We had a prescription to pick up and a line at these places is expected.. however we waited for over an hour out in our car in line, got to the window and they told us to come inside and my girlfriend is still waiting, in line again. Like most Walgreens locations, the Verona store is either understaffed or just plain slow! My physicians office left a message for a prescription refill at 10am, and when I called 3 hours later to confirm receipt, they said they had not received anything. I called my doctor back and was told that a message was left with the Verona Walgreens, and the doctor called the prescription in AGAIN. It is now nearly 4PM, and it took 15 minutes to find out if they were filling the prescription. Finally, they are, but there is no reason why a prescription refill should be SO-O-O-O difficult! I long for the days when we got our prescriptions at Target. We never had these problems. Unfortunately, our insurance will not allow us to use Target anymore and we are stuck with Walgreens. If I could move my prescriptions somewhere else, I would jump at the opportunity! read more

I am finally going to switch over to another pharmacy. Not only are the staff so rude, you wait on hold when you call for extreme hold times and the pick up line in the drive through takes a year. My family an I have been using this Walgreens since we moved into this little town. We thought since it was a small town, the Walgreens would be more prompt and on time but boy were we wrong! This pharmacy will tell us they don't have my fiance's medication an that it'd be in the next day. Next day comes an we call to have his prescription filled only to be told they still don't have his medication an it's going to be another whole day. Despite the fact this medication is life or death for my fiance. Don't bother calling to complain because they will only hang up on you after telling you it's a 'you' problem not them. Lack compassion, lack good customer service and overall around lacks good work ethic. I do NOT recommend this company for ANYTHING. You have better luck getting your medications else where. Run away from this Walgreens and stay clear away from this 'pharmacy' it's a pathetic excuse. read more

Don't use this pharmacy! It is soooo ridiculously slow for picking up prescriptions. After waiting 20-25 minutes to get waited on at drive up, I was then told my order is not ready and to drive around the building, sit in line again and wait. Then once at the window...I am told they are out of the medication I need! I needed to start it today. After way too much conversation I was told that I could get my order in a town that is 40 miles away! After years of putting up with slow service at this pharmacy I am finally done. I just registered to get my Rx at the small local pharmacy. I will not go back. This Walgreens needs to look at their reviews. There are years of bad reviews online. I stopped in to get a passport photo and they refused to take one and I was told to come back when they aren't busy. I asked when that was and there was no definite time. they also said I could wait over an hour to get a photo taken. the staff was rude and unhelpfu. read more

I recommend the pharmacists at Hometown Pharmacy in Verona. Walgreens is great for makeup and candy.

I have given this Walgreens 16 years of our family's pharmacy biz- I generally don't complain about too much because we are all human, jobs can suck and patience & kindness matters.. With that being said, this is truly one of the worst locations to pick up a prescript. If u think u are immune to the waiting, poor service & just blatant lack of respect, certainly take your biz here otherwise unless the pharmacy management/procedures change , it's sad, frustratingly & maddeningly ways will ultimately *F* with you too....... read more

The Walgreens pharmacy in Verona WI is terrible. The employees are rude and they are the slowest around. After spending 15 minutes standing in line at the pharmacy, I was told my prescription wasn't ready. It would be ready in yet another 15-20 minutes. As my daughter was vomiting in the car, I left, took her home and came back to the pharmacy 90 minutes later. This time, I went through the drive-up. Again I was told my prescription wasn't ready. The assistant proceeded to say she could get it ready but that they were 4-5 hours behind. 4-5 hours???? When I explained that I was at the pharmacy 90 minutes ago and was told the prescription would be ready in 15-20 minutes she said, "I am sorry." When I asked why the prescription wasn't put into the system then, she rudely replied "I can't do anything about that." I can only wonder now if I will ever get my prescription. I have visited many Walgreens pharmacies and this one is by far the worst. read more

Poor service. There seems to be always a problem at their pharmacy. My husband works late so needs a pharmacy open later. He calls a ahead for his prescription and the other day it wasn't ready. They said come back in 15 minutes. So he comes home to drop off our good and goes back. Then they tell him they only have 5 pills and would take a few days to get some more. This information would've been nice to know ahead of time. Overall really poor service. read more

The location is convenient and the staff is nice.. but that's about where the positives end. I have been getting the same medication refilled for well over a year. I am allowed a certain number of refills, but the medication is pricey, so I like to just get one box at a time (a 28 day supply). When I call the prescription in each month, the recording always confirms the med and that it's a 28 day supply. But for some reason EVERY SINGLE TIME I pick up my prescription, they give me 3 boxes instead of 1. I correct them EVERY SINGLE TIME, tell them to make a note of it in my account... but they ALWAYS get it wrong. It wouldn't be a huge deal except they are always super busy.. so I have to wait my turn in line and then an additional 5+ minutes while they fix the mistake. I have also had issues with my prescription not being ready at the estimated time and have not gotten a phone call to let me know. So again, I wait in line and am then told to come back in 10 minutes. They have even run out of my medication, and not told me about it until I went to pick it up. I was able to get it at a different location, which would have been super to know in advance. I am going to be switching to a local pharmacy. I'm done. read more

I come here probably a couple times a month. I've never had a bad or superb experience. They have what most Walgreens have and their prices are as expected. The pharmacy is always very busy in the drive through and inside! No other complaints here! read more
