It's a shame to see how they act on social media - and the responses are very unpleasant. It seems the company culture has changed from what it used to be, so please do your research on the store policies they have, and do yourself a big favor and don't purchase gifts for someone if they aren't there to try it on and be sure it fits. Maybe the prices are cheap because it's basically a final sale, just wish they'd make it known and clear. Maybe the owner could step away from being a keyboard warrior and spend some time learning customer service, training his staff, and developing a good team! The shoes & apparel is way over priced compared to what you can get elsewhere. Management is the absolute worst & so rude, will sit & belittle the blue collar workers for needing to exchange boots that wore out to quickly with just everyday walking in less than a month. Called before going & was told they could be exchanged but once arriving management quickly change tone & rude. This is not the first time I've had terrible experience here. I will gladly drive further out of my way than to ever give them my business again. Go to another town to buy shoes. Do not buy here. read more

On November 29,2022 I went to the store in search of a particular shoe. Although, I am not a native of Asheboro, I have lived here for over 6 years. I have purchased probably a dozen pairs of shoes over those few years. All of which , were at the previous location. On two different occasions over the past couple weeks I have gone to look for a new pair of Sperry Gold Cup Topsiders. I require a Wide width. On each occasion I have asked when they might get more in. I was told that shipments come in often. Today, I asked if they could special order my size in the wide. I was told that they did not do the ordering , the owner did. At this point, I suppose my expectations were such that I thought the employees present would say possibly they would be happy to take my name and contact information and the information on the 180 dollar shoe. But no, not even the slightest inclination to assist a customer who has spent money in the past. Therefore, I left disappointed and will probably never return. Happy Shopping Folks! , read more

I have been to this store for several years. Today I went in and found a pair of boots that I liked, and looked forward to making another satisfied purchase. When I got to the cash register the boots rang up 25$s more than the sticker on the box. I explained that the boots were listed for the different price, and the clerk acknowledged this was the case and then told me that the price on the register was the price the boots were. I explained that this didn't feel great as a customer, and then the other clerk said that they went by the price because I could have changed the sticker on the box. I told her that all the boxes were labeled that way and she could go check. I have never been accused of commiting a crime at the same time a store did nothing to fix the error they made at the same time.
