I went to pick up my prescription and I had a couple of other small things to check out with. First of all I was standing in an empty line while the guy at the counter was ignoring me. Finally someone told him in the back to stop what he was doing and help me. Then I asked if I could go ahead and have him scan my other two items. Okay....so it's day two of snow on the ground and I have run out of one of my more necessary prescriptions. I think to myself I'd better call and see if my prescription is actually ready. So I call and am told by the robo that they do not have my phone number on file there. ( I've only traded with them for 7 years). So, although being over 80 years old, I drive down to the store and pull up to the drive through only to have a sign in the window that says "no pharmacist on duty". Really? The streets are slushy and quite drivable and you can't get anyone in to take care of business? Guess I'll try CVS and see if they can do any better. read more

I used to frequent this Walgreens for several years. While the store inside was clean, stock was always upkept and the associates were friendly, the line for the pharmacy is what is keeping my lacking of the other stars. I just went through the drive through to pick up my medication for my surgery recovery and the women inside seemed to have no idea what I needed or what I was talking about. They didn't have my medicine even after we got a text that said they did. I get that this can get mixed up so I wasn't even mad about that. She was not helpful at all and was extremely rude and she literally just stood there staring at us with no solution. She spoke to me and my husband like we were children even though she's the one who was getting confused. We left and I have no medicine to take so that's just wonderful. The Walgreens customer service is non existent. They don't even try to stand behind the products the sell. I purchased a 3 month supply of estrogen patches. Here's the problem, they don't stick to stay attached to my skin. I took said patches back to the Walgreens pharmacy in Oklahoma City on 6350 N MacArthur Blvd. I spoke with a Pharm D on duty who let me know she cannot refund nor replace defective patches. I can however purchase a different brand of patches for $400.00 or buy water proof coverings to hold the patches on. I asked if the manufacturer would stand behind their products. She replied that I could try by calling them. I asked for the manufacturers phone number. She said it was on my package insert. (It's not there). I went back asking for manufactures (Mylan) phone number and she gave me a number to call. I called that number and it was for financial services!!!!! I go back for a THIRD time and after a LOT of searching she found the elusive number for Mylan. I've left a message with Mylan so we'll see what happens with that. Seems kind of odd to me that when a product that Walgreens sells and is defective it is left up to me to work it out. What do I need Walgreens for? These patches are not cheap and are NOT covered by my insurance. I have 1 box that has not even been opened. Can't get a refund or replacement for any of the 3 boxes. I called Walgreens corporate office and explained what happened.. They replied "So you'd like to make a complaint?" I give up Moral to this story if you choose to use Walgreens do so at your own risk. They do NOT stand behind their products and their customer service is non-existent. I recently came across a brochure regarding Walgreens Photo Recovery Service, so I gave them a defective memory card, with the hope that the 60 or so pictures I had taken could possible be recovered from it. Promise time was two weeks, and several days after that had passed I still hadn't received the order. I inquired several times in person and over the phone, to no avail. Finally a MANAGER called me back and said my order was never shipped out, but accidentally THROWN AWAY!!! I mean, how does a MANAGER not know the difference between a customer's photo order and the trash??? It defies belief! While I would have been disappointed if the order was processed and the photos were not retrievable, I would have understood and thanked them for trying. Instead, due to the blatant carelessness of this manager, not only do I not have the photos but I no longer have the memory card either. Do not under any circumstances trust this location's photo department for ANYTHING. I learned the hard way and they're never getting a second chance. read more

I usually use this location because it's close to my home. I don't use the pharmacy or the photo dept so I can't provide any feedbacks on those areas. Most of their products are standard items you would see in most places, but they do charge a bit more because it is a convenience store. Their snacks, candies, and drinks are fresh and there is plenty of choices for off the shelf medications. They keep their greeting cards pretty well stocked so you can get many selections to choose from for any event. Parking is a little hectic during rush hours, but you just have to watch out for the people who reverse out of their lanes without looking. Staff is always friendly from what I have experienced. read more

Forget at the corner of happy and healthy. This Walgreens is at the corner of what the hell and are you kidding me. Recently I needed to fill a prescription for my infant daughter. I chose to go through the drive-thru. I wanted to make sure and contain her misery in our car. I dropped off the prescription. I was told to come back in 20 minutes. We came back. And I was asked what flavor she wanted. Really at that age it doesn't matter. I got the medication it was in a glass bottle and had a white label on it and told me to dispense it for 10 days and then discard it when it was gone. I took the medicine home. Loaded up the plastic syringe. And notice that the consistency was really thick. I didn't really think much of it because I remember some pretty thick medications when I was young. I gave her a dose and she probably threw it up. That should have been my first clue. The next day I got more medicine out but notice there really wasn't 10 days worth of medicine in the bottle. Day 3 I start looking at the white label and peel it back only to find out that this medication should have been mixed with water before it was given to me. Are you kidding me! At this point I feel like I'm poisoning my daughter. I call Walgreens. They seemed shocked but not as shocked as I hope they would be. I asked to speak to a supervisor. They tell me this should never have happened. Yes! This should never have happened. Luckily my daughter is ok. The side effects are just some minor discomfort. Walgreens really didn't do anything to help out with this situation. Supposedly corporate is going to call me and explain what happened. I think it's clear what happened. Somebody didn't pay attention. They decided that pumping in the flavoring was more important than adding the water and correctly telling somebody how to administer the medication. This Walgreens has the most helpful pharmacy staff that I have ever encountered! I am relatively new to my insurance and they were very helpful with the transition to this new one and helping to explain how it all worked (I'm also young, so wasn't really sure how insurance works). I've used this Walgreens for two years and I think I'm finally ready to try something new. I've used it from habit and because I like their rewards system. My mother can go in and get my prescriptions and her own just fine, yet for some reason every time I was in they just want to argue with me. I've had them refuse to give me medications because of an error on their end. They have forgotten to go through my insurance and over charged me, and then lied and said they did contact my insurance. Today they some how lost all of my insurance info that hasn't changed in a year and wanted me to pay $400 for a generic med. The drive through girl was rude and acted like it was my fault and that I didn't know what I was talking about (a trait most of the pharmacy employees seem to have when I go) even though it was clearly their mistake. Even though I had requested refills, they filled them yesterday and I had tried to pick them up earlier today when I was first made aware of their mistake with my insurance. It took about 15 minutes more once they finally figured out their mistake to give me the meds and during this time I heard the same condescending drive thru girl making fun of customers for expecting her to do her job. Crazy. I'm so done with this chain and this location. I will be going else where from now on. read more

I have been there many time and 90% of the time I wait. My prescription was called in before noon. I arrived at 4:45 only to stand in line for 15 minutes while they waited on drive up customers bust talking on the phone. When it finally was my turn I was told I would have to wait it wasn't ready.
