While this isn't my nearby Walgreens, it is at a convenient location near places I frequent. I haven't been in this location in a while, but my experience today was just fine as I ran in for an item or two. I found their staff to be helpful and ready to point me the right direction. I haven't been to a Walgreens in a while, and I was sent a reminder that my W Cash Rewards were going to expire if I didn't use some of them or make a purchase soon. I figured this was a good excuse for me to stock up on some paper goods or even some discounted holiday items, which are now 70% off including the candy. I did walk around for a bit until I found the right aisle (which turned out to be in the front half of the store among other grocery items) though after I found them, I was able to take off when I completed my transaction. When walking around today, I saw that the aisles were looking good and most items in stock. When I was checking out, there was no one ahead of me, so it was an easy and quick transaction. I asked a few quick questions, too, and found myself on my way soon after. The W Cash Rewards program is a free program to sign up for and easy to use. You earn back 1% in Walgreens Cash rewards storewide, even at the pharmacy, and 5% in rewards on Walgreens branded products. There are also sales prices automatically unlocked and other savings coupons where you can earn reward dollars by making a purchase after selecting a given coupon. Sometimes the coupons are on a receipt from your most recent purchase. You can also find other coupons on the app or the website (or in a booklet or ad when you arrive at the store). While I do not frequent Walgreens as often as other drug stores, I often wonder why when I happen to visit a Walgreens store as it's so easy to shop there and my experiences are often very pleasant. read more

Twenty-one of the 28 1/2 gallons of milk in the refrigerator case were EXPIRED; many were six days past the expiration date. There were ZERO fresh 1/2 gallon cartons of non-fat, 1%, or 2% milk. read more

Terrible shopping experience. I was falsely accused of stealing in front of other customers by an older employee named Amira. The item in question had been locked up and was handed to me by an employee, so there should have been no confusion about whether it was purchased properly. I immediately asked for corporate contact information and requested that they review the security footage and confirm with the cashier that the item had been sold to me. I was fully willing to cooperate in any way necessary to prove that this accusation was completely unfounded. I also expressed that the situation was being handled inappropriately and asked to speak with a manager. Amira hesitated and tried to dismiss the situation, which made me feel like she did not want the incident reported. Todd, the manager, was very helpful and did apologize, but the damage was already done. The experience was extremely upsetting--I was shaken, humiliated, and felt judged by other shoppers. I left the store in tears and had to sit in my car to compose myself. This situation needs to be taken seriously. No customer should be treated this way, and this employee's behavior should be addressed to prevent this from happening to someone else. read more

Not dispense the wrong medication to the wrong person and then NOT apologize nor accept responsibility and acknowledge the error or the harm caused. On 5/14/25 I had major outpatient neck surgery. My friend took me to Walgreen's to pick up my multiple medications (5). We went through the drive through. Made it home and checked the name on a few of the slips and assumed they were all mine. WRONG! I was given another persons medication. It was Morophine; 90 pills to be exact. I took 2 doses and had anaphylactic shock and now have complete scarring over my entire chest. still had the allergy band on my wrist when we picked up the meds. I went to the doctor and she said that the steroids prescribed to me was what helped me thwart the side effects because it could have been fatal. My friend called the intended patient because the pharmacy tech actually stapled their prescription amid my other scripts (HIPAA violation). We wanted her to know. She was unaware and said she actually received a text advising her medics was available for pick up. She must have been in a dire situation to need that many. We then called Walgreen's and spoke with the store manager Don, as there wasn't a pharmacy manager available; not surprised because this store is always understaffed or closed. All of the pharmacy techs and pharmacist I have come to know, appreciate and love have since moved on for this and other reasons. They made this nationwide chain feel like a small neighborhood store. They knew me by name, alerted me of any med issues and were simply great people who cared and it showed. My apologies, I digressed. Don was the epitome of what NOT TO DO 101! He wasn't the least bit concerned and his response was proof. It was all recorded for quality purposes. He repeatedly said he wanted me to "...bring the medicine back to the store so we can get it dispensed to the correct person". Seriously? No apology or how are you feeling? NOPE! I advised that I'm not going out of my way to do anything because I just had major surgery and I have to get treated for the mishap. He never reached out again to follow up. On Sunday (6/2/25) I received a voicemail from a random pharmacy employee but she didn't leave her name and the message was even more perplexing. She said she was "...calling about the mishap and I don't have to call back". Fast forward to (6/3/25) and I had to pick up more meds and I finally spoke to the pharmacy manager Stephanie who couldn't care less! She finally asked if I was ok and I advised "NO, I had to be seen by a specialist (dermatologist) and am on medication to try and clear up my skin. I have scarring from shoulder to shoulder and my entire chest"! She then said she couldn't do much but, she "...could give me $10 in Walgreen's rewards". I don't even respond. It wasn't about the monetary compensation, it was my life! I left before I flipped my lid with the obvious lack of concern and lackadaisical attitude. To add insult to injury, my granddaughter fell in the same store and the two employees, one being a supervisor named Doug watched as she fell a crowd her eyes out with no reaction or response at all! We went back k two days later and they at least filled the damaged floor. This store has gone down on customer service and customer care. It's time to change pharmacies before they really hurt someone or worse. read more

I called another Walgreens and I was able to place my refill so easy. Also I was lucky enough one day to get someone over the phone ordered my refill, then I went to pick I up and not only they didn't have my order, they didn't have any of the medicine available at that time. i wasn't able to get my prescription because the pharmacy was closed on a day it was normally open. this happens way too often at this location. I was left to wait a couple of days for a prescription that I really needed. I would have transferred the prescription to a different location but it wasn't allowed because of the kind of medication it was. I really needed this prescription. Do better! Beware this Walgreens. If you take any kind of controlled substance, be sure to COUNT your pills before you leave. They will short you by a few every time. Their manager, Jonathon, does not care and will insist they are right. The first few times, I let it go, but it happened again yesterday...shorted by 7 pills. I count them because of how often this has happened. I have to use Walgreens for medicare, but I am switching locations to see if that helps. This NEVER happened at CVS. DO NOT GO TO THIS PHARMACY!!! I had to switch to Walgreens due to insurance. Each and every single time they have told me my meds are ready and I get there and told it will be another HOUR AND A HALF. (After waiting in line for 25 minutes). This has happened 3 times. My med count for a NARCOTIC was missing 2 pills. My doctor has had to call them multiple times to literally babysit them to make sure they get my prescriptions. She filled them FOUR days ago and I call to see if they're ready (because they never are) and they tell me "oh we've been out of those for weeks now" NO ONE TOLD ME. No one reached out. Nothing. Spoke with the "manager" who said "we're going through a transitional phase" I have now transferred to the Walgreens on 64th St and Greenway. They are so kind and actually care about their customers. I called the pharmacy today to check on a prescription that was sent to be filled over a week ago to check when it was going to be in stock. Instead of staying on the automated hold they pick up the phone and immediately put me on a different hold with different music, not saying anything. After two minutes this music stops and then it defaults to ringing, and no one ever picks up. I sat with it ringing for 6 minutes the second time before I called and talked to the store manager. He took awhile to understand what I was saying and then said he was going to transfer me back over and cut me off midsentence and just sent me back to the phone line. Where AGAIN they picked up and immediately put me back on a new hold that lasted two minutes with music before it defaulted again to RINGING. The issue with this is when you are sitting with a phone ringing after you have already been on hold.. how are you in any sort of queue? How do you know it is even working? I have called this pharmacy many times and this has never happened before. My only thought is that they are trying to game their hold times with Walgreens corporate by "answering" and putting us back on hold immediately. I am as of now sitting listening to the ringing AGAIN for over 5 minutes now, refusing to hang up until I speak to someone. read more

So impressed with Michael the pharmacy technician and manager who helped us obtain a much needed prescription where the insurance billing was hugely complex. He was patient and reassuring throughout the scary process and should be considered a highly valued employee of Walgreens. It is miraculous when you find people like Michael to help you. read more

Pharmacy finally got rid of the horrible women they had working-now they have some young guy -don't know his name. Called Saturday May 28th to tell me my prescription is ready he verified all 3 we're ready for pick up and he said I'll make sure the pharmacy knows you're coming to get all 3. I had waited a week to get them. Show up today 6/1/2022 The pharmacy tells me the one the guy called about was turned back in. Waited a week now sitting here waiting 15 minutes for them to refill. Luckily the new staff is awesome and even though they were busy he got me taken care of and apologized. read more

Avoid the photo center like a plague, ordered print out of photos at 2 PM in the afternoon delivery or pick up time per website 4:30 PM. I arrived past 5 PM to be greeted by a rude employee after not responding to multiple overhead calls for customer service at the Photo Booth, to be told the photos were not printed Yet and giving attitude for not meeting there offer on time. The cleanest, neatest store I've ever seen! I just recently switched from CVS to Walgreens for my prescriptions, and I was noticing how clean and shiny the floors were when I was there. Then, I started looking around at the shelves, and they were METICULOUS! Every product is lined up in straight rows, and every sale sticker is neatly placed and also aligned in a row! I was impressed. It takes a little extra time to give this much attention to detail, and it shows! The manager must be OCD! But, in a good way. Inventory is always full and fresh looking. I will start shopping there for all the things I used to buy at CVS. The employees are always friendly and helpful. read more

The pharmacy has the absolute worst customer service. They are all so rude! The prescription is never ready so after you wait 15 minutes to get to the window they will tell you it's gonna be another 15 so to go to the back of line or come back. Tonight I was told over the phone that my prescription would be ready in 3 minutes so I packed up all four kids and head up there. This was after I had already waited 6 hours because they messed up the insurance. When I got to the window the pharmacist said it was going to be 15 minutes. I told him the pharmacist on the phone said it would be ready. He rudely said, "yah well the counter got busy so your 3 minutes turned to 15." Could have easily said sorry we got busy. Tuesday night pharmacist is rude and cares nothing about customer service... snapped at me when I said I had new insurance because he had already rung me up in the drive through (maybe if you let me tell you after barking "name!?" and then walking away...) Then put my ID card, insurance card and debit card on top of the plastic bag my meds were in, so that they all fell out into the street and under my car when the drawer came out.... gave me a dirty look when it happened then walked away.... After calling NINE different pharmacies to fill a prescription I needed rather promptly, I was really frustrated... on a whim, I pulled through this Walgreens' drive-through expecting them to also be unable to fill my prescription. Low and behold, they actually had both of my prescriptions in stock! My lucky day :) The guy who helped me (Matthew?) was incredibly helpful and filled the prescription quickly. So happy! read more
