What bothered me most wasn't the mistake itself, but the total lack of ownership. Rather than trying to fix the situation or make the customer feel taken care of, we were left to deal with the fallout. A little accountability would've gone a long way.

It has the vibe of an old barn converted into a tasting room. There is limited seating, both indoors and out, but plenty of shade and sun outside depending on where you want to sit. And since this was our first stop of the day, I am confident in saying so! The tasting fee and bottles are also very affordable. The Allobroges is a rather unique of Grenache, Syrah and Mouvedre. I liked it enough to buy some for the road. Contrary to what you may read, tastings are NOT by appointment only. We walked in and were served quite immediately. Walk-ins are welcome for groups smaller than 8. They do private events and weddings.
