Horrible! The barber Tom was a horrible. When we arrived he was working on some issue with his chair with glue. He didn't even wash his hands to cut my sons hair. My son said he smelled like alcohol (perhaps the glue) but still he cut his hair like he was drunk. Do not go to this barbershop! My sons hair came out all and even and jacked up!!! I never yelp, but people need to be aware about the crap work they do. read more

Don't go to this place. The guy who cut my son's hair was incredibly rude. He was intolerant to my son's special needs and did not accommodate him. He was incredibly rude and impatient. We left after he used the buzzer on only half his hair because it was that bad. Avoid this place at all costs. The guy was screaming at me and pointing his finger in my face and followed me out of the shop screaming at me. So unprofessional. So aggressive. I wouldn't send my enemy to this place. read more

This place is the best. Best prices. Best staff. Best hours. Friendly. Fast. Good location. Good parking. $9 and they do my hair, eyebrows, and clean up my beard. Go in and try. Tip big. Some times they are in early cleaning up and they will let you in early for a cut. I go no where else since I found them. Needed a cut on a holiday and they were in cleaning, they opened for me. Took my son to get his haircut by Tom today. Told him that my son wanted a fohawk fade with a line down the side to comb it over. He gave him a fohawk and when I asked him about putting the line in the side he told me no and that it wouldn't look good. I thought that the customer is always right?He did a half way decent job but left hair longer than other on top. Love this place! Was looking for a new barber after having the same one for ten years. Now I have to say that I am very picky, and very impatient. I was just driving up walker street going to the store when I saw the walker barber sign flashing. I told myself, in going to drive thru the parking lot and if there is too many people, I will leave. Not only was it slow, there was a parking spot right in front. My lucky day! Still a little skeptical, I went inside. I met Tom, and Amy and was already impressed. Clean shop, a big color TV with basketball on, big plus for me. I sat down right away and told Amy how I wanted my hair. I warned her that I was picky. She accepted the challenge, and I must say..Amy got down. She rocked my haircut, and knew what she was doing! Kudos to you Amy. I'm still smiling. :) I have certainly find my new barber shop. My girlfriend was so happy that I was so happy after a haircut. Usually I go home and knit pick my haircut while I look in the mirror. Not this time!!! Used to go to Goodfellas Barber on Katella and was paying like 20-25 for a 3 on top with a mid fade. Found Walker barber and now I come here every week instead. I've had my haircut done by Tom and the female and they both do a crazy good job on my fade. I recommend this barber especially cause its only 8 bucks. Can't beat it. read more

This Barber shop was awful before u go read all the comments and most of them are negative and now I know why. And I wish I would've read the reviews first. The barber we got was very rude and aggressive just like the other people reviewed. I brought my son to get a haircut thinking I would save money and it was nice and close to my house. I witnessed the barber aggressively shouting and pointing his finger in another customers face. He was aggressively kicking out this customer because her son refused to takeoff his mask during the haircut. I saw that customers child running out of the store because he was afraid of the barber screaming at his parent. I will never return to this place and I will make sure I tell all my friends. While I was outside waiting I saw the barber cutting other peoples hair and he was spending about 10 minutes per haircut. The haircut looks like a 10 minute haircut as well. I was having second thoughts and then when I saw how aggressive and rude this man was I left right away. If you're into a bad haircut while getting verbally assaulted then I guess this place is for you. I would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

My boyfriend has been coming here for a little while now. He only gets a hair cut about every two months though. He's very low maintenance. He used to go somewhere near Aliso Viejo and would pay around $25 for a subpar haircut. After finding this barber near my home, it's been his go to place. It's $9 plus tip. A great deal compared to his previous place. He really likes the way the lady cuts his hair and will wait for her even if the gentleman is available. read more

Been here before and was always satisfied with my haircuts, today i went in for my usual haircut and walked out with the worst haircut ive gotten in my life, cut the top way to short and worst taper i got in my life. The dude spend like 15 min on a haircut and u can definitely tell he did. This review is based on the 1 guy who usually cuts in the middle, the guy who cuts to the far left and the lady who cuts to the far right actually take there time to do a good job. So first the good. Staff is really nice. The place is really clean. It only took the guy 5 minutes to cut my hair. The bad. First thing I noticed is there are no barber license displayed. Been here three times, and the service is friendly and speedy. The first two times I was cut by two women and the third by the man; both women did a fantastic job and took their time to get it right...however, the man was nothing but trouble. I told him that I wanted a textured, messy, spiky style on top with a zero taper. I was very specific when I described how I wanted my haircut, and he went on cutting as if it was no problem. He rushed thru it and began styling my hair completely differently than what I described--heavily jelled into a unicorn type of thing. I said that it wasn't what I wanted, and he claimed that my hair couldn't do that and that only "white people" can achieve that hairstyle. Very positive experience here, first time. Walk in appointment to get my 2 year old a hair cut. Normally he cries and fusses, but the hair stylist who was working on him was very patient and great with him. The other hair stylists also helped in making my son feel comfortable by putting on cartoons and giving him candy! The haircut came out very clean and professional. Salon is clean and good sized. This was the worst experience to try to get a haircut. I took my 2 son's and myself mind you first time here and just moved to this area. They ask how I would like my son's haircut so I explained but they decided to argue on how they wanted. I was not happy at all so decided not to get my haircut, I'll wait. Was trying to resist writing this negative review for them because they were extremely friendly in their service, but ultimately decided I could not because of how badly the haircut turned out. Went to another barber shop before this for a low fade and faux-hawk. The other shop did a fine job with the fade, but gave me a mohawk instead of the faux-hawk. Absent-minded me didn't notice until I had already gotten close to home. So I stopped by here to just have them low fade the back-side and blend it in with the rest of the fade I already had on the sides to get the faux-hawk. The male cutter kept insisting that he cut a higher fade because he claimed it was necessary for a faux-hawk. I hadn't gotten a fade before this, but I was pretty sure he was wrong, so I asked him to just blend it in with the low-fade I already had. The barber was still insistent so I just gave in, assuming he probably knows what he's doing. A few minutes later, and my hair is completely messed up with this hanging bowl-cut type thing on the top off a fade that's gone too high on the sides of my head. Had to get it reworked at a family friend's place instead, and now I have to sport a buzzcut until my hair regrows out of this mess. Safe to say, I am never coming here again. It might've been my inexperience with haircutting terms or me not being firm enough with my instincts though, so I'd hesitate to immediately tell people to avoid this place. Their service is extremely friendly and they seem like good people, which made me hesitate to write this, but ultimately, this is more of a PSA for what could happen here. read more

Just had my first visit. Amy was professional, yet quite friendly. She was very skilled and thorough. She gave me a perfect cut. I am 62 years old, and I think this was the best haircut I ever had! She even trimmed my mustache for free. Tom welcomed me, introduced himself, and told me where the best parking is when it's very busy in the parking lot. for someone who doesnt have much hair, getting a haircut could seem pointless, and is apparent when barbers rush. not Tom though, he is quick but takes his art seriously and does a fantastic job.
