On installation day, Donnie and his crew arrived on time and worked effortlessly to ensure all of the panes were installed correctly. When we picked it up and were driving it home to Orlando we noticed it was misfiring the whole way home. We brought it to the local gerber and they couldn't figure out the problem so they towed it to Cadillac and the dealership said the damage wasn't caused by the accident but the wire had been ripped out by someone working under the hood. The only people working under the hood was gerber while they were fixing the front end damage. I reached out to gerber and they claimed to have been working nowhere near the wiring on the vehicle. They were working about 2 feet away from the area. I understand they don't want to fix things that the insurance isn't paying for but when they create damage and don't fix it, that's messed up. There was no misfire under the hood before the accident, Cadillac says it was caused by whoever was working under the hood, gerber was the only one who worked on the car and they were under the hood. Yet they refuse to fix it. They fixed about $15k from the accident and I had to pay Cadillac about $4,500 to get their issue fixed cause dealerships charge obscene prices. Don't use them.

The on site personnel we dealt with were fine, although you could tell they were frustrated with their back office, but we had one mishap after the other dealing with Safelite operations. From scheduling snafus to lost orders to finally showing up with the wrong part. What made it worse was each and every time they had an excuse - first it was the insurance company not sending a work order, then they must've received the wrong VIN, lastly it was the vendor who sold them the glass that got it wrong. When my husband gave pushback on them not verifying the windshield was the correct one, Safelite boy insisted it was the correct part for the vehicle and there were only minor differences. Despite the fact the windshield they showed up with was a completely different shape! When my husband said he was losing confidence that Safelite knew what they were doing, Safelite boy suggested we go somewhere else. Best advice we ever received!
