So close to my house, RUDE staff. I don't know what and how they hire .. but it never fails these people are beyond rude.. the other night the cash register was acting up and the line was getting long . The young man ringing me up was perhaps in his 20's and acting like a 13 year old with me.. nerdy looking dude ..(NOT THE SKINNY nerdy guy,he is super nice but i don't think he works here anymore..sad i know!!) ..this other kid is white/chubby I was being really nice until he went off on me .. he raised his voice made a scene , the entire line looking at us.. telling me how i don't know how to use his ATM machine .. he seriously went off on me telling me "its YOU!", your doing something to it!".. WTF i have been to this same Walgreens at least hundreds of times used the same machine but i did something to your machine ..????! He insist i only touch the screen when he says so.. and keeps saying out loud "WAIT DON'T TOUCH IT!!" finally the darn thing works and he looks at me like as though he was right?... LMAO really? yes this is too long of a review for place like this ..but I've never been treated like a child this kid has serious issues i hope he can fix his attitude before he treats others this way.. I have been using this Walgreens pharmacy monthly for nearly 15 years for medications. The team there has never once let me or my family down. They are caring, effective, efficient and get it right. They go the proverbial extra mile if needed to get approvals for insurance or MDs. This is the "A Team." I've always received instructions that are clear and helpful about new medications. I could not recommend this pharmacy or the staff more highly. read more

Worst Walgreens ever. I've never been treated like a criminal before for buying heartburn medication anytime, anywhere, ever in my life. This is nuts. Packages are all busted up and clearly already opened. Really rude employees. Just, wow. Never coming back. Update: it gets worse! When I got home to take the aforementioned heartburn meds, I discovered that they were missing! They didn't even give them to me! After all that! So I had to back out to the store (clearly not this one) to buy heartburn meds all over again. Two stars because I hardly give anything one star. Seems clean enough, there were items on the shelves, and the lights were on. read more

I love this Walgreens! Very fast! Your prescriptions are filled in less than 15 minutes if you are waiting on them. The pharmacy staff are so kind and helpful. They have always made me feel wonderful and treated me with respect. They also caught a medication error that could have been catastrophic due to me having an allergy to the medication and the doctor writing it without looking at the chart. Thank you so much !! Also the front workers are so friendly and will make you laugh. They are helpful and never fail to fin what I cannot find. Thank you to this Walgreens! Your the Best!! read more

Update: After writing my relatively glowing review, I had a terrible experience at this location. When the pharmacy opens at 8 AM, there is just a pharmacist on staff. I've had a couple of great ones (hence remaining stars), but not this week. The pharmacist, a middle aged Asian male, refused to accept a prescription I had filled at their location many times because he didn't like how the "3" for March was written by my doctor. I understand that there are laws and they need to cover their butts, but in this instance, the rejection was unreasonable. He called my doctor's office (which little did he know I was doing in parallel), and claimed I had to go back to get it rewritten (another significant trip out of my way) and that my doctor's office had agreed. I spoke to the doctor's office manager, who knows me as a patient, and she told me she and my doctor had disagreed with the pharmacist - they thought the script was all good and found him to be both rude and overly stringent. They knew it was a product of notoriously bad doctor handwriting and said that any other pharmacist they've worked with would have approved. They also mentioned a history of this pharmacist making things unnecessarily difficult for several of their patients. I spent an hour and twenty minutes trying to sort this out, making me late for work. In all, my blood pressure was up for the rest of the day and I had to spend another hour getting it rectified to his specifications. Patients need care and have lives to lead, so quit obstructing for the hell of it. Whoever knows this guy's schedule, comment here so we can avoid at all costs. The Pharmacy is incompetent, disorganized and rude. They called me 5-days after the doctor sent a prescription to say the RX was on back order - 5 days!! Then the call and say my prescription is ready to pick-up and when I get there, the pharmacy tells me it's is not ready. Makes you wonder if they really know what medicines are what. is it possible to give zero stars? that's how many this dump deserves. i called requesting a prescription refill on thursday, expecting it to be ready today, monday. when i received no call from them telling me it was or wasn't ready i called to see what was up. some bitchy pham tech answered and was very short with me. she could only tell me that my prescription had been cancelled and couldn't tell me why. getting her to re-issue it was like pulling teeth, and in the middle of a question, she hung up on me! i get it. i know, she's probably totally underpaid and overworked. but christ. have some respect for your customers. i called back to get her name and talk to a manager, but lo and behold not a single moron in the pharmacy department knew who was took my call, or who even was working tonight. it took me calling back yet again and waiting on hold for fifteen minutes for a floor manager (someone who doesn't work in the pharmacy) to get the names of everyone working there. thank god it wasn't heart medication or something else i seriously needed. i ended up transferring my prescription to target. read more

Came here to pick up my prescription that my doctor had called in. The pharmacist was pretty professional and explained to me how to use it. I was able to pay for it right there so I was in and out in 5 minutes. That's the way I like it! read more

Went searching for hair ties, orange ribbon and black liquid eye liner (all for a Halloween costume) and found all three. Layout seemed strange to me, as I'm used to shopping at CVS, but it was functional and I easily found all I needed. Checkout girl was very friendly. Parking is easy. This is the worst walgreens pharmacy! I have automatic refill and it never is filled when I go in to pick it up. On top of NOT being acknowledged for minutes as the staff does everything in their power not to make eye contact! It's ridiculous a simple"Hi! Just one moment please!" They made me fill out forms and wait for 15 mins then the pharmacist tells me she will be with me in 2 seconds and I wait another 10 minutes and she's helping people check out so I left. This one star is targeted at the photo lab's competence. Now maybe there are some employees that are trained in that department at that particular Walgreen's but everytime I'm there, there is this one man, around his 50's or 60's I' d say, behind the counter that is definitely not trained at all. When I went to have my video cassettes transfered to DVD he slowly looks around for the envelopes that they go in seeming a bit lost. He couldn't find them and he was going to write on a small scrap piece of paper my information. How unprofessional was that and I told him so. He said to me "Take it somewhere else then". I did just that and went to another Walgreen's, the one on San Carlos St. in San Jose.They are very polite and well trained and after seeing how the procedure is done I know for sure my tapes would have been either lost or some other problems would have arisen if I l had left them there with him like an idiot. Everytime I see him he looks lost and definetely incompetent and on top of all that he stinks to high heaven. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT use the photo lab at that Walgreen's. The Walgreen's on San Carlos St. is not that far from there and they are excellent. read more

I've visited this walgreens quite a few times now and ive never had a bad visit. The pharmacy is always busy during the week but comes up with simple solutions to simple problems. All in all, i would say that this has been one of the most pleasureable experiences ive had at any walgreens. read more

I needed a passport photo. Their banner said "Instant Passport Photos" I was told it would take five minutes. Great! When they went to print it they said that there was another print job ahead of it and it would take 20 minutes. "Is there a way to override and change the order of the print jobs?" "No." "Oh, OK." Twenty minutes later... "The job ahead of you is only half way done. Do you want to just go to another Walgreen's?" I figured that by the time I went to another Walgreeen's I might have just as well waited another 20 minutes there, so I waited. It ended up taking an hour for the print job ahead of my pictures. They did comp the pictures and gave me a $10 gift card. Just be aware that instant passport pictures might not be quite so instantaneous. read more

I went here to get my passport photo taken. All I want to say is, avoid this place at any cost if you want a good passport photo. There are other better places. They have an old camera they use and have no professional photographer who takes your photo. Person who took my photo told me that, I will have to come back in an hour or so to get my photo. I was really disappointed with my photo. After walking out of the store and reaching the parking lot, I realized that I don't want the photo and I should go somewhere else. When I went back inside to cancel the order, turned out my photos were already ready. Too bad for me. Overall, I would say avoid this place for passport photos. read more

Countless bad experiences ranging from delays in filling prescriptions to ridiculously long lines waiting to pick up. But the most frustrating part is that every time they have to re-enter our insurance info even though nothing has changed. That takes another five minutes of waiting. Today it took me about 30 min to pick up a prescription that was READY! I'm off to find another pharmacy. read more

They deserve a minus 10! I have had bad experiences with their pharmacy before, but it took the cake today! Marianne at the pharmacy should be fired immediately, she said that my Dr. had not emailed back with my prescription and went off to see if they had "another option". When she came back, she said that she did have my Dr's email, but they didn't have the medicine I needed in stock. So I said, oh so my Dr. did email you, and you never contacted me, so she raised her voice to me and said that my Dr. had delayed in answering the email, and "so do you want me to order the prescription, or NOT?" Really, that is no way to talk to a customer, then it just escalated from there, and she stormed off. Last time I visit this store! Horrid manners and worse customer service. She told the Asian bald guy to help me, he didn't move, nor did he do anything to alleviate the mess. I asked for the manager, no one was called. So I left with my other prescription, unrung. read more
