This review is for the Delaware Oh office of Walk in Urgent Care... Walked in for a high fever and cough. They tested for flu and covid, both negative, said the lungs sounded "good". "Go home and take dayquil." Even after explaining the recent history of health. They were just completely wrong... just spent 4 days in the ER and hospital for severe pneumonia. If you have something simple that's wrong with you then this is the place. If it is at all complicated you should go to a care center with better diagnostic testing. They are not on any system where they can see your history. If you need a couple stitches they might be able to do that. If you need someone to listen and pay attention to your health and concerns you need to go elsewhere. p.s. Recap: Walk in urgent care on Polaris parkway. 11:00am I walk into the office, there is one man in front of me and a person sitting down who I believe was with the man in line. The man in front leaves and I walk up, there are two employees working. I give them my name and they hand me the paperwork to fill out. While filling out the paperwork they start discussing other patients by name, the tech who later identified herself as "Kristen" says that another patient is almost 30 mins late so she was canceling his appointment. Again using patient names in front of me. My partner also made an appointment for 11:30am today but was on a work call from 11-11:30 so I decided to be safe and let them know that she may be 5-10mins after that. "Kristen" tells me that my partners appointment is at 11am and she would need to reschedule in a very rude way. She tells me this while leading me to the exam room, I text my partner asking if she made it for 11 or 11:30. My partner sends me a screen shot of her appointment which we confirmed was scheduled on the app for 11:30am. I get this text mid nose swab, I exit the exam room and go back ti the empty waiting room and approach the window to show them the text and ask if there was a app error. "Kristen" rudely tells me that she does not care what I have, my partners appointment is at 11 and that I was done there and need to leave or would she have to call the police to have me removed. I stood there is shock. In my 38 years I have never been spoken to like that by any medical professional. Ever. I asked for the techs name which she only told me "Kristen" and she didn't have to give me any of her other personal and to leave. I asked why she was speaking to me like that and who her manager was. She pointed to the up until now silent second person who later would only identify herself as "the nurse practitioner". The "the nurse practitioner" turned her chair around and looks at my phone and sees the listed appointment for 11:30am and sighs and tells me that it is fine and to have her come in then and she will get taken care of. I ask why have been treated this way and spoken to like this. She did not answer. I left and came back with my partner. We arrived at 11:26am. I walk in with her and "the nurse practitioner" tells me that I already had my appointment and I needed to leave. I tell her that I am here to ensure that my partner receives proper medical care. I asked for more details other than a first name of the tech. "The nurse practitioner" would not tell me anything. I asked if she thought it was okay for the tech to speak to me like that. She did not reply. I was not told any names or shown any identification that these two people are really licensed medical professionals. I was forced to stand outside the building while my partner had her Covid test done. There are clear HIPAA violations. I want to know who these two were so that I can file a complaint with the Ohio Board of Medicine. read more

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean, and we were in and out, quickly.

Went to the Polaris location for a rapid covid test and never received results (not to the app, no phone call). I have called Support many times over three days and each time they say the results will post "in two hours, in an hour, in 15 minutes". I've given up assuming I will see these results. Additionally the facility is unclean and the test was poorly administered to begin with (the tech barely swabbed my nose and had no manners). read more

I needed to go in and get a rapid COVID test and this office made me feel so comfortable. To begin, the office is extremely clean and efficient. The process of getting the test was even better. The Doctor explained everything so well and calmed my nerves before the test. It was quick and I got my results 30 minutes later. I am so satisfied with this office! I would definitely recommend this office to anyone and will be back when I need to get another test. Thank you Polaris! read more
