The cashiers can see if you are Rouge, Sephora's highest loyalty level, and if you're a Sephora credit card holder and they have not been trained to value any of that. It's time to stop giving Sephora money since none of it is going back into training or service.

I can spritz myself crazy with every new perfume on the shelf and these people understand. There's a wild energy here, as this location is always packed, and buzzing. There were helpful sales staff on the floor, offering suggestions, making recommendations. I do think the person at the register could be a little nicer.

I noticed that this is the only Walgreens that has the Photo department (where you do pickups) connecting right to the general checkout counter. The woman at Photo was not particularly welcoming, she kind of complained that I clicked "I am here" on the app that instructed me to do so. She said once I clicked that, the clock would start timing her, she said I only needed to click that if I waited in my car by the sidewalk. I didn't see why it's a problem that I was already inside the store, and she didn't need to go outside. The chocolate was pre-bagged, she gave that to the cashier who scanned it. As I had already paid online, it was quick. I didn't spend too much time inside this store, but it looked smaller than the other Walgreens stores that I had been to. It's not as bright and looked quite dated. However, I was happy that they had this chocolate that's my sister's favorite at a discounted price, and the pickup was quick and smooth.

I've had some issues with previous massage therapists not really wanting to touch me after discussing some of my body issues (srsly, if scoliosis freaks you out, maybe go back to school for a bit?), so I called Olga and we spent a ton of time on the phone discussing a number of issues I wanted worked on, how to approach them, and what I could expect. I knew after that phone call I found my happy massage place :) Olga's studio is on the second floor of a building in the heart of downtown Wilmette. It's bright, open, airy, and super welcoming. Also, since Olga offers facials, I saw a ton of awesome looking skincare that I can't wait to dig into on my next visit. I got a 60 minute therapeutic massage (which was truly 60 minutes), which can include anything from cupping, to deep tissue, to swedish massage, and man, did I get my butt kicked. I had no idea how ridiculously tight I had gotten, and how difficult it was for me to just relax. Olga worked on everything we had discussed, and at the end I was so impressed I bought a 5 pack (for only $475!), and am getting my husband in to see her asap. Yup, from now on Olga's massages are gonna be #1 when it comes to making sure my old butt gets the maintenance it needs.

Many times I've gotten things that I never really needed or worst product that wasn't good for me at all and I ended having to throw away everything. This time I came in the store after having done some research of my own and when Ashanti approached me to find out my needs, she heard me first and addressed my caress and concerns while educating me at the same time & it was only because I had an appointment with a dermatologist that I didn't purchase anything yet however, after I speak to my medical professional I will be back to shopping with Ashanti‼ Finally, an associate that really listens, hears, understands and cares about the clients needs over their own desires to make a sales quota or the like‼ I'm excited to shop with Ashanti in the future because of her wealth of knowledge, and ability to go above and beyond the call of duty! As i walked down the store Yazmin asked if there was anything i was looking for and she suggested a great product from Clinique. I'm very glad i visited this location. I like the products here but some of the staff members are a bit rude. I got a haircut once and the person cutting my hair was very nice but the cashier was very judgmental/rude for some reason. I don't know if this was just for me or if it was just the way I comprehended our conversation but it was just something I noticed. They are also very short-tempered when you ask them anything about their salon pricing. Customer service is incredible. Walked in just before close, and the staff were still the most friendly, helpful and enthusiastic people I have ever encountered at a beauty store. The manager took the time to check that I was doing ok even though she was trying to complete another task, and even gave me a kind of inside tip that the products I was looking at would go on sale soon.

I hadn't been to this location before, but it was near where I work. I always ask for the same thing - cut an inch or two to take off the dead ends and trim up long layers that are already there. Instead. the stylist snipped maybe a quarter of an inch off the ends, so my hair still has that damaged, frizzy look at the end that asked to be cut. She also decided to cut the existing, minimal layering that I asked to be trimmed into one, very short layer for "volume". She cut a layer from the top of my head that hits my ears. The rest is mid-back. It will take months to grow out. I told her at the time that it was too short, but she insisted that it wasn't a cut, "only texture!" She was very nice, but seemed focused on keeping as much length at the end as possible, which was not a concern I had. I WAS concerned about too-short layers and explicitly stated that I did not want them because they thin out my already-thin, fine hair. I talked to customer service and they punted me back to the store manager. When I arrived, my appointment was delayed because one of the management team was holding an interview in front of the shampoo bowls. My stylist was the only one scheduled on her shift and was a transplant from another store. I don't know why they can't keep stylists here, but the general disorganization could be a factor. I don't trust this location to fix what should have been a very basic haircut.

The staff were very helpful on the phone so I drove over to check it out. We're heading to Walt Disney World so I wanted to have some great quality shoes to get me through long days. Nancy was really helpful on the phone and so was the guy who originally picked up the phone, and I know Nordstrom usually carries my size even in sneakers so it was worth stopping in. We were off to a bit of a rocky start when I got in. There were a lot of customers and several staff, but nobody said hello or please go here for help or anything. I was annoyed when I noticed a couple staff standing around at the register not doing anything even though they were literally more than a dozen customers in the shoe department, and as I was considering whether to leave or go ask for help an employee asked if I was being helped and said she'd get someone for me. Elise (perhaps Alise?) was incredibly helpful. She picked out a bunch of shoes to try on; I think she brought me about 10 different pair. I'd never tried Hoka before (I've especially been a fan of New Balance and Asics) but these were amazing shoes. They were so cushioned, it felt like I was bouncing on a cloud and could barely feel the steps I was taking. Sold! I really appreciated the help provided and that Elise suggested a couple other options when I mentioned I liked a pair of the Hokas but they felt just a bit snug, and then we found the right pair. I didn't realize they had a cafe here, but there's one just as you enter the doors from the east side of the building. They have a good selection of baby stuff as well, including strollers, which are harder to see in person now that so many people shop online. Nordstrom is my favorite higher end (to me, at least) store and I was glad to have stopped here for my most recent purchase.

All "kidding" aside, stop in and you'll want absolutely everything in the shop. I mean all of it...even sweet Megi--the queen bee who taught me a thing or two about beeswax candles. Did you know that burning 100% pure beeswax candles can purify the air quality and allergens in your house? Though I was in the store yesterday, I couldn't get myself to write a review until I had the chance to try some of the beyond amazing soap samples I received from Megi. I smell so good, and my skin feels pure and soft. I now understand the value of using quality products. Their specialty handmade soap is a goat milk and honey soap. Not only is the bar they make so pretty and artistic to look at, it smells so good you'll want to eat it. Their products are small batch, and I think Megi told me some of the soaps take six weeks to cure, but don't quote me on that. They also carry Savon De Marseille soap from France. Apparently you won't find this soap anywhere in the area. If you've passed by this shop a million times and always wanted to stop in, just do it. There is parking out front or across the street, and after you pick up some soap you can head up the street for a cup of coffee at Arriva Dolce. It's totally worth it. Whether you need a gift or want a personal scrub soap for yourself, you can find it here. Dr. Warner is a Fraud - Stay Away!…read more I want to warn everyone about my horrible experience with Dr. Warner. I have had three failed nose surgeries under his care. My nose is still crooked, I am still bleeding, and despite all his promises, there has been zero improvement. During the third surgery, he took cartilage from my rib, which resulted in a painful infection under my breast. Each time I saw him, he assured me things would get better, but instead, he kept injecting sterilizing injections into my nose--without any real solution. I finally told him that I would be suing him for his incompetence. Now, just because I spoke the truth, he suddenly refuses to see me. He feels threatened because he knows he has done wrong. That's fine--I'll see him in court. If you look at other reviews, you will see a pattern: botched surgeries, infections, and serious complications. He doesn't even wash his hands properly, which is why so many patients suffer from infections. His entire practice is a fraud, and he should not be allowed to operate on anyone. I strongly urge everyone to research his educational background before trusting him. If anyone wants to see proof of what he has done to my nose, feel free to reach out. Stay far away from Dr. Warner. He is a pure fraud.
