My rating is solely based on my two experiences with the Pharmacy Operations Manager, Gaby. I am uninsured and was ready to overpay for my prescriptions using a GoodRx coupon until Gaby stepped in not once, but on two separate occasions to lower my price. She dropped my bill by 60% using coupons she was able to find and apply for me, and save to my account. It cost her absolutely nothing to help, but saved me a nice chunk of money. After I realized how much her simple act of kindness helped me out, I cried on the way home. She had nothing to gain by helping me out, in fact I took up more of her time and she still stopped to help me out, unprompted. I realized when I got home I requested and my doctor authorized the wrong dosage refill for me; I went back to pick up my correct dosage and was prepared to pay the GoodRx price again, hoping desperately she was there, and she was and she helped me find a coupon with a lower price yet again. She went out of her way twice for me without knowing I was the same person -- she is the type of human who restores my faith in humanity. read more

Can I ask why the pharmacy doesn't treat its customers like a customer? Why are you all rude after taking so long to fill a prescription. My doctor sends them over electronically and you all don't begin to process it until I call or try to pick up hours later. Then you all are rude about it on top of that. These big pharmacies - Walgreens specifically- are the only ones that treat paying customers like we are bothering you. We literally are keeping you in business and the reason you have jobs. Keep that in mind when you interact with your customers! This is why I keep my recurring subscriptions with Amazon mail, and will start using another pharmacy in the future. Today they tried to have me leave and come back in half hour. I said I'll wait. What do you know- it was ready in 5 minutes. The last attended I spoke to seemed much more polite. Now it's 6 pm, and I'm next to the window, and none of the pharmacists acknowledge that I'm waiting. Then, 10 mins later, someone says that someone will be with me. THE worst location I've ever been to! Please steer clear of this store and literally go anywhere else. The service is terrible, the staff ave no idea what they're doing and it's ghetto. They have one of their only two doors in and out of this location completely blocked with a sign at 5pm in the afternoon on a Saturday which forces the many patrons going in and coming out through the same narrow doorway. I had been a customer for over 10 years and always had a hard time getting my meds on time but I continue coming here because it's just down the street from my house.. but today was the last day I come here. 3 out of 7 days of the week they are closed by 7 PM because of their lack of staffing. The few times speaking with the pharmacy staff was beyond frustrating. Was with the Garden Grove Walgreens for 16 years, because of the Walgreens off of Euclid and Philadelphia I have completely left Walgreens. I came for my booster and my flu shot. Turns out they don't cover the flu shot so the cost of that was going to be $42.00, no thanks! Got my booster but not after a very long wait. The main pharmacist seemed stressed and was rudely telling her fellow employees to hurry up and trying to help them multitask all the customers. It was a mess. When getting the shot, she wasn't prepared for it, had to go back in the pharmacy for the needle. She didn't even close the door when talking to me about it or giving it to me. The only reason I gave them two stars instead of one was because the man behind the pharmacy counter was trying his best to keep up and was very friendly. read more

My wife and I often come in for photo prints. We have found the Photo service here to be generally better than their competition. We have usually been helped by very friendly and helpful employees who walk us through the process if we have any difficulties. While waiting for our prints, we enjoy browsing their general merchandise and munchies. Although prices do run rather high, which is expected at drug stores, we usually find some sale-priced bargains which we might pick up in addition to our photo order. At Christmastime this is also a nice place to find some good, reasonable gift items with less hassle than department stores and malls. We are thankful for this business, and have generally had a good experience here. read more

Been going here for the past 12 years and am very pleased with the sales, cleanliness, and overall products from pets supplies to pharmacy drive-thru. Also, if ordering photos from here, don't order the true digital, because they don't cut the pictures for you, so you'll have to cut off the white borders yourself. Lived here for years and never been. Came to get quarters today because we forgot them at the grocery store and they said they don't do that. A connivence store with no quarters? Really? This place is right around the corner from my house and I love coming here when I need something quick. The drive-thru has got to be the best thing ever when it comes to Pharmacies and this one is no exception. I like how it is to the rear of the building in case any elderly people decide to punch it and ram thier car into something. I use the redbox here the most because it is close and tends to have a better selection than the others nearby. The grocery section is small but if you really need anything more than they have here....just walk 20 feet to Fresh and Easy you bum! read more

I tried to pick up a perception that Walgreens said was ready. Do to the Pharmacist taking a brake the young girl could not sell me my perception. A few minutes later I watched her give a perception to another lady. The lady said they were syringes and tried to tell me they were over the counter and she could buy them. Then she was gone. I did not believe her. So I contacted the store manager. She was no help! What I want to say is that if you are open you should have staff or lock it up as you are not helping when people like me have to come back again and again. I'm a fan of Walgreens, just not this one. Although the store is clean for the most part, the issues I have is with the pharmacy. They consistently are slow on filling prescriptions. The other walgreens are pretty quick and have it ready in 10 minutes. This one usually takes 20 minutes. One time they called and said the prescription was ready and when I got there it wasn't. Another time they said the prescription would take 30 minutes so I left to go get something to eat, arrived about an hour later, and it still wasn't ready. I'm about ready to switch pharmacies. My advice is to go to one of the other walgreens or a different pharmacy for prescriptions. read more

My family of 12 planned a trip to Hawaii. Hawaii is very strict as far as COVID and traveling there. They require an NAAT/PCR test 72 hours prior to departure. Very few places offer this type of test and Walgreen on Euclid is one of those places. If the test was not within those 72 hours you would not be able to travel or you would have to quarantine for 10 days. Like I mentioned, the State of Hawaii is really strict. A month before my trip I decided to get a trial test done to see in how many days I would receive it. I wanted to make sure I would receive it during those 72 hours. I went to get tested and the next day I receive an email that the test results were ready. When I open the results, there wasn't an answer, it said that I needed to retake the test. I called LabCorp asking questions and they said that they had received the testing bag with no sample inside. WALGREENS HAD LOST MY SAMPLE TUBE! I immediately called Walgreens and they said they had no idea what had happened. So the ball was tossed around between Walgreens and LabCorp as to who had lost it. I let it go because this was only the trial test, but was very disappointed as to how they handled their testing. The time of my trip came around and the State of Hawaii was no longer requiring tests for vaccinated people, so most of family did not have to worry about the testing any more. My two daughters not being vaccinated needed the test. As I was unsure if they would loose any testing samples again, due to my past bad experience, I decided to test them twice. I took them on a Sunday at 2:45 p.m and then on Monday at 11:45 a.m. I wanted to ensure I would get the results on time. On Monday night I received the first results, both Negative. On Tuesday night I receive the second results. One Negative the other Positive. At first, I couldn't even think straight. My family and I were devastated not only because we couldn't make it to our trip but because one of my daughters had tested Positive. My sister insisted that this couldn't be right. That the body doesn't make drastic changes within a couple of hours. That same night, the day before our trip, at 10:00 p.m, we made an appointment at the Ontario Airport paying $200 for an express results test that Hawaii would accept. I informed the person taking the test of what had happened and he said he would make sure to collect enough sample from my daughter to ensure a correct result. After a couple hours we receive the result and sure enough, she was Negative! WALGREENS ALMOST RUINED OUR TRIP AND GAVE US A FALSE POSITIVE. How is this possible. Two mistakes in a row for me. First the lost sample and then a false positive. Or did they give us someone else's results. We will never know. Be careful with this place and testing. They are not accurate at all. The county gave me a call because they said that Walgreens sent the positive result to them. I informed them of everything that had happened, and the person from the County said that they had had this issue before and would note it. I'm not sure what that means, but she urged me to write this review. COVID is very serious and should not be taken lightly because of incompetent workers. read more

Terrible service had the hard copy of my Prescription they couldnt fill it cause they said someone made changes to it so i tell them call my doc they somehow cant get ahold of my doc so they dont fill it cause the script was for 240ml and they were saying it was for 120ml i leave go back to urgent care have my doctor call and they confirm that its 240ml i spoke to yen and showed her my new hard copy and she felt dumb and refused to fill it because i was right if your latino i recommend not coming her they are highly prejudice and and were acting strange from the start any how i got my script filled somewhere else i will not return here thank you pharmacist yen for your terrible rude service read more

I really like this Walgreens cause the workers are considerate. Whenever the line starts to increase at the cashier, they immediately have another employee open another register.
