I just shockingly received a phone message from, I think, one of Mr. Walker's sons, berating me, telling me I am lying about the money Mr. Walker kept telling me I owed, in addition, for my deceased Mom's pre-paid funeral. He said he never met me. Does that mean I never existed? Or there was no funeral for my Mother? He then threatened to sue me for slander!! I found Mr Walker insensitive and unprofessional. When we lost our loved one, we chose Walker Family Funeral Services because they are across the street from the hospital. When we discussed options for funeral arrangements, we were told the cremation would take 5 days. Then when we chose a different cemetary, the owner admitted not liking the prior cemetary and its owner and the creamtion was miraculously done in 1 day. My parent was held longer than he should have been due to thier personal busienss gripes. Unbelievable! Its a dissgrace. When we first met him he kept asking us to put positive reveiws on yelp. Good reviews come from good service not pushing people into it like a bully and a cheap salesman. Losing someone you love should take first priority over the funeral parlor's personal conflicts and relationships. I don't recommend this establishment. read more

Called to get information on cremating my baby (14 weeks gestation). The lady that answered said it wouldn't be a worth it. A little insensitive I would say, I just lost my baby, and even though I was only 14 weeks pregnant, she was still my baby and she's worth more than a few hundreds dollars.
