I was shopping at this Walgreens about 45 minutes ago when I had to suddenly run out to the parking lot because of an emergency involving my dog. I left the items I intended to purchase in the first aisle, which is covered by security cameras, so it would have been easy to verify what happened. When I returned to finish shopping for urgent medical supplies my boyfriend needed, the manager, who introduced himself as "Jaja" Omar (pronounced "Ya-Ya" Omar), immediately accused me of stealing, threatened to call the police, and ordered me to put my items down and leave the store. I did not steal anything. Instead of checking the security footage, he refused to investigate and chose to publicly accuse and embarrass me. I was a paying customer trying to complete a legitimate purchase, yet I was treated like a criminal without any evidence. This was one of the most unprofessional customer service experiences I've ever had. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and given the benefit of a proper investigation before being falsely accused. I will not be returning to this location, and based on my experience, I cannot recommend shopping here. read more

Bad place, not punctual employees, I waited a very long time for the opening of the pharmacy after 9:00 a.m.

Walgreen pharmacy is the worst place . They take forever to get med ready. Tell us this time but never ready by that time.

Came here for a vaccination for my 4 year-old even though we live in Renton. This was the closest place available when we went online. There are two windows; one for prescriptions and one for vaccination. We waited at the vaccination window while 3 people (two who arrived after us) were helped at the prescription window. I noticed 5 employees working. One worker at the drive through and one at the customer windows while 3 others worked in the back. Our 2:30 appointment was finally acknowledged at 2:35, about 12 minutes after we arrived. After completing paperwork it was another 15 minute wait before we were vaccinated. We do appreciate that they let us use the bathroom, which was closed to the public (but still surprisingly dirty). read more

This Walgreens pharmacy is potentially doing harm to the customers who rely on Walgreens to fill their prescriptions in a timely manner. They are closed early and often and are chronically in short supply of prescriptions and pharmacy employees. The last straw for me was finding out the pharmacy was closed for three days in a row when I needed antibiotics to treat a serious kidney infection. So when I was able to have the Rx sent to a different, open pharmacy, Walgreens had already billed my insurance (even though they weren't open). Long story short, I had to pay $88 for medicine that should cost $5 with insurance, and lagged so much in my antibiotic that my health was in danger. I know there could be supply issues and staffing shortages around the country, but I've noticed Rite Aid is fully staffed. Maybe Walgreens isn't paying people enough. read more

This is my neighborhood Walgreens. It's helped in a pinch quite a few times so I can't be too harsh. The only thing that gets me about this location is the SERVICE. They're usually pretty nice, but damn, they are sloooow. I've been here to send/receive money via Western Union and it's always a super tedious process. Then again, I'm apart of the generation that's tethered to Venmo and Cashapp, so maybe my millennial heart just needs to sit down and eat some avocado toast to settle my nerves. Service aside, the bathrooms here are terribly dirty. Do not use unless you might actually go on yourself. All that aside, I truly do love Walgreens. They've got cool products you won't typically find other places and they're awesome for shopping for small gifts (Valentine's Day, Easter, etc. - always a great selection). I mean, it's a Walgreens. Sheila at the Tukwila Walgreens is not professional at all. She embarrassed a child who was nearly having an accident and had to use the bathroom. I understand there is store policies and the fact she wouldn't come talk to me face to face and how she talks to her employees is so sad. I would or could never work for someone like her. I could hear her talking down to her staff on the other side of the phone. It's crazy because she allowed my husband to use the restroom 2 weeks ago when we were there but my 6 yr old niece could not use the restroom??? when I called her she was rude and showed no class at all. We came here to get a vaccine for my four year old. While we were waiting for the 15 minutes after the shot, my son had to use the bathroom. The pharmacy said we could get a code from the front register, but when we went up there the man working there refused to let him use the bathroom. My son ended up wetting his pants and was crying, and their staff person literally responded with a shrug. We won't be back. If Walgreens is going to offer vaccines to young children and they have to stay and wait afterward, they should be prepared to allow young kids to use the bathroom. read more

If I could put negative stars, I would I walked into this Walgreens tonight after not having even walked into the store in the last six months, I was immediately told that I had to leave with my service animal because apparently me and my service animal had been in the store the other day and pissed on the floor, which there was no way that could've happened because I haven't stepped foot in that place in months and months then the lady proceeded to try and say that I couldn't even be in there with a service animal so it changed from one story of you can't be in here cause your dog peed in here, and then the excuse changed to you can't have your service dog in here. Horrible! I got my covid test done here and they lost the specimen. I am a nurse and I needed the results to go back to work. Also they say they can't help you get your results although they are the ones doing the test! Well just so I could go to work I had to go and get another test at GS labs. GS labs is way better! I have come to this Walgreens everyday this week. Either they forgot to fill a medication, miscommunication, I called ahead to see if I can have a family member pick up my meds and was told yes. Then a medication wasn't given to the family member that showed up. I understand pharmacies are busy but to come almost 5x a week due to errors is a bit much. read more

The pharmacy is the worst. seems like their "system" is always down. I've had some meds refilled too often others I can't seem to get filled and have to have my dr call . They have even closed midday due to unforeseen issues. This can be life or death for some people. They are incredibly rude to my husband who is one long term pain meds. He goes to a pain clinic monthly for multiple issues do to a severe car wreck ( we were hit by a drunk driver ) yet they treat him Every Single Month likes ha is a junkie. He will call the day they are due and they tell him they won't be ready by midday , yet when I call they say 20 mins. We are truly Fed Up. read more

If I could rate this store a zero I would. This store used to be my go to Walgreens since it was the nearest one. This is also the drugstore where I always pick up my prescriptions. Unfortunately, I visited Walgreens Tukwila just today, February 23, 2019 to pick up my orders that I had placed online. I didn't have any idea how to pick it up, so I went to ask the cashier where can I get my orders online. She called her workmate at that time named Zuriya/Sureya/Zuriah (not sure how to spell her name because she didn't have a name tag) to help me. They asked me to go to photo printing section. So I did. This white lady named Zuriah treated me in a very RUDE way. Such a bad customer service! I don't know if its because of my race or what. She handed me my order like as if I ruined her day. This Walgreens was built less than 3 yrs ago, & is almost to the point where it looks ghetto. It's your typical Walgreens inside, but everything on the outside looks cheap & a little ghetto. For God sakes the neighborhood is so bad that corporate Walgreens didn't even give this Walgreens the typical glass facade. They have a sign concreted to the ground. Lol. That's because Tukwila residents don't take of even new stuff whence they get it. Hence the reason this place already looks jacked up. Service is fast, & the place is clean inside. I would rate this Walgreens a 1-star if it weren't for the lead cashier. Its not a 24-hour store, and this is the only Walgreens I have been to where the employees do not greet you with a welcome or a smile. Whatever happened to "the corner of happy and healthy"? I've been to this Walgreens on a few occasions. This Walgreens is smaller in size and carries a limited stock of items in comparison to the 24-hour Walgreens in Burien. The ad items are always out-of-stock when I arrive, and the management is hesitant to write me a raincheck. I asked the lead cashier if he would substitute another item, and the manager readily agreed. They have also adopted an exchange policy that bewilders me: They will acknowledge the item was purchased at Walgreens, but if it was bought from another store, they will refuse to exchange the item. The assistant manager told me to drive to Burien and exchange the item there, which I did and there, I was greeted with a smile, verbal welcome, and a hassle-free exchange experience. I like Walgreens, especially for their efforts to improve obesity and diabetes management in the communities they serve, but this store doesn't embody the same spirit and experience I have had at other stores. So, 2 stars for this location because, yes, "Meh. I've experienced better." If you need a drug store in Tukwila, then I recommend the Bartell's Drugs kitty corner to the parking lot. You'll get a warm welcome upon arrival there, and the shelves are well-stocked. read more

Absolutely deplorable customer service!! They wont fill your prescription if you get there with less then an hour before they close. So I said ok I will come back no problem. Today I have spent TWO HOURS on the phone holding I haven't talked to a SINGLE person. All I want is to confirm that I will be able to pick up my medicine when I rush there after work. I have even borrowed another phone to try to call and get a sales floor employee to go over to the pharmacy and let them know I have been waiting 2 hours to talk to someone. Guess what....I cant get anyone to answer no matter what option I select. I am BEYOND frustrated! Only use this pharmacy if you have time to go in the middle of the day and wait for your medicine to be filled. Its not like the rest of the store is that great either! There is always a huge line to check out and the store is extremely dirty. You have to deal with solicitation just to walk inside the store! It is truly disgusting!!!!!!! read more

This was a very nice and quiet Walgreens nearby while I stayed in Tukwila recently. The store is clean, well stocked, and organized. The cashiers are super friendly. I made a total of three stops while I was in town, and they all went smoothly. I did a return on the last visit, and it was the easiest return I've done in a while. Usually I wouldn't review a drug store but this by far has the best customer service I experienced. I always pick up my prescriptions here and the pharmacy is efficient and gets my medication ready in a few hours. The photo department is also very helpful if I need any extra assistance. I like Walgreens because you can make customized photo books and print out pictures from your phone and they have some good deals! The Asian girl in the photo department is the sweetest girl (I forgot her name). The store is usually organized and I can find what I need easily unlike other Walgreens. This is located in Tukwila so a lot of sketchy customers. read more

I spend a LOT in prescriptions here, on my way out I noticed that the freeze pops were a dollar so I got a few boxes with my other items, getting home I realized that I forgot the bag with the pops, it wasn't handed to me. I came back to get them & they refused to give them to me because I forgot the receipt at home. I used my rewards card & my credit card which they could've easily referenced or even looked at the camera, but they restocked them already (put them back) so for a few dollars in freeze pops I transferred my prescriptions to Wal-Mart & be done with these idiots. It wasn't even the fact that it was a couple bucks but the managers attitude was so GHETTO & rude that it made me rethink even having to ever come back. Good riddens but the best part is that now I am paying 1/3 of my usual for my prescriptions elsewhere. read more

My biggest issue is people bringing non-service dogs into the pharmacy. While waiting in line there were two people behind me with dogs. Felt more like a vet clinic rather than a pharmacy. While I was getting a flu shot the people who were sitting in the small waiting area a few feet away had their dog in their lap. It was whining and whimpering the whole time and felt very awkward. The pharmacists didn't seem phased by it at all. There should be a policy against bringing animals into the pharmacy area as people can be allergic and it is just unhygienic for dogs to be around sterile equipment. read more
