I made a reservation for a window table in back for a 70th birthday dinner for 4 , upon arriving, we were told to sit anywhere we liked, i told the waitress we had reservations for a birthday party and she replied, sit anywhere you like , seated us , brought water, took orders , brought drinks , and didn't return until halfway thru our meal , disappeared, started waiting on large party table and never returned to see if we needed anything else or how the food was , fish and chips were greasy , buffalo burger was way over done and piled with way too much to even cut to eat, no return for more drinks or to offer any dessert, finally after waiting at least 40 minutes after we stopped eating, i went to bar to find out if she was going to wait on us or whatever, she was so intense on waiting on this large party that we were completely ignored, i asked about a birthday dessert and another waitress said oh yes a lava cake free of charge , so i ordered one and another beer for my husband, 20 minutes later i went back to the bar and asked her if she went home or whatever, and she replied oh i just got busy with this large table , acting like no big deal, then when we were ready to go i had to speak up loudly from our table to get her to come with a ticket , gave me a total , i asked for the actual ticket to see what she charged us for and low and behold the $12 lava cake dessert was on the ticket, and she said oh we gave you a discount, which was the tip amount they automatically charge you!! I told her about the dessert and she went to get a manager code to change the amount and never returned , she gave the ticket to the manager would brought it to us , i told him everything and he said oh i just started two days ago , trying to smoosh the situation , started talking to my 90 yr old mother like he knew her , not an enjoyable birthday dinner !
