No communication was made and in June I checked online and the order said it was on back order until late July. I finally got a hold of Jamil and he said he was away and apologized he never communicated. He told me he would look into the possibility of changing my order by choosing a fabric pull bar instead of the metal that was on back order. I never heard back, called the store to follow up and my order was no longer in the system. Apparently Jamil had changed the order and placed it and didn't tell me. Fine. Fast forward to today the installer comes and one of my blinds is the incorrect color. I tried to call the 1-800 number and the local store and was told the manager was away and my sales consultant wasn't in today. Now I have to find out when my new blind will be ordered and wait again for it to come in and be installed. Communication has been awful. I want a refund on that incorrect blind or some type of compensation. Do not recommend at this point....

When I arrived, the women said to me that 875$ was not the actual price. It was just labor. She still needed to charge me for material. (None of this was relayed to me on the phone). She then handed me a book of couch fabrics and told me to pick out what I like! She clearly has no idea what she is doing! When I told her I needed marine vinyl, she had to call her boss/owner . Eventually she handed me the book. The prices stated 27$ yard, but she told me she wasn't sure if that was the store price or my price. She said if this is our price then I need to double it on you. She was totally lost and had a terrible attitude. She was legit helpless! The final straw came when she told me she can't give me a price for anything . The owner wanted to look at the cushions himself! I had to leave the cushions for Atleast 3 days to get a price! It was a complete waste of my time. If the owner reads this, I hope he realizes that his worker is completely incompetent, rude, and let my money walk right out of his shop! I would never go back, and I urge you all to stay away from this place!

My experience working with James and Budget Blinds was really great. We had 3 tricky windows (a…read morevery, very large window; a sliding door; and a kitchen sink window with a small "eyelash" at the top) that I wasn't sure that we would be able to put Lutron smart blinds on but he was able to come up with a very elegant solution for all 3 that was also within our budget. He did a great job of walking us through all of our options, pros/cons of each, and provided us recommendations that felt tailored to our situation & budget (ie, I never felt like I was being upsold on anything). After having an in-home consultation to go over everything and take measurements we placed our order. The day of install, James and a colleague arrived on-time and installed the 9 blinds in less than an hour (seriously, they were so fast). They were very professional and respectful of our home (eg, cleaned up after themselves). There was a delivery issue with one of blinds (not Budget Blinds fault) and James sorted the issue that day and came by outside of business hours to finish the install for that last blind, which was greatly appreciated. Four months later and I am still in love with the Lutron smart blinds--one of the best upgrades we made to our home. I was the most hesitant about the shade for the kitchen sink window, as I was having trouble visualizing what it would look like, but that shade turned out absolutely beautiful.
