Called this company because of rave reviews from neighbors for garbage disposal replacement. Builder grade disposal experienced some kind of issue at least every year that required a servicing beyond a reset button. We don't stress the disposal with bones or other hard objects so no reason for it to have chronic issues. This company provided excellent service from the friendly and efficient person who answered the phone up to the service technician. Got an appointment at a convenient time that worked for our schedule. Prices quoted were what we were charged. Prices were reasonable based on other local businesses for the same service call and equipment. Tech quickly assessed the issue and as we expected a new disposal was needed. Our hot water heater went out yesterday morning, I called Walker and Francine told me they had a full roster and didn't think they could do it the same day but they would certainly get by on Saturday to do the job. Let me start by saying this is my first yelp review for anything, Let me also say in the past Walker Plumbing has never done me wrong. But this is highway robbery. See attached bill. This should have never taken this long. The city of Georgetown people told me this was a easy fix. Also I work really close to my house so basically I can check on them regularly without them knowing. I saw a guy without uniform standing around doing nothing, but slowing Peyton down. The Walker Plumbing team is awesome. We had several things in the house that needed attention (low water pressure, change our faucets, etc) but we also had a pressing issue. Our guest bath toilet stopped filling with water and we had a family member coming to our house the following day as they recovered from surgery. We scheduled the non pressing items to a future week but they showed up later the same afternoon to check on the toilet to make sure it would be ready for our family member. It was a super quick fix and they didn't even charge us for that first visit because it was literally changing a switch out.
