So, ultimately, my point is that I always hesitate to actually spend a lot at any store like this anymore... because eventually a coupon will come out for almost anything. With that said, if I need something quickly and out of the blue, I don't mind actually buying it. Anyway, between all the drugstore chains in the area (Rite Aid, CVS, and Walgreens), Walgreens never has the best deals. They do have the lowest regular prices, but when it comes to sales every week, CVS outnumbers them every week. I also don't like that every time I seem to use coupons here, they enjoy giving me a problem with the coupons. With that said, they weren't being very friendly about it here at the start, and now they are getting much better. While I still prefer how other stores give me even less of a hassle (in Needham, management doesn't even need to come over to manually enter a coupon), the management team here is friendly and extremely helpful for whatever I need (and it doesn't seem to be only me...). While not my favorite location of Walgreens, in general, people are friendly, they generally have the items I'm looking for, and you can guarantee they will have a ton of cool, awesome stuff for cheap (sometimes up to 90% off!) right after any holiday, which is something that doesn't happen as often at CVS or Rite Aid. This specific store is also generally well stocked, organized and clean as well. 4 stars overall. Could be better, but since it's close it works for me.

First time I Uber-ed out there from a another town, but was delighted discovering they ship the must-be-refrigerated meds to me, over-night packed with cooling packs, so the bottle always arrived chilled, Amazing ! I only had to wait 10 minutes outside and five minutes inside. The people giving the shots were professional quick and pleasant. also they had the instant Covid tests in stock for $30. I haven't been able to find those anywhere. This pharmacy also makes herbal remedies and compounds. I'm going to try their sleep time vegetarian capsules that support sleep anxiety and stress. Very pleased how this all went.

Walgreens in Hyde Park on Truman Hwy is a pretty large & newer store... Walgreens stores that were…read moreconverted from Rite Aids typically look older but this is a legacy store location. I like this store because they always have a good stock of items, such as stuffies! Why I am giving a two star is because this store has bad management, store & pharmacy. There's many employees here & never seems to really ever be short staffed compared to other locations but they never want to attend to customers. It could be not busy at all & your Rx will still take an hour or be forgetten completely, just for something that needs a label to be stuck onto a container lol. Service is nonexistent here unfortunately. On the bright side, they do keep the shelves stocked & quite organized. It's located in the Truman Hwy Plaza, where you can find Stop & Shop for groceries and a liquor store to make a quick run for some booze. They also have EV chargers (Shell ReCharge) in this plaza, as well! They're currently free, courtesy of Shell, with a limit of 1 hr charge/session @9.6kW, ~32mi/hr.

Second time I tried refilling my scripts through the app a message popped up that there was an issue to call the pharmacy. I called and it took me 18 minutes to finally talk to someone. Hours later I receive a message that my prescription is ready, I drive over, waited a bit in line and when I finally get to the counter I'm told that it is in fact ready but that the system was not producing the price on my meds and that I would have to come back later. We went in because my husband's doctor had ordered him a cane a special pain for him. We went in to pick it up, thinking it was approved however it was not approved because he apparently gotten crutches within the last five years and then he makes an ineligible for a pain, even though you graduate from crutches to a pain. So in the end, I spoke with the young girl that worked there, she was very, very nice in that department and she said well if you bring came back to me, I can fit and fit him for the cups are on the bottom we were missing one of the cups for like a few months we couldn't find the right size so I got right in the car so she said can you bring it into me so I brought it right in she took it next-door to her shop or whatever and she was able to fit the bottoms with new new caps and only cost me like $6.50 which was wonderful so now the husband walks nice and straight and he's not falling over because he's missing part of his cane. But this store is definitely your local pharmacy type of place. It definitely is there for the customer. OK the customer service I believe it was an 11 pay typically I can get customer service as zero but this place that day was definitely 110% out of this world I will go back there for anything else I needed. They really make you feel special they make you feel like your business is what they need to happen like you are the only customer but You know you're not but they make you feel that special. I really think that that in itself would bring more people in.

I have never had an issue here. Only thing is, they seem to never have stock of items but I think that is possibly due to theft which is unfortunate. Employees are nice here and always willing to help find whatever you're looking for. This Walgreens also has a drive thru for their pharmacy. Super clutch if you don't want to go inside and wait in the line. The line to pick up prescriptions does form quick and may wait for a while since pharmacy staff is a bit short staffed.

This Walgreens is located in a strip mall. I had just been…read moredining at a restaurant within the same strip mall and I needed to pick up a few things so I figured I would stop in here at this Walgreens seeing I was right there. This is an average size location and there is plenty of parking in the huge parking lot outside of the store. On the day that I was here the stock on the shelves was very limited and it seemed that they were out of a lot of items. However I did see a lot of totes scattered around the store which tells me a shipment had just come in and they were likely in the process of restocking their shelves. I was able to find one out of the three products that I had wanted to purchase so decided just to get that one item and call it a day. The clerk who was running the register area didn't seem all that friendly (no smile or greeting as I approached the register) but they did handle my transaction fast and efficiently.
