This was the first time my boyfriend and I had gotten professional photos done so I was a little nervous and worried about if we were gonna like the whole experience.. LET ME TELL YOU Sophie is AMAZING!!! She is such a warm and friendly presence to have behind the camera, especially for people who tend to get nervous. She was helping direct us when we didn't know what to do and she always had such beautiful ideas off the top of her head! Sophie is EXCELLENT!! Originally I had a high energy fast paced male photographer planned who BAILED on me four days before my wedding and I found Sophie last minute. She literally SAVED THE DAY. Not only did she show up and do my "getting ready" photos but she was the sweetest, most relaxed photographer. On top of that her shots turned out AMAZING. I hired a different photographer to do the actual wedding but actual wish I had just stuck with Sophie for the entire thing because her photos were my favorite. Sophie did a wonderful job with our mini family/maternity shoot. I looked at a lot of other photographers online but Sophie was the only one who was able to provide us a mini session at a reasonable price. I was not looking for hundreds of pictures in hours long session or cliche shots. She was able to capture our natural selves and the energy of the moment. This is the first time I have submitted a Yelp review, but I wanted to share my praise for Sophie Wall. We had a photo shoot in Wailea with Sophie, and we were impressed with how responsive, kind and patient she was with our 5 year old and 17 month old daughters. They can be a handful, but she was great with all of us and got many different shots of our family. Sophie went out of her way to meet us and to make the experience as seamless as possible. My husband and I found Sophie through Yelp. We were planning our honeymoon/babymoon photos in Maui and we're so happy we found Sophie! Since we were out of towners, we had no idea where to even begin. She helped us pick the perfect location. She is punctual and so professional. Sophie is amazing all around! I did quite a few photo shoots with her. Maternity, family photos, & even some bikini ones.
