Terrible pharmacy!!!!! I came here today st 1:30pm with 4 prescriptions for my mother who just had surgery. The Registered Store Manager took my order and told me to pick up at 3pm. At 3pm I return to get the prescriptions and they only have 1 of them. They said that I only dropped off 1 prescription!!! I expressed my frustration becauae they did not apologized nor acted as if they cared. I had to wait an additional 45min for the other prescriptions to be filled. Meanwhile my mother is in pain without meds. By far the worse experience I have ever had in a pharmacy. DO NOT use this pharmacy. read more

This location is nice. I went here to pick up a vanilla Coke. I walked here from the Shops at Tanfran mall. It was worth the walk.

24 hour walgreens. The location is pretty convenient. It's located next to multiple restaurants, a trader joes, along with a safeway. Parking can be a bit of hassle on the weekends or in the afternoon/early evenings. The cashiers at this walgreens are a little slow in ringing up customers, but other than that it's just a typical walgreens. read more

Although the website now allows you to order a cd with up to 500 photos on it when checking out it charges an additional charge for each cd. We have nearly 850 photos which required 2 separate orders and instead of 6.99 per cd they were now $34.00. I can't believe the website is so bad as you have to create different orders for each cd order over 500 photos. This store assured us they could burn the cds. We went to the store and they said they could not burn CD's. read more

Sanjay the head pharmacist was very helpful in explaining the flu shot and other health services to me. When my insurance got declined he even took the time to call my insurance to find out wtf is going on. I recommend coming to this pharmacy read more

I can't believe the atrocious condition of the products at this Walgreens. I bought ice cream that had ice crystals in, ice cream that had melted, milk that was sour, salad that gave me food poisoning, and chocolates that had been opened which I did not realize until I got home. I even found chocolates that had melted in their clear plastic boxes and when I pointed it out to the shop assistant, he said "It's alright." That manager has been refunding my money, but I am fed up making two trips (one to buy and one to refund spoilt items) to the store each time. I am tired of this and will never go back. read more

What can I say, it's Walgreens in San Bruno. Expect to find any of your every day stuff there like cosmetics, toiletries, cleaning stuff, magazines and things along those lines. The store is big and has parking which is a plus. The store is dated, in fact I don't think it's changed in the last 20 years. The bathroom was a little scary, but at least they had one. Some odd people working there, but nice enough. Not the nicest Walgreens or the cleanest, but sufficient. read more

Little bit of a wait time, but the pharmacist Sanjay and pharmacist technician Jason were super nice, knowledgable, and took their time with me. Jason made sure I got my magazine coupon and I overheard him on the phone trying to get the best deal for another customer. read more

I love Walgreens! They have everything I need from face wash to Zycam to macaroni and cheese. I can't even tell you how many times I've gone there to get a last minute gift that I simply ran out of time to shop for. You can get the gift, the bag, the tissue, the card, and they will even let you borrow their pen. The only thing I don't like is that the Zyrtec is under lock and key, and it can be a pain to find someone to open the case for you. read more

Came here to resolve issues with my clipper card (negative balance bc I forgot to tap off) waited in line for 10 minutes then was told only the photo station can handle clipper cards... Uh..okay.. Where is the sign that says that? The employees at the photo station are just not bright - can't answer basic questions such as what's the minimum balance I must have on my card? When asked to speak to the store manager he didn't even try to listen to me pretty much told me all issues about clipper card just call their customer service. TERRIBLE! read more

The pharmacy department is wonderful as are the staff that work at the windows. As far as the store itself, it always looks like it is going out of business - the shelves are rarely stocked. The Walgreens in South City is much, much nicer !! read more

I print pictures Atleast once a month here of my daughter, sometimes you have to wait a few minutes for someone to come help you but other than the photo area.. Really, I didn't had to walk into a big store like Target somedays because Walgreen had the same common's items. One of the big things, I like to do is get soda. Just rarely they have a good deal on it. I did do one hour photos, and it took more than one hour, but I can't complain as they did burn me a CD to upload the photos on my PC. This location is fine, but the outside is somewhat a favorite place for homeless people to ask for money. They come there often. read more

Update: My doctor advised me to find another pharmacy that won't lose a prescription since they don't have time to cater and call instead of faxing. The excuse the head pharmacist gave me was that we can't depend on a machine. Hello? Wake up, it's 2015! My dr then faxed a prescription into the Walgreens on Westborough.. five minutes later they confirmed they recieved it. TIP: go there instead! read more

Don't order Christmas cards from this pathetic excuse for a photo center. I ordered premium cards online with a pick up date a week away. I received a receipt email. On the supposed day, I called to see if they were in. The clerk said they had a system outage and never received the order, yet online, the order was received. The premium cards are done elsewhere and then they are sent to the SB location. There was no communication between the online service that gave me a receipt with a ready date and the San Bruno store. The customer is left with no knowledge that they were not processed. I'll go back to having my cards printed by Shutterfly. Walgreens can't compete. read more

It is such a small store...yet it was really hard to locate any item....WEIRD. the woman behind the counter did not speak a lick of english...isn't that a requirement?? Walgreens Pharmacy - I've been going to the pharmacy at this Walgreens for years and was satisfied with their service. Several years ago, I noticed that their service started going downhill - e.g. 4+ days to let me know there's an issue with my prescription, 4+ days to notify my doctor if they need prior approval, and then, only AFTER I went into the store to find out the cause for delay, unclear and incorrect information about issues with my prescription leaving me to do their job to put requests to my insurance and doctor to provide Walgreens with the necessary information and approval for my prescription, incorrect charges (65% more co-pay than I needed to according to my insurance), long lines and very slow service, especially after 5pm. I don't expect wonderful customer service from a pharmacy (no, they don't need to know me by my first name or even ask me how I'm doing) but I do expect that they are reasonably responsive, prompt, provide correct information and instructions for resolving issues, and that they do their job by contacting my doctor and insurance should any issues come up; not leave me to do their job for them. Though this pharmacy is very convenient for me, I will be moving my prescription to another, although farther, pharmacy. read more

That is the worst pharmacy ever. It doesn't matter when you come to pick up the medication the waiting time is about 30 mins, on a good day. One star is even too much for this pharmacy. read more

But first I'd like to say that in my 4 years of coming to the store Ness and maybe one other manager has been helpful and certainly not the Asian manager guy nor the tiny little Latino guy does the register with a nasty scawel on his face at night. But I'll save that for another review, So as I often do going to Walgreens check out the sales plan my shopping strategy, so on April 27th around 3 p.m. I walk in grab a sales paper, total time in the store was about 20 seconds do the walk out of the store with the water bottle that I did bring in the store at the counter was three customer service representatives, and I believe the young lady from the Cosmetic Department her name is Jas. Or something along those lines proceeded to yell from the counter aren't you going to pay for that before you leave.Me not knowing who she was referring to proceeded to exit and then turn around to hear her screaming "yes you,"at which point I informed her ,,oh this water is already paid for, she then asked for my receipt, Now as embarrassing as that was I had to let her know that it was not purchased at Walgreens, so why is she investigating so deeply. Really wanting to go there with her however is she was indignant did not call for me although being right I had every right to display and exercise some outlandish Behavior back in her Direction. So I decided just to exercise a little diplomacy and ask her if she would like to check the camera cuz I did have a little time on my hand at that point she declined however that was not going to be the end of it ,by no stretch. Couple days later I did go back in the Walgreens and happen to run into my favorite helpful manager /do it all person and I believe her name is Ness who I informed about the situation and through that decided to the even take it a step further to see if Walgreens even carry the brand of water that I had and of course they don't even carry it. So it's been several times that I've gone in there prior to this incident and if the line is too long I will always check the camera department or the cosmetics and going to the Cosmetics is always a hassle because the young lady acts like you're bothering her when you come into the store or to her counter. And any time that I've ever been into customer service I thought it was my job to make the customer feel the opposite. I guess gone are the good old days. But I guess one thing that's not gone is ignorance so the first thing as you should know your product and what you sell number one for 2 if you don't know what you're talking about do a little investigation first and not accusation.The 1star is for the 1 star in the place *Ness*. read more

Tall Asian assistant manager is a complete jacka$$, he is arrogant and a complete jerk when I asked him where a certain product was. Good thing I looked at the expiration dates on the medication because the first 3 products on the shelf were expired. HELLO this could be harmful!! I have returned to this pharmacy so far three times to have a prescription for my chronic back pain. The first time I dropped off the prescription, the second time I came into the store to inquire about the prescription the pharmacy and staff told me my doctor needed to fill out an additional form due to Walgreen procedures, the third time I came into the store on 3-29 after I received a automated prescription phone call received on 3-24, telling me the prescription was ready for pick up. After spending 45 minutes with the pharmacy staff only to be they restocked my prescription since I did not pick it up in seven days, I reminded the pharmacy staff when I received the automated phone call was on 3/24 and today was 3/29 that means it was five days. The pharmacists was then going refill my prescription, however could not fill it because it needed prior authorization from workmen comp, really can you be that stupid. Each time I go back to have the prescription filled they staff tells me some other new procedure that needs to have prior to pick up the prescription. The staff does not seem to understand that by explaining to the customer the first time when dropping off the prescription about Walgreen paperwork or policies that would go a long way in allowing the customer to help in obtaining the paperwork. It appears this Walgreens pharmacy staff really enjoys wasting your time. Sanjay is the only person in the pharmacy that knows what is going on, has customer service skills and gets things done. This Walgreens pharmacy staff have no customer service skills, don't understand your prescription needs and have a bad attitude to boot. Avoid this Walgreens at all costs. read more

This Walgreen is wack! It's been two weeks and my prescription still isn't ready. Last time they only had 1/3 orders of a prescription and still charged me for all 3... Worst pharmacy I've ever been to! First time I dealt with them my daughter at one month had medical and needed a prescription filled they did not give us the prescription with the card the doctor told us to use because she would not have the new one until she is about 3-4 months which is standard for infant child. Now they insisted that we had this card n I.d number which we didn't and didn't bother to even help by calling the medical people. After I paid about $80.00 I later called medical again n they said that's the only I.d for the baby until the card comes. Now when the card does come they said to take it there n get a refund. N I will never use them again. They are careless to people in need and seem to be occupied with other things than their job. Never again now I go to Safeway with the same card n have no issues! read more

I have had enough. I have given this Walgreens chance after chance and I once again got slapped in the face. I use their pharmacy to get my prescriptions and they are suppose to be only $10 and every time I have to pay the entire cost of the medication. I tried talking to someone about it but to no avail. this wallgreens pharmacy is a complete disaster .you can wait to pick up your prescription anywhere from 10 minutes to 30 minutes .there is no help at the counter . they are too cheap to hire additional people. if you dont believe me stand in line like the rest of us fools .i had to relocate to another one today 3 miles away . read more
