This store is consistently dirty, rundown, and generally trashy. The shelves are half empty. Anything that you want is behind lock and key and you need to wait forever for an attendant. Though it is located in a very nice neighborhood, the store is a disaster. It should either be extensively renovated or closed. I drive a couple of miles out of the way just to avoid going there. read more

This Pharmacy is HORRIBLE and people are unprofessional. No one answers the phone and a simple prescription takes hours. Will NOT use this pharmacy and doesn't recommend anyone use it. This is a goto location for my immediate family because it is within one mile of our house. It is also a goto location for my in-laws. Earlier this afternoon my wife went in to buy a few items for her classroom. I also needed a few items. While shopping I asked an employee (Daenasia or something similar) if I could use the restroom. Without making eye contact she turned away and said,"We ain't got no restroom." I stated that there is a restroom. I've used it before on several occasions. Before I could let her know that I am a Type II diabetic with overactive bladder due to my medication (Jardiance) which gives me immediate and untimely urge to urinate, she continued to walk away. I asked her if I could use the restroom that I used before she said it's not for public use. As I tried to tell her my situation she yelled," I don't care." I told her how rude she was. I also told her that she didn't have the decency to look at me so I could explain. She stopped her transaction and just stared at me. I told her that she was simple minded and unprofessional. She is, by far, the most unprofessional, apathetic and unconcerned employee that I have ever dealt with in any professional setting. This was the most ridiculous encounter I have ever had by anyone in the service business. As a Walgreen's reward member, I will never set foot in another Walgreen's store. I will make sure that everyone who I come in contact with, family or not, knows about this specific Walgreen's facility. read more

For the second time this year, I have had a pharmacy staff worker hang up on me. This last time, it was while asking for assistance for transfer of a prescription for a medication they no longer carried. I urge everyone to not use this pharmacy, despite there being one pharmacist there who seems to be good. read more

If I could give a negative star I would. The pharmacy customer service is the worst. When picking up my prescription I gave them my new insurance card and they said it wasn't valid. I paid full price for my script and had my insurance company call to sort out. Still wait I g got reimbursement. Next time I visited to pick up script through drive thru waited 30 minutes before anyone would come to the window with 6 cars behind me. Going to switch to Rite Aid! read more

I have patronized the Walgreens at Van Aken for about 20 years, or since they opened at Van Aken and Warrensville. The service has seriously declined during this time. The past 2 times I have gone there the lines were long (8 or 9 people in 2 lines with only 1 cashier) and their stock of personal care items is always out. Tonight, 7/21 at 7:50 I went in to pick up some photos. I pushed the button and a few minutes later a woman said i will be right with you. She proceeded to go to the regular cashier line and wait on people there with another cashier. Then she waited on every person that came after me. After that she walkded to the back of the store. 15 minutes later, she came back and very nastily asked me what I want. I told her photos for (my last name). Then she said what is your last name? I told her again. She practically threw the photos at me. Then instead of checking me out, she told me I had to go to the regular cashier line which I have never had to do for photos only. This store has seriously declined and no, you can't blame covid. The Walgreens at Warrensville and Cedar is well stocked, the employees are polite and service is swift. read more

This Walgreens is super close to my apartment, so it's usually where I stop whenever I need ANYTHING in a hurry. Also, I've noticed that pretty much everyone I've interacted with who works here is exceptionally nice and friendly - pleasant surprise! It was an ok pharmacy a lot of snack and drink options but there was a long line at the register and it was moving pretty slow but I did leave my drink I was getting unattended for at least 15 seconds and no one stole it so that is a plus. read more
