Stopped here to look for ethnic hair oil and a certain conditioner product but unfortunately, this location has very limited ethnicity products. They didn't have many sales on cosmetics for lips as other locations I've noticed. There was an employee( James I think) gentleman who just transferred to this location and who walked up to me, went over and beyond to assist me in trying to locate my product at another location nearby( using a handheld machine) . There was one car in front of me in the drive thru and I waited 35min before finally giving up and going inside to wait another 10min. Attempted to pick up a prescription I have been taking for 6+ years. One of the pharmacy techs tried giving me a different brand of medication that affects my body differently than the one I was actually prescribed by my physician. I noticed before I walked out and a different person started helping me to find it. The guy trying to help seemed new and bit flustered from lack of experience. He found the correct brand of medication, but then kept saying his manager closed the prescription due to a manufacturing issue so there was absolutely no way he could fill it for me. He showed me a piece of paper with the prescription for the other off brand and I showed him the prescription of the brand I had been taking directly from my patient portal that my provider wrote for me. He told me I could talk to his manager but it would have to wait until tomorrow. I expressed the urgency of needing to fill this prescription and what would happen if missed a dose. I tried asking for an explanation but he kept insisting there was nothing he could do. I had been picking this prescription up for years at Walgreens and never had this issue. I then went to a different Walgreens down the street and they filled it for me within 5 minutes :) read more

Horrible pharmacy. Does not fill prescriptions went sent from doctor. You have to show up or call them to do their job and then still wait for it to be ready. Bad management or understaffed. Also did not give proper dosing for infant (nothing to measure and was missing a dose). We only go here because CVS not accepting insurance but I am going to look for a local small pharmacy who will hopefully accept. read more

Where do I even begin...if you need your drugs refilled you have better chances getting ahold of sneaky Pete downtown for some smack off the streets than getting something from a pharmacist. The only positive part about trying to get a prescription refill was the decent hold music as I waited on hold for 47 minutes only to be put on hold again. At one point my boyfriend did not believe me so he tried to call in but after being put on hold 3 times and waiting for 42 minutes he threw his iPhone against the wall in frustration...my advice try Fry's, Rite aid or CVS...for the love of god just don't call the walgreens on Greenway and Scottsdale if you value your sanity!!!!! read more

The people in the pharmacy are awful. They are highly unintelligent and working in a position that requires some common sense to be able to help people with health problems. They are disgustingly rude and the male that works there is the biggest problem. Every time I have gone in there I have had issues due to their poor customer service or just being lazy. They have lied about prescriptions being available and cancelled prescriptions without my consent. However the biggest issue I had was the laziness by the individual who entered my insurance information wrong and they continued to tell me the my insurance didn't cover any of my prescriptions. This is flat out unacceptable laziness and should be addressed, but they dont care and continue to let their employees be sloppy. read more

They had one box of Wal-dryl left for purchase luckily. We were eating at a new place in the area and I wanted to be sure I had an allergy medication in case I had a reaction. Sometimes it is immediate some times delayed up to 18 hours later. This dye free product is valuable to me and is literally a life saver. The store was clean and had a lot more Easter inventory than our local locations in Surprise. Check out was fast and employees were sweet. read more

This review is for the pharmacy! I went to the drive thru to pick up a prescription + was in need of baby Motrin as well but I had a sick and sad baby in my backseat so getting out with him was a little difficult. When I pulled through, I asked if I could snag the baby Motrin in addition to the Rx. While this is normally not allowed, the lady working went above and beyond to get it for me because she knew I had a sad baby in the back. You have no idea how relieved I was! It was my son's first time getting sick (8 months old) so as a first-time mama, this helped reduce my stress a bit! Thank you for going above and beyond! Worst Walgreens I have ever been to. While waiting in line at the photo department, I witnessed an extremely rude employee try to give a stack of photos to a woman who repeatedly told him they weren't hers. He treated her dismissively, rang her up, then she opened the photos and sure enough, they weren't hers. He then took over 15 minutes trying to locate hers and eventually rang her up for what was a much smaller transaction than the one he was pushing on her. Never apologized, nothing. I finally get to the front to return a package and after 10 minutes of them trying to scan the provided QR code, calling over managers, etc, they could never actually process my return. Just say - the code doesn't work, and called the next person in line. Overall a waste of 30 minutes for extremely poor customer service, witnessing someone's private photos be given to / pushed on the wrong person, and not even getting done what I came for. read more

They don't have enough staff, and the Employees that work in the pharmacy all have terrible attitudes and are not even friendly. They do not enjoy their jobs. wait times are ridiculous. I just spent 52 minutes in the drive-through with six cars ahead of me. Nobody is pleasant or helpful, and every time I go, it's a terrible experience. I will be moving to a different pharmacy. I've always had a good experience at this Walgreens on 44th street and Indian School. I've used the pharmacy for prescriptions, bought many items. Most recently I've come to this Walgreens for my Covid booster and flu vaccine. Very easy to get both vaccines. The pharmacy employees were busy and working very hard but they still made an effort to be friendly and helpful when I got my covid and flu vaccines. The employees at the regular store have been helpful and friendly also! I highly recommend this Walgreens. read more

This review is strictly about the drive thru pharmacy because they clearly do not have their act together. I've had the "pleasure" of sitting in line for 30+ minutes with just 3 cars ahead of me in the drive thru pharmacy line, three times now. The reason this happens is because the person who is supposed to man the drive thru section frequently leaves to ring up people inside, despite there being someone else to cover the indoor patrons. Therefore, an outside transaction that should take no longer than 5 minutes per car, now takes over 10 minutes per car because there is no one at the window to assist the outside patrons. This last incident I complained about the amount of time it took per car to the pharmacy tech, and was given a shrug as a valid reason for leaving her post. The staff clearly doesn't care about your time, so therefore I do not care to get my prescriptions filled there anymore. I plan on getting all my scripts transferred to another pharmacy immediately. Do not waste your time getting your prescriptions there, because that is what they'll do....waste yours. read more

Believe all of the negative reviews here and go somewhere else. They gave me the wrong prescription and wouldn't take it back once I found the error. They couldn't figure out my insurance and therefore I couldn't fill a prescription despite having active insurance. Their customer service is poor and their general demeanor is unhelpful. I encourage you to seek pharmacy services else Update: they strike again. Every time I try to fill a prescription here, they have some issue with insurance covering it. They will charge you full price and are completely unhelpful with dealing with insurance. Don't go here. read more

On hold for OVER 45 minutes to speak to someone in the pharmacy with NO answer. I call the actual store and ask someone to go back there for me. She hangs up on me. I call back and ask to speak to a manager and the MANAGER tells me he's going to transfer me. I asked him to not transfer me because I cannot get a human on the phone. He says he would transfer me and go back there to tell them to answer the phone. I've now been on hold over an hour now and if I have to get my son dressed and buckled in the car seat to drive down there hell will be raised!!! Worst experience ever. Came to counter and gave my prescription to the lady at counter. Was only one in line and she estimated that the order would be ready in 40min. The order was for simply Tylenol. Then, 1hr later I came back via drive through and the order was still not filled. She told me it would be another 20 minutes. I came back 30min later -again, giving them additional time- and was told that they need another 20min. This was absolutely ridiculous. This Walgreens can not fill a simple Tylenol prescription in over 2hrs on a Monday afternoon with no one in line. read more

I am disappointed with the Pharmacy's New Employees (Mark) that did not assist me with my diabetic strips..I called saying I only had 2 strips left, Mark could have contacted Cigna for receiving them 2 days sooner. Mark stuck with me waiting 2 more days. I contacted Cigna that approved the strips within a few minutes the authorization was approved..Mark still delayed me receiving the strips. Cigna took care of the problem.. I will never set foot in this Walgreens. I love Walgreens because it is always open and almost always has what you need; maybe not everything you can think of, but everything you actually NEED. This particular location gets a bonus star for Van Morrison's moondance playing over the PA system and for carrying a line of candy that claimed to be healthy :) And it had the couple of sundries I actually needed to pick up, too! This Wallgreens pharmacy is horrible in cuatomer service. I got diabetics Type 2 and every time my Dr orders from the pharmacy, they partially filled them or they don't have it in stock I have to make 3 trips to get them, because they don't allways call to notify or text me. I've got to the point that my blood pressure boils just to think I will go to Wallgreens, And I asked my Doctor giving copies of my prescription, so that I can find another pharmacy which patients with respect and in a human way. read more

I'd hurt my back and walking was extremely difficult. I knew this store carried back supports and braces, they have a display clearly marked "Braces" next to the pharmacy. I looked up a back brace online using the Walgreen's site and it was clear that this store had several in stock. I pulled into the drive through pharmacy, asked the lady if I could purchase the back brace I'd looked up that the site said was in stock at the store and was firmly told that they did not sell back braces. I then referred to it as a support and was told to go to CVS. I did, picked up a different brace, went immediately back to Walgreen's went to the the braces display picked up the brace I'd asked for, located the manager and asked why was I not allowed to purchase this less than half an hour before? She said "sorry" and offered to ring me up. That was it. This cannot even be called poor customer service, this is pile your profit margin up and set it on fire customer service. read more
