I never thought that a haircut experience could be worse than the haircut itself. First of all, the haircut wasn't awful but it still sucked and wasn't what I asked for. Secondly, it's the experience that made it even worse. Willie has an obsession of spinning you around on the chair and stopping you by hitting the brakes on your head. My head is not a damn brake pedal Willie. His equipment constantly tugged on my hair and his aggressive brushing was scraping the sides of my face. And he also uses a damn air compressor to blow the hair follicles off your face. You do Not use strong concentrated air like that on people's faces, especially to blow off tiny pieces of hair! The strong air was extremely uncomfortable to bare and pieces of hair were blowing into my eyes! I couldn't wait for him to finish so I can get up and out of that hell hole. He also manipulates his online presence with the reviews to keep his ratings high. This man has no skills in cutting hair and is a fraud. Stay away from him and this establishment! Edit (12/24/22): The owner got upset at my review and messaged me privately just now. Instead of taking accountability and correcting a wrong, he decided to put his energy towards being condescending and calling me a hater. Willie was our barber today. I took my boyfriend in because he was long over due for a haircut after trying to grow out a mullet lol I have to say I've never seen someone take such great care of someone and how detail oriented he was to every part of the cut. Even as he was finishing and going to remove the cover from his neck he kept seeing pieces he could fix and would. Terrible. I went in out of convenience because it was down the street for me, but will never return. The barber (later identified as the owner) greeted me with a frown as I came in an hour before closing time. An hour...really? He completely rushed through the haircut and jabbed my head with his comb, poked it with the clippers, scissors, and shot the intense blow gun directly in my face and ears. I was waiting for him to cut me at that point. He was so rough and kept pushing my head around. I was this close to walking out up and leaving in the middle of my haircut or telling him off, but my kids were watching. I also waisted $28 for a "skin fade" to which the owner simply shaved the back of my neck line and left everything else a zero. I can confirm with the other negative reviews who the owner marked as "fake" are real because I just experience them. He has a cigarette stench, the shop is dirty, and he had the worst attitude I'd ever seen. STAY AWAY! P.S. My review is very real. I searched Yelp and saw great reviews so tried them out. The inside is sort of industrial...almost looks like an auto repair shop. Very cool guys running things and my stylist made sure to keep me entertained while he did his thing. Haircut was one of the best I've had! I've been to some high end salons paying triple what they charge and I was very happy. I'll be back with my son and as many of you as I can convince to give these guys a shot. Cash only so make sure you are prepared...I had to take a walk to the Chinese food place and use their ATM. The barbershop has to be one of the worst run barbershops I've been to. The first visit was at 10AM in a weekday so I expected little traffic going thru the shop. Three barbers were there at the time of arrival with one person ahead of me. After thirty minutes two barbers had finished their haircuts and decided to go on break even though 4 more people had come thru the door. When asked, one barber responded that he had an appointment in 20 minutes so he was waiting for them. Fast forward 20 minutes and both appointments come in and it take another 45 minutes for them to complete the haircuts because one of the barbers tends to browse their phone while countless people wait for their haircut. The second incident came when I brought my son in for a haircut. There wasn't a long wait (one person ahead of me) when I arrived. A father and his two kids walked in and the lady barber instantly brings one of the kids to get their haircut and explains how much she missed them. When it was time for my sons haircut one of the barbers completely butchered his haircut by cutting too much off the top to even comb it over even though I had explicitly explained LEAVE ENOUGH FOR A COMBOVER. And the barber also decided to give him a little patch in the back of his head. Long story short this shop does not understand the importance of customer service and tends to loiter in between haircuts. Definitely do not recommend. read more

The shop is shared with a lot of restaurants and shopping stores but ultimately I didn't have any problems finding parking. SEATING | Standby seating are all inside, for about 10 people. On a good busy day, there are about 6 barbers cutting. FEELS | The surroundings isn't exactly too special but there are things to do. If you're on the waitlist there are restaurants or a shoe store if you want to look around and kill time. The inside is pretty neat. It's like the shops in those movies with memorabilia of stickers and a Godfather-esque like portrait. Top 40 music playing in the background and tvs are on the sports channels. SERVICE | About 6 people ahead of me and had about a 20-25 minute wait. Teresa was pretty friendly. Short conversation but great delivery. TL;DR OVERALL | If you're looking for a modern cut with some good vibes then this is the place to go. Price was reasonable and the ambiance was comfortable. Really great son and pop barber. I called 30 minutes before they closed and they happily accommodated me. I had an event the next day so I was really pushed for time. I didn't give them much to work with - I didn't quite know if I wanted to keep my mustache long or not (spoiler: I did not, and shaved it the next day). They did a good job in tidying my hair nonetheless and I'm really appreciative of it. I will say, it seemed like they weren't the most learned about mustache / beard styling. They didn't use a razor to clean it up - just a close electronic shaver- and didn't really understand how to shape the beard beneath the lower lip. He's been coming here ever since! Never had a complaint about it! Usually sees John/Tony or someone. One day none of the guys were in and a lady named Amelia (? Or something) helped him. Told her what he wanted AND showed a pic. -Specifically said he wanted a 1.5 and she gave him .5! -specifically said he wanted a medium fade and she shaved it to THE TOP OF THE HEAD. -she was constantly going back and forth to his haircut and her phone-- I get that it's business but that may have contributed to the shitty haircut. Anywho when my boyfriend got a glimpse of his haircut he was PISSED PISSED PISSED PISSED. He stormed out without paying! Why should he?? He went straight to another barber to "fix" it aka shaving it off. He skyped me before getting it fixed and I couldnt help but laugh! After two visits, this place is becoming my go-to barbershop! All the guys here are really friendly and the music is really chill. They look like they were plucked right out of the Anaheim Packing House: a bunch of tatted up dudes with their handlebar moustaches, beards, fancy combovers, thick framed glasses, skinny vegetarians, and trendy clothing. Kidding aside, these guys are very friendly and welcoming with their service. The barbers take pride in their work and I can definitely see why with the results they've been cranking out with each customer. Obviously this place must be good if there's always a wait whenever I go there. Don is my main barber there, and I love that guy! He's really funny and friendly, which gives you an enjoyable experience. More importantly, he takes direction very well and offers knowledgeable suggestions. I think the case of haircuts, the customer may not always be right. Don knows how hair behaves with different head shapes, and he would recommend small changes to what I asked for to make my cut look even more flattering. What I love about Don is that he was able to understand and picture the kind of haircut I wanted, even though I did not know all the technical terms. When I told Don that I could never style my hair the way he does it for me whenever I get home, he offered to take pictures of my hair from different angles and took his time to teach me how to style my hair.
