When I called back, the CVS told me there was nothing that I could do, but I could try a three-way call with my insurance company and them. Why they can't just call my insurance company to figure it out between themselves, they wouldn't say. Instead they just told me they'd release the prescription so that I could have my doctor send it to Walgreens and fill it there, as if there isn't a shortage of this prescription and as if that would happen quickly.
