Chicken Delight Sandwich was fantastic!! It's loaded with onions & mushrooms!! Elvis Waffle was also outstanding !!! The loaded fries were worth the up charge. The omelette is supposed to be 4 eggs!!! They must be very small & you get one meat in all omelette's!!! Not impressive!! Jada L was friendly & efficient!!! GREAT JOB!!! Different metal art work displayed!!! Would Highly Recommend!!!

Lots of corn syrup and processed food here. The waffle was topped with canned high fructose corn syrup fruit awful. No real syrup offered for an up charge. My egg white omelette was good but very small for $13.59 and the cheese wasn't melted. I asked for hot water and it had a coffee residue. When we were seated the table still had food on it from the previous customer. I won't be back. I would have given 1 star if the menu didn't indicate that they actually use fresh eggs.

My boyfriend and I came back after 2.5 years and the food was amazing! We hadn't been here in a while because we honestly forgot this place existed (and because it is a little out of the way). The waffle was amazing; we got the Elvis which has peanut butter and bacon strips inside and is topped with bananas and honey. And we also got a breakfast platter with extra eggs and sausage! Services was nice! $34ish dollars for all of this

Nice breakfast stop, just wanted Waffles and a cup of coffee before hitting the interstate. Moden decor, friendly servers and easy to find. The Waffles were large and fluffy, decided to add scrambled eggs and it was a nice breakfast. Coffee was fine but had to keep asking for a refill. Clean dining areas and rest rooms. Got lucky and walked in and got seated immediately. Will definitely return the next time I'm in the Akron, Ohio area.

Wanted to get some breakfast on this particular morning but hubby didn't want to drive far so we ended up going to this place. We have been wanting to try this place every time we pass by it, but we were nvr hungry or in the mood lol but I'm glad we finally got to eat here. Food was delicious, service was great, and the place just seemed cozy. Also liked coming to a clean restaurant. Iykyk... lol we'll definitely be back! :)

I visited on a Thursday morning on October 1, 2020 during Covid19. I ate at Wally Waffle and ordered the Chicken (bone-in wings) and Waffle. I felt real safe. Only three people were allowed at the check-in area. There is plexiglass between booths that customers are being seated at. When I visited there were no customers seated across from other customers. All staff wore masks at all times. I witnessed tables being sanitized between customers. The wait staff collected payment at your table and brought change to you. The chicken wings and waffle was fabulous. The wings were crispy and the chicken was tender and juicy. The size of the wings were probably on the average size or a tiny bit below average. The meat fell off the bone and there wasn't much of any meat attached to the ends like you sometimes get. The wings can be served with Texas Pete hot sauce. The waffle was okay. It was light and airy. I put only one portion of syrup on my waffles and they soaked it up. It was slightly soaked which meant to me that the amount of batter to make the waffles wasn't substantial. I did feel full after eating the waffle and chicken wings but I don't think one waffle would have been enough. That is disappointing to me. I really like the Don Drumm wall art. There is a huge sun on one wall and a smaller squirrel on another wall. That tells me that Wally Waffle understand the community and is invested in the community. The staff were super friendly and helpful and very attentive to the needs of the customers. I was really impressed with their service. I would return to this Wally Waffle.

Everything was good including the service, bacon tasted a little strange and the inside of my waffle was undercooked. Overall besides that good!

Even though this location is always a bit slow on the pickup order, the ambiance, friendly staff, consistent quality, and excellent indoor air quality make it a clear and easy 4 star review. So convenient too! Just off Tallmadge Circle.

Very good food! The wait was 30 mins but after we got seated our food came out very quickly. We got "what in the waffle?", chocolate waffle, and we had to try the Wally fries. I asked my sister if she would get the Wally fries again she said "ABSOLUTELY!"

They had both breakfast and lunch offerings, as well as a specials menu. Two in our party ordered the BLT with added avocado from the lunch menu, one of us got the western omelette combo from the specials menu, and I ordered the spinach avocado quesadilla from the breakfast menu. Service was friendly but a little slow, although we were chatting so we didn't mind. The couple that ordered the BLTs were pleased with them and I enjoyed my egg, spinach, and avocado quesadilla. It was HUGE and the sriracha cream dipping sauce that came on the side was especially delicious. The only let down was the western omelette combo...it came with two weirdly tiny omelettes and a small scoop of potatoes and was $21. Meanwhile my giant quesadilla was only $13 - a deal! Our server said she was new and didn't know much about the omelette combo so I am wondering if it was not the right thing. That was a bummer but the rest of the food was on point so we just wouldn't get a combo like that again. All in all a though a pretty good experience overall. Thank you, Breakfast at Tiffani's!

It has been on my list for ages but it isn't close to my house and the wait is always long! But in March 2026, my bf and I braved the wait so I can finally check this place out! Overall, it is clear why Blue Door is always packed - the food, while overpriced, is delicious and made by a team of talented chef and bakers! I'll say this was a 4.5 star experience. We were quoted a wait for about 45 minutes but we were seated after 30. The case of baked goods were enticing me the entire time but I resisted! Our waiter, Steven, was funny, helpful, and had a great personality. The place, obviously, was packed, with little room in between tables. We saw quite a few patrons order the incredibly indulgent horchata French toast ($24) and I don't think I witnessed anyone finish it! To start, I got a coffee from local coffee roasters, Angel Falls, for $3.50 and my boyfriend treated himself to a fancy hot chai $6.50. It was pretty good local coffee! I wanted to try their famous croissants so I ordered the croque madame croissant sandwich with breakfast potatoes ($21). The croque madame was incredible! The breakfast potatoes could have benefited from an interesting seasoning. My boyfriend wanted everything on the menu but decided on getting the "special menu" loaded baked potato breakfast burger with salt+vinegar brined house chips (aka fries) for $24. The potato inside was a large potato latke. This heavenly creation kept him full for hours. In the end, our bill was pretty pricey for a brunch but we enjoyed every bite. I'm not sure if I will be able to come here again since we got lucky with our wait, but they keep changing their menu and something might entice me so much, I'll endure any wait!

The chicken and sauce part of the chicken and waffles were amazing the corn beef hash dish was great. The waffles lacked real flavor and tasted odd. The coffee was great. Service was awesome but slow (took us 40 minutes to get our food). The restaurant is really cute looking and the pastry's look amazing but we only had the croissant which was great. The food was pretty expensive. We spent 70 bucks as a party of two. They definitely had large portions which is nice for the price however after moving here from Columbus, we've just had better for less for brunch/breakfast so that's why I needed to knock off a star. Still a good place but now where that we'd go to regularly because of the wait times and the price not making it feasible.

Sooo good. Fries were crispy, hot, and plentiful on everyone's plate. The kids chicken strip meal was unbelievably crispy and juicy and flavorful. Two burgers were ordered and both were loved. And even at the late hour service was friendly and attentive. The only thing keeping that 5th star is the whole place and all the condiments etc on the table need wiped down and the floors swept and mopped. It's less than a 10 minute drive from downtown Akron but it's off the beaten path. All locals (except me) in here. When I went (10AM Friday) the place was almost full, and I was dining alone, so I sat at the counter, happily next to the kitchen. To look at the kitchen was like looking inside a bee hive, bustling with activity but barely a sound. I could just make out what was being calmly stated "2 Silver Dollar, Salmon, Country Fried, 2 Over Easy..." It was fun to watch, but what was important was the output. It took just over 6 minutes from the time I order until it was sitting in front of me, and everything was perfect! The waitresses were so efficient. I saw my order hit the window and in about 12 seconds it was delivered. They were so customer focused, they were (jokingly) fighting over refilling my tea. When I was done and paid for I waited outside for Uber to pick me up (3 min). I looked back on what I'd just experienced, and snapped a picture of the two parking lots of cars for Fred's Diner. I counted and there were 32 cars at Fred's. OK maybe 10 were staff so 22 cars for customers, let's say on average there were 2 customers per car (remember I walked here so no car for me). By my calculation, Fred's was feeding 44 people every 30 minutes or so. No wonder they're only open 4 days a week and only for breakfast - lunch. I calculate they might serve 3200 meals in those 4 days, and then take 3 days off to get ready for the next week. I love this place. Wish I lived here so I could come more often.
