hi, nothing, didnt ask what I needed help with. She fingered me over to her, so rudely. I said I was shipping off a package, she then rolls her eyes and grabs her scanner, scanned my package and said phone number. I am a supervisor at a big retail company and I am just baffled at her customer service. If you are that miserable at your job why even bother working with customers. The lady who works in the cosmetic department is really helpful! She gives very personal service. I really appreciate her recommendations and pointing out coupons and discounts. I won't go anywhere else now beside the high end cosmetics for my core products. The service in the photo department is also very good. The thing that sets this particular Walgreen's apart from all the others is the awesome Manager Glenn! He's just a really nice person. Always in a good mood, helpful and always tries to take care of his customers. It's very apparent his entire team follows his example, because they are helpful and pleasant as well. On Thursday evening I went into Walgreens with my kids to check the Halloween leftovers, I'd had my eye on this light up tree for the past week that my kids and myself wanted, I took it to the front to ask if they could hold it for me til morning because I didn't get paid until morning but they said they couldn't hold the item I was bummed but understood and the nice cashier lady asked a man named Ian if it was at all possible to hold the item until morning and he said that they couldn't do that but instead of me leaving bummed out he bought it for us!!!! That was the sweetest kindest thing and he said "it's the least I could do since we can't hold it for you" I didn't even really know what to say! My kids were so excited and I was so happy what a wonderful thing to do!!! I will always give this Walgreens my business! read more

I spent 20 minutes downloading pics and making collages and a girl walks by and asks me how I'm doing...fine. Then when I'm done I ask when I can get them. "Our machine is down". Why didn't you tell me when I was sitting there for 20 minutes!!!?? Waste of time and energy!!! Put a sign up, communicate!!! My favorite place to get my photos developed. The photo department is wonderful, especially Ian. He has great customer service, he'll go above to help make your photos come out the best. When ordering online vs the store, some photos can come un-centered, if that happens Ian will notify you and spend that extra time in store helping you at the in store machine to make them right. I really wanted a large poster of my xmas card and it was off center due to online error, he went the extra time to help redo it to make it prefect. I also observed him helping another customer at the in store next to me. He was also using the photo machine, he also receive great service as well. I knew that he enjoys his job as well as the people he can help. I could tell from the conversation that there was a previous experience, Ian knew just how to help the gentleman. The gentleman had a way of getting his photos off his phone and Ian was able to quickly help him get them off and upload. I appreciate Ian's customer service and his knowledge of the photo department at Walgreens. Your an asset to the department. Thank you for all of your help! read more
