In case anyone runs into a problem transferring their Suboxone prescriptions between pharmacies in WA State, refer to the text below. I had asuboxone prescription transferred from Mercer Island Walgreens to IssaquahWalgreens without issue;..the pharmacy tech and manager and it was impossible. (They have the ability to confirm all this in their database but egos are clearly a thing here.) I said you're either not up to date on the revised laws OR, You're lying to me because it likely results in more work. Super offended he hung up the phone. LOL, Okay. Here's the prescription transfer info... .Yes, you can transfer your Suboxone (a Schedule III controlled substance) prescription between two Walgreens in Washington State, thanks to new DEA rules allowing a one-time electronic transfer between pharmacies, but it must be handled directly by the pharmacists, and the new Walgreens must be able to fulfill it and be in WA, allowing for easy transfer via Walgreens' app/website or in-person request, according to GoodRx, DEA.gov, and Walgreens read more

I am pretty much done with this pharmacy. I just waited for over an hour on hold for an urgent request regarding my blood pressure medication. (I wasn't able to drive to the pharmacy in person) I hung up, and was put in the queue again and finally gave up after another 30 minutes. They appear to be consistently understaffed, which is not a reflection of the actual staff who I am sure work hard, but of the corporation itself. I dont think I can put my health in the hands of a company who dont prioritize pharmacy staff. read more

Walgreens is the most incompetent pharmacy and the people working there are doing their best with the worst system in place. Made an appointment for a Covid vaccine. Was sent a check in text message. Filled in everything and the screen said "you are checked in! We will call your name when ready". Sat for 30 minutes and they tell another person they are OUT OF VACCINES. I tell them I have been waiting since 10am. They ask if I checked in and I said yes, I checked in through the link. They said I have to check in at the desk. There is no sign saying this. The only information I was sent was that I could check in through this link. How was I supposed to know to that I needed to double check in? Staff was apologetic but there's nothing they can do with the system they are given. I hate it here. We are living in The Bad Place. read more

If I could give this Walgreens, a half star I would! I have tried to fill prescriptions here multiple times and every time I'm told for one reason or another they're unable to fill a prescription. It's insane how hard it is to get them to want to fill a prescription.. You can't drop off a prescription if they don't have it in stock because the pharmacist "doesn't want to hold onto the prescription until it comes in." What????? Does that make any business sense at all? ! I will never go here again! I recommend you not waste your time because they will have a reason why they are unable to help you. read more

Went to pharmacy drive thru and waited 10 mins while person got on phone and off 3 times while I waited. Went inside and waited about half the time. I rarely give 1 star but the last three times I had a prescription called in to the pharmacy all three were "not found" by the staff. The last incident took 2 days to get a common antibiotic script filled. When asked what we can do differently to get a better result no response was forthcoming. Einsteins theory of crazy kicked in (doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results) and we are now doing business with Walgreens competitors. read more

Called me an hour and a half before the appointment to tell me they don't have it in stock. I was told someone would call me back. I've bee using this pharmacy for a long time and to be honest they are terrible about refills on medications. I worked very hard to get all my meds on the same pick up schedule and this pharmacy screws it up every time. They have a nasty habit putting medications, that are already filled and ready, back on the shelf while waiting for other medications to process meaning they have to fill those prescriptions all over again... All in all find a different pharmacy if you want your medications filled promptly and correctly. read more

The store was grubby (literally trash on the ground, old med depository bin was full with a sign that was misspelled), half the employees were wearing chin masks (even in the pharmacy area) The store manager, Brent Ryan (who also couldn't seem to keep his mask up over his nose) was incredibly rude to an employee behind the counter with him. Do you think you're invisible back there, Brent? If I was that employee I would've quit on the spot. There was no reason for you to be that rude and that loud. I had to fill out paperwork and the clip board was basically tossed toward me on the counter. It was so disorganized, unpleasant, and time-consuming. I will never go back in. This store sucks! Never has anything stocked it's beyond frustrating that my go-to store for the past 10 years has gone to the shitter. Their ID everyone rule is ridiculous im almost 50 years old go there at least 4x week and the one time I left my drivers license they refused service of cigarettes like seriously? THE WORST pharmacy and pharmacist I have ever encountered! SO rude! Even my doctor said this pharmacist was the most arrogant and argumentative man he's ever spoken with. He thinks he knows better than your doctor, and will refuse to fill meds and argue with you about your prescriptions. The head pharmacist is an Asian male, low 40s if I had to guess-simply for identification purposes so someone can hold him accountable! Take your business elsewhere. TLDR: PHARMACY IS USELESS! My daughter is in urgent need of some medication, not life threatening but urgent. We took her to urgent care and the prescription was sent several hours ago. The pharmacist with no tact said 'It might be ready today but probably not'. No offer to send it to a different pharmacy, just an explanation that they are short-staffed. I know there are staffing shortages all over the place but this is just not a workable solution if you need a prescription filled. This is NOT how all pharmacies are operating. read more

Absolute worst customer experience in my life (along with some really great customer service by one employee). Visited with my 9 year old daughter who was buying some makeup. Me being a dad I don't know anything about makeup and a very nice tatooed lady with glasses offered to help and she was awesome. She helped my daughter pick a few items and she even gave us a coupon! We even bought more than we expected to because she was so helpful. Big Kudos to her. Everyone was super happy. Then we go to pay and get up to the cashier, she starts ringing it up and takes the coupon from my daughter. Then opens it up and starts going trough all the pages. I say, "it was the one on top, the girl in the back just gave it to us. She replies "I know my products" with a super snotty attitude, I'm like, whatever. So she goes, "You need to put in your membership number" or whatever they have there, I don't know, I don't go there often., so I type in my phone number and it doesn't work, apparently I don't have a membership points account or whatever so I start typing in my wifes phone number. She goes to say (again in a snotty voice), "if you don't have a number you cant use the coupon". I don't even care about the friggin coupon at this point and just want to pay, but in a normal voice I say, "I'm trying another number right now". She says again very loud and nasty way, "well you don't have to be rude about it!" I was floored! I said "excuse me?" She repeated even nastier, "you don't have to be rude about it!". Still in shock, I say "you have been rude to me this entire time, I just wanted to pay and leave, who is your manager?" She replies, again loudly, I am the manager! Well, She was making a scene, so I finished the scene with a big "GO #uc# yourself. And left. I have never been treated like that in my life in a customer service transaction. Let me join the chorus of those suggesting zero stars is appropriate for this location. I dropped off a prescription to fill at 8am Saturday. The pharmacist asked me when I'd like to have it. I said I would come back that afternoon, and that, since I was leaving town for the holiday, that I needed it by the end of the day Saturday anyway. That timing was acknowledged and I left. I got a text message that my order had been accepted. Rather than just biking back to the store, I figured best to call first. There's apparently no way publicly to get a live person. A robot recognized my phone number, said "we're working on your prescription request" and to "check back in an hour". I called at least five more times Saturday, including just before they close at 10pm. Same auto-response. Here we are on Monday afternoon, more than 48 hours later, and I got bupkus from these folks. Glad that my case was not an emergency! Really folks, if someone says they need something by a certain time, and you know it can't happen, then you should inform the customer. I usually go to Bartells, but their pharmacy doesn't open until 9am Saturday, and I needed to run other errands, so figured I'd try this Walgreen's location. Never again! What good is an appointment when no one shows up. Had a 9:30 AM appointment for a COVID test. Was asked to "please come back because the tech was running late". This was despite the fact that the pharmacy opened at 9:00 AM. What a bunch of jokers. Do yourself a favor and go to the Sprague location which is actually staffed. I bet these jokers will still submit for payment even though no one was there to keep my actual appointment. Now I have to take off work a 2nd time to take test elsewhere. Getting my meds here is a new challenge every month. Been going here for 5 years and their system still makes no sense. I'm currently withdrawing from my meds bc my doctor sent the prescription 6 days ago but for some reason the pharmacy didn't fill it.I called and said I needed it ASAP, they said they'd have it ready by 5. Pharmacy closes with no word. I call late the next morning in tears & the pharmacist was rude and said it'd be ready "later today." I understand being busy but you can't mess around with meds, don't say it'll be ready one day then fail to do it. I'm suffering the consequences of their incompetence. Definitely will be switching pharmacies as soon as I can. Choose a different pharmacy if you can. read more

As someone who has been taking medication regularly nearly my entire adult life- the couple of experiences I've had here with the Pharmacist and her staff are by far the most negative I've ever had at any pharmacy (ever). The type of attitudes that should no longer be "serving" the public, especially when it comes to folks in need of medication(s). My 6 year old son was prescribed a new ADHD medication (non stimulant) and I was in between insurances for about a week. My son's provider gave me a discount rx card to hopefully assist with the costs since she knows I'm a single parent, on a single income, and out of pocket prescriptions can be COSTLY. So I go through the drive thru and Pharmacy Tech tells me my total will be around $300 for 2 medications (and one is only a partial 5 day fill because they didn't have enough in stock), I said "I have a discount card I'd like to apply to the amount, I can't afford that..." she responded with "we already applied whatever was sent over". I said "It was sent over from Kaiser because I used their pharmacy when I had insurance and I no longer am insured with Kaiser (new insurance didn't start til 12/1), they don't accept RX discounts so it's not possible for them to send that info over." The tech then proceeded to argue with me. Then I turned over to the passenger seat to place the RX card in the bin for her to look at/apply. and she had just walked away without saying anything... no other patients were there. I then picked up the phone in the drive thru to ask for assistance... the PHARMACIST picked it up and hung up on me. I then had to park my car, go inside, where the pharmacist admitted to hanging up on me. And they both proceeded to argue the point further. It's now nearly 9:00 pm and I've been dealing with this for about 30 minutes. I finally said "how about you just run the discount card regardless and if it saves me money, great, if not- then that's my bad." The Pharmacist ran it begrudgingly and low and behold it removed $80 from the price they originally charged me. No apology from either of them. I paid the amount and said "maybe $80 isn't much to you, but it is to Me, and to many other folks out here. This seems like a good learning opportunity in customer service for you both, if you would have originally run the discount card when I first asked we all would have saved 45 minutes of our time and you would be helping me not pay obscene rx costs for no reason". The Pharmacist made some snide comment and I just walked away at that point. How these folks can legally work in the Pharmacy Industry is beyond me. Looking into how to formally file a complaint with the state. If I could give 0 stars I would. I hate coming here to get my prescriptions. Service is ALWAYS terrible. They are SO SLOW. They have a disorganized system when it comes to reminder calls for automatic refills. One of my medications ran out of refills but I still received MULTIPLE reminder calls saying it was ready to go. I came to pick up and the lady was incredibly rude about it and says the automated calls don't know when refills are no longer available. Seems like they may want to fix that. read more

Matter of fact I'm writing this review while waiting for someone to get my pictures. I had some photos printed for my wedding, my mother picked them up and was verbally accosted by a complete dick. Not only did he try to not release my photos, he said that they looked professional, and when my mother called me to ask me about the pictures I told her that they were not professional, I had a friend take these photos, he then released them and said to my mom "they don't look very professional" as she was walking away.. This pharmacy doesn't deserve any star. The pharmacist there that I had the horrible experience with was a women of Asian decent that spoke broken English. I did not feel comfortable in her abilities of properly informing me on how to take my perception, what it will do for me, how it will effect me, nothing. I left confused and more worried than I did entering such place. She could not answer any of my questions I had nor complete a sentence without stumbling over her words. Please be aware if you are the type to inquire about something you will be putting in your body, see another pharmacist. Wow! Went in to pick up a prescription after my doctor had called it in; was expecting to have to wait a little bit for it but the employee on the pharmacy was SO rude. She yelled, "we just got the order and it says it'll be ready at 10:20!" An hour and half to fill a prescription??? I sarcastically said, thanks for being so courteous! And left. Worst pharmacy ever. Nobody seems to know what the other is doing. Two calls from my doctor, four trips to the store and five calls from me for a prior authorized drug, I finally get my prescription. Not having a very good start using this Walgreens. I took in three prescriptions on Friday at 11am that needed to be transferred from Safeway went back today (Monday) to pick them up. They had no record that I had even been in?? What happened to my three prescription bottles? Wondering if I will ever get my meds now after seeing other posts. Very sad and disappointed! read more

I'm very happy to have this pharmacy. I use them almost weekly, while the service is slow it is very accurate!! I change meds often, but this store and its pharmacy is right on top of my medications. They almost always (95%) have my meds in the right amount and on time!! The people are very friendly and helpful. I also hit many of their amazing sales... you can find all kinds of products at good prices. Walgreens is my go to store for many of my needs. Yes, I have used Bartells, rite Aide for my children's medicines , but their have confused, lost, misinformed and not filled even life saving meds for us. Walgreens is the Bomb!!! read more
