I went in there and the white haired man was rude... ok so I said i want vinyl flooring installed in grey he shows me some flooring i say how much with install he says $10 a sq ft ?? Which is double home depot and triple the place down the street, before I left I said how much for only the flooring he says its $5 a sq ft and said that's the cheapest , double the big store with name brands, I understand prices are different, but it seems like he just didn't want my business cuz i can get tile installed for $10 a sq ft which is way harder to install, I said good luck. You get what you pay for, nothing more - nothing less. I went with them because they were cheaper and had the carpet in stock. They were on time and completed the install in one day. However, They left carpet strands in my driveway and forgot one step on the stairs. They did not explain that there will not be any moulding for the edges or some type of carpet transition. There was no follow up to see how I liked the job or if it was completed to my satisfaction. Got my carpet done last Thursday and looks great. Supposed to do my flooring done on Thursday as well but I was told that there are ordering my material it is now a week later and I am still waiting salesman lied to me and told me that they had everything to install on the same day it is now a week and I still do not have my on laminate flooring done!! Frustrated and annoying that the sales man lied just to make the deal I don't think that's right!! I researched YELP ratings for flooring companies in my area, and located this company in San B with no bad reviews and quoted the lowest price over the phone - by the owner (Mike). The install would be vinyl in kitchen/dining room area with new 4" baseboard plus the installers would move the appliances - perfect! Go to the store to set up the install; however, a different person, Jeff, quote's me adding a few hundred dollars! Of course, sticking to my guns, Jeff lowers it to the amount the Mike stated over the phone. I confirm same package deal and Jeff states "Yes, Yes". Deal made and date scheduled for install. Day before the install, Jeff comes to the house to obtain measurements and asses the area. This time he says we need to move all appliances out except the fridge as his guys can roll it - Fine! I mention the 4" baseboard and he states it will only be the parts UNDER the cabinets?! REALLY? Frustrated as my husband and I had been remodeling for 3 weeks and we just wanted our kitchen back - my husband stated "OK". And lastly before Jeff leaves he states to give his installers an additional $75 cash - WHAT?!!!! FINE!!! I just wanted this stupid vinyl installed. Next day - Installers show up and state, "Why is the fridge in the kitchen?", and inform me that I need to find a neighbor to move it out (husband at work). Spoke with Mike and he stated this installer does not move appliances, and if I could find someone to move the fridge. THAT IS IT! I CANCELLED JOB! Both the owner and sales person attempted to call me back to correct the problems per the vm they both left; however, enough is enough. What a roller coaster of an experience! I want to control my anger because I would think it's unfair to the owner of this shop. That being said, the communication between them and who they contract with to do the job is horrible. You get told a date and time then wait hours. Then when we call Jeff (our salesman) to ask he gives you the run around. Wish he was just honest. 6 days later our tile is finally getting finished. 8X17 not a big area at all. The tile so far looks good and I have no complaints on how the job is turning out so far. On a side note... Over measure the area if you measure it yourself. Other wise your only getting the exact amount of tiles. The people who we used before (they went out of business since we used them 10 yrs. ago) left us with s full extra box just in case! In July 2011, we purchased Mohawk carpet from Sav-On Carpet & Tile at their store in Murrieta. It was for our home we were renovating. The newly purchased carpet was installed as agreed and it looked absolutely beautiful. We were more than pleased with the entire process of choosing the perfect carpet, as well as having it professionally installed. That is, until three years later when a 5 - 6 inch discoloration developed from wall to wall in the living room carpet. From the looks of this discoloration, its straight line through the room, and since we hardly ever utilize the living room area we knew it was not something we had caused but rather had to be a problem with the carpet itself. We went back to the Murrieta store, reported the issue, and were told they would refer our issue to their main office in San Bernardino. Shortly thereafter we received a call from Mike Davari, who agreed to work with us on the problem and would try to seek a solution through Mohawk. We sent Mike samples of our carpet as well as pictures of the discolored carpet area. Mike understood our predicament and after a period of time was able to resolve the issue to our satisfaction. Even though our exact carpet color and style were no longer available through Mohawk, we were able to choose another carpet that is very similar to it. We realize that these issues don't get resolved overnight but Mike stayed with it and kept communicating with us so we knew what he was doing to try to get the issue resolved. First of all this review is for the store located in MURRIETTA! )I've heard nothing but good things about the one in San Bernardino) I should've gone to that location but murrietta was a little closer. I also should have given this review 2 years ago. Now I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed. I purchased my carpet in nov 2014 ( so technically I've had it 2 1/2 years) In July of 2015 ( yes 2015). I had 4 rooms carpeted. The carpet in 2 infrequently used rooms (guest bedrooms) began to buckle. The people from MURRIETTA came and stretched it but I was told if this were happen again they were not responsible because it was a "manufacturer issue " and I'd have to contact the manufacturer. They also accused me of moving furniture around and THAT caused the carpet to buckle!! Isn't moving furniture around a normal procedure ? But the kicker is I hadn't moved ANY furniture. First of all this should NOT have happened after the first 6 months of purchase and installation. Well it has happened (buckled) AGAIN in both of those rooms as well as my bedroom. Unbelievably My prior carpet held for 28 years.
