They are one of my go-to locations to order online prints for pick up and they always do a stand-up job. I even had two custom shirts (one sweatshirt and one t-shirt) sent here and Walgreens knocked them out the park. My most commonly printed item is a 20x30'' poster board and while other locations have had challenges in the past with that specific size, they are always ready on time here at Freeport Walgreens. In fact, if I send it in the night before at 8-10pm, they are almost always ready by noon the next day. From my days working at a pharmacy when I was younger, I know how tiring and grueling it can be. So to the staff here, thank you for being so reliable and for all the work you do day in and day out!

I'm unsure if the pharmacy is short staffed or does not have well trained employees. unfortunately I take medication on a daily basis and if I don't take them on time I go through a physical withdrawal and my previous prescription wasnt filled with the proper amount which affected me greatly. this pharmacy take hours to fill prescriptions, it doesn't matter if my doctor sent in a refill first thing in the morning, it will take them till the evening to be ready. they're customer service skills need improvement because whenever I express concern, Communication is returned with rudeness. if I call them I could be on hold anywhere from 15-30 mins. today I had to call the front end of the store to please get me in touch with some and when I finally got through to someone I was given an attitude. they also misspelled my last name and I requested for them twice to correct it in the system and it's still not properly spelled. it has been 2 years of bad experience with them and I unsure how management let this behavior go on for this long.

I always have to come in the next day, wait an hour---even when I call my doctor directly and ask if the prescription has been sent out and they say it has, the pharmacists never fail to make a mistake. I don't know if there is the Caribbean version of pharmacy school, but I suspect all of the rejects are the ones who work here because they are insanely incapable of completing even the smallest of tasks. When I checked my patient portal, only two appeared to be available at this CVS location. Unfortunately, this has become a recurring issue, as this pharmacy frequently seems to be out of stock of commonly prescribed medications. After leaving my doctor's office, I transferred my prescriptions to another CVS location because I wanted to ensure all three could be filled together. Shortly afterward, I received a call back from a gentleman at the Rockville Centre CVS who informed me that although two prescriptions had been canceled, he was able to retrieve them and told me to come to the store to have them filled. I confirmed the address with him and drove there. Upon arrival, I approached the pharmacy counter and provided my information to a young woman working there. She briefly checked and immediately told me, "We don't have anything for you." I explained that someone from that very pharmacy had called me and instructed me to come in because my prescriptions could be filled. She checked again and simply stated there was nothing they could do. She then walked away while I was still speaking. What was most upsetting was not the prescription issue itself, but the complete lack of customer service. At no point did she attempt to investigate what had happened, contact another CVS location, locate where my prescriptions may have been transferred, or offer any explanation. Her tone was dismissive, short, and rude. I felt as though she simply wanted me to leave. A pharmacist who appeared from behind the counter ignored my concerns entirely and began assisting another customer when I questioned the way I was being spoken to. When I requested a manager's name or ownership information, I was told to "go online and call corporate." I then went to the front store manager for assistance. He walked back to the pharmacy with me and requested information on my behalf. At that point, Pharmacist Umar reportedly shouted from across the pharmacy, "That's all we have. Tell her to call corporate. We're not giving her any information." I was shocked by the lack of professionalism. I felt dismissed, misunderstood, disrespected, and treated as though my concerns did not matter. To make matters worse, while I was standing there, I overheard the same employee offering another customer assistance with transferring prescriptions to their location. When I asked why that same courtesy wasn't extended to me, I received no meaningful response. After leaving upset and confused, I visited another CVS location. The staff there quickly located my prescription, explained what had happened, transferred it appropriately, and filled it without issue. The entire situation could have been resolved in minutes had someone at the Rockville Centre location been willing to listen and help. No customer should be treated this way when trying to obtain prescribed medication. I expect better communication, professionalism, and basic courtesy from a pharmacy entrusted with people's healthcare needs.

I'd previously been a CVS acolyte, not out of any special loyalty, but simply due to their ubiquity. This changed with a recent health scare my wife experienced. I ran all over the Oceanside/Baldwin/Freeport area looking for a pharmacy which carried what I thought to be a fairly common piece of medical equipment. And after my fourth mega-pharmacy visit, it dawned on me. CVS, Walgreens, Rite-Aid and the like are not in the pharmacy business. They are nothing more than convenience stores which fill prescriptions. Finally, after giving up nearly all hope of finding what I needed, I stopped into this small store and was immediately greeted by a young man behind the counter who eagerly and sincerely asked if I needed assistance. In a mega pharmacy, you can barely get the clerks to put down their cell phones long enough to look at you, let alone do it with authenticity. This man directed me to the pharmacist, a middle aged woman who patiently went through the THREE options of the equipment I needed. After going through all the features, she told me to go with the cheapest one since the primary functions of all three were basically the same. When I returned home that night, I told my wife we were moving all our prescriptions to Health Mart. No looking back.
