This pharmacy and store is an absolute dump. It's dirty, disorganized with one slow checkout line. Close this place down!

Good experience with pharmacy, and pharmacist Owume was so helpful. Hardly ever a wait time, and pleasant customer service. Woman at front counter was extremely pleasant and friendly, great attitude. I would recommend this store- the atmosphere is a little less than ideal, I think that's why the lower reviews, but the staff and overall help was very good. read more

Has bare bones materials and does come in handy in a pinch, but it certainly looks like a location that's in "closing for good" mode. The workers there are friendly, but Walgreens HQ should do more for this location. More shelves/checkouts/products would do wonders for this location. read more

Only gave one star bc I couldn't post without a star. Every time I go here I say it will be the last time. store always looks like it's on the verge of closing but that's not the biggest problem. no help! one person to ring people up, help/ring up at photo counter and customer service for returns. I only went bc I had photos developed there through Snapfish. Well, I just left without them. Not only did the one employee have a line of at least 12-15 ppl to ring up- but she couldn't because someone had a return that she was struggling with. she called for backup but nobody came. You can probably guess by now that the same one employee was not available to go to the photo counter and grab my order. For my order of 3 4X6 prints- I'll forgo the money and order again elsewhere. This is the worst pharmacy in the whole world. I went there to look at the cosmetics, and I was met with a woman who accused me and my friends of doing things we did not do. She yelled at us for finding one of her products on another shelf. The woman went up to us and told us we would have to leave the store right away, but we could not decide what we wanted. She also turned around and watched me and my friends leave with a smile on her face like she had won a game. I would definitely not recommend this pharmacy to anyone. read more

This is the worst Walgreens around. Its filthy, they have very little in-stock items, the staff is always slow, I am always waiting in a very very long, non moving line with almost no employees working. Most importantly, the Pharmacy had stolen medication from me in the past. I had to pickup a Rx for a controlled substance and I when I get home I had 10/30 pills in my Rx. I called them immediately. The lab/behind the scenes pharmacy worker said he had them in stock, no problem, come back, and when I did they said I was wrong and I had all 30 pills. I did NOT. I drive back & They turned it in to a huge ordeal when It was all on them. It got ugly. And really it just effected my med situation. I had to go through an entire process w/ my doctor, and I will never go back there again. Disgusted! read more

I went into manhattan on a bus departing from Verona with my girlfriend for my 24th birthday. It was a cold winters day filled with the exploration of the Bronx Botanical Gardens, the Museum of Modern Art and the Museum of Natural History. Culturally enriching and informative, just what you want out of a birthday. With worn out feet and cold noses from an exhilarating day, the bus dropped us off safely back in Verona. As we waited for my girlfriend's father to pick us up in his car, we warmed ourselves up in this Walgreens. If I didn't know I had left Manhattan, I would have assumed this Walgreens was actually a fourth museum I was visiting in the heart of the big apple. The aisles were filled to the brim with fascinating exhibits and displays that left me awe inspired. 5/5 this is a museum quality Walgreens on par with the great museums of New York. read more

Is this location on the "permanently closing" list? If not, it definitely should be. I placed an on-line order which was cancelled within 20 minutes for "lack of inventory". The items were basic hygiene products like toothpaste and deodorant. Okayyy.....There is barely any inventory on the shelves, the staff is few and far between and not very helpful, they have one check-out lane and the on-store experience is extremely poor. After my couple of experiences I was fine never going there again, but I had a friend visiting me from out of town and she had to pick up a prescription at Walgreens. This is the closest location to me and I figured that despite all the other mishaps that the pharmacy should be fine. Boy, was I wrong. When we arrived the pharmacy was supposed to be open, however, the pharmacist (we didn't know it at the time) arrived in the parking lot with us and strolled in like she was a shopper. When she opened the pharmacy late (imagine our surprise to learn that she was the same woman that had just casually walked in with us) that should have been our first red flag. She could not fulfill the prescription for reasons unknown. My friend asked for an over the counter substitute and we were met with blank stares. I have learned my lesson. Never again. read more

Beware! This is the worst pharmacy you'll ever visit. Karen, the pharmacy technician is so disrespectful and has so much attitude and zero compassion or consideration that she's dealing with likely really sick people. I waited over 30 minutes for my medication without any complaints and when it was ready, Karen looked at the prescription paper bag and said, "You, whatever your name is, I can't pronounce this" with a look of disgust in her face. I cannot believe that this pharmacy is allowed to be operated like this. I will be reaching out to Walgreens corporate. This is unacceptable. read more

Probably one of the worst pharmacies I have ever stepped foot into. Shelves are barely stocked. There's always only one register open and no self check out either. Some of the items on the shelf look old as well (i.e. melted, distorted candy bars) We came here with an appointment to get our flu shots (first mistake- I didn't look up reviews and thought since it's a Walgreens it should be fine). The pharmacy was very busy so we waited our turn. When it came time to check in neither the pharmacy or pharmacy technician could process my insurance properly. They told us we each had a co-pay, which incorrect since my insurance 100% covers vaccines (got the flu shot last year with the same exact insurance). The pharmacist told me he ran it through my pharmacy insurance and I asked him to run it through my medical because that's who covered the vaccine. He tried something and then told me that that "my medical incidence, CVS, is giving me the same co-pay" I didn't bother correcting him since he was being nice. I thanked him and drove over to the CVS in Cedar Grove and got my vaccine there. read more

Of all the pharmacies Ive used for prescriptions, I have never had as much trouble at any of them like I have with this Walgreens location. Both times trying to get my prescription involved multiple phone calls and long times on hold after weeks of waiting for my prescription that they never filled and forgot about. read more

I wouldn't call this the worst Walgreens ever because that would be like calling a rest stop McDonald's off I-95 the worst McDonald's ever - they all suck in their own ways, they rarely have even average service and they are a gigantic chain, deal with it. With that said, this Walgreens is not a pleasure in any way, at any time, in any context. Start with the fact that there are three checkout lanes, but the only person ringing up at a register is almost always at the side register. A line of two can cause a back-up in this place. They usually have what you are looking for, but if they don't I wouldn't expect too much help in finding it. However, the pharmacy personnel are very friendly and helpful. End with the fact that the organization in this particular Walgreens is just off. The only explanation is that they pay no attention at all to placing the more popular items in better view and instead jam the Walgreens brand of everything under the sun, front and center so I can't find the Crest on the bottom shelf. read more

Walked into the store and couldnt find an associate to help me. Once I did I was given the wrong information and waited in a long line for no reason. Then while an associate was trying to help me the MANAGER on duty asked him what he was doing and the associate said helping me and the manager told him he didnt care it WASN'T IMPORTANT and for him to get back to work. I had a negative experience today with an ignorant, lazy and rude cashier (Adrien H.). I had a coupon for buy 4 get 2 free Renuzit adjustable airfresheners. When I gave him the coupon it would not accept. The message was that the item didnt match the coupon. He read the coupon carefully and tried again. Still would not take. He proceeded to give me about 3 different reasons why it "probably" isnt being accepted. None made sense. So I asked him to call for the manager. Two male managers came. They told him that it had been happening all day, and to do it manually. He didnt know how. They showed him and he finished up the transaction. I commented, "Good thing that I asked for the manager" He had the nerve to shrug his shoulders as if to say "So" or "I dont care" I told him that it may be *shrugs shoulders* to him but not me. So I am offended at his dismissive attitude. I could have accepted everything else up to that point. But to shrug his shoulders? I saved money that he was trying to deny me. How disgusting of him. Otherwise the store is ok. Though i saw items that had a sales price in the flyer with a different price on the shelf, several times. I will return, but not to his register. read more
