    Garlic butter seafood boil
    V K.

I dropped by this restaurant and picked up a menu in 2024. I met the owner and I was pleased with its presentation. It looked clean, cozy, and didn't reek of fish. I promised I would come back and try an item so today I did. It's a small place but about 75% of the tables were filled with customers. They all seemed to be really be enjoying their meals. I ordered the seafood boil to go with garlic butter, head off shrimp and crab legs. It was absolutely fantastic. I've been missing out on great tasting food. I will definitely be returning to try other options on the menu.

Amazing! Fast friendly service with awesome food! The owner takes pride in his work. He's quite a foodie himself. We chatted quite a while during our visit. Low crowd on a Sunday at lunch time. Owner chooses ingredients and prep with quality and intent to not over salt the foods. Too bad the public doesn't realize the quality of ingredients and choices made. Scallops are top notch! Never had them in a boil like this. I chose the house seasoning which I found to be perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of salt and spice. I chose seafood boil with shrimp (head off), scallops (humongous), and sausage, which comes with potatoes, corn, and a hard boiled egg. Ordered mine medium spice which I'd say compares to a Thai spice level of medium. My husband ordered a boil with shrimp (head off), crawfish, crab legs, potatoes, corn, and hard boiled egg, Cajun, hot spice level. He thoroughly enjoyed everything he had and polished everything off including some of my sausage. He said it was perfect flavor, not too salty, spice level was as expected. We'll be back again soon!

Came in by myself last Monday and had a great time! The cashier was the cook and the server as well. I was the only one dinning in but saw a few people picking up to go! I got seafood boil with lobster, snow crab cluster and head on shrimp with the house special sauce medium. Crabs weren't cooked perfect as not all the legs pulled out easily but they were so tasty! Lobster was a bit chewy, I'd never had it in a seafood boil before but I'd recommend more legs instead of the lobster. Shrimp was good! The sauce wasn't very spicy I'd go hotter next time overall great experience though and I love that they include corn and potatoes in the meal

Snow crab cluster and dungess crab cluster by the half pound.

I got the half pound snow, crab and Dungeness crab. I got extra hard boiled eggs. I got the house special sauce, which is a mix of all three sauces. The food was better than I could have expected. Staff are also pleasant and check in on you. It's like a hole in the wall hidden restaurant. Place was also very clean.

Made with fresh crab meat CRAB RANGOON best ever with there House sauce it's so delicious

Amazing service thank you Sue as well as great food thanks Kenny. From the time we walked in to departure Sue gave such great hospitality making sure we ordered the best on the menu although everything I can imagine is tasty and savory you won't be disappointed at all in your food or services

This place is amazing!!! I've had many crab boils but this one is just the best! I took my girlfriend on a date here the place was very clean and had amazing service the wait was very fast and the owner made the experience personal and checked on us alot. I would highly recommend this to anyone. The seafood was very fresh and well seasoned. There was some Asian influence that made this crab boil very original with a flavor I can't explain except perfect sweet, spicy, and not too salty. There are also really cool backdrops on the wall for pictures with friends or your date.

Not very busy when I came. I simply wanted to try the crab bites just to get a quick snack. It's not a very large restaurant so I'm sure it fills up quickly during lunch or dinner time. I thought the food I ate was quite delicious, but I really want to return and explore more of the menu. The crab meat was very tender and the sweet sauce that came with my order perfectly complemented them. The food here is quite $$$, but that's normal for most places that primarily serve seafood. Great family owned business

Amazing service & food. Owner is very kind! Recommend the New Orleans platter, with the house sauce and in spice level medium, chefs kiss!

    Plain unseasoned food.

I've tried the Dirty Rice (rice with pork, brisket, kielbasa, and chicken), Mac & Cheese, and the Brisket. I highly recommend the Brisket and Mac & Cheese. Banging, yelling, and an open doorway into the kitchen. Off-putting, especially with better seating clearly open. The food keeps the rating up. I did not expect a wings place, but the smoked wings were my favorite, right amount of crispy with good smoke. The sauce list is long and I couldn't pick a favorite. The ranch tasted house-made and it was amazing. The chikin soho was the other standout. Honey ginger glaze, chili dijon slaw, and pickles that all work together. Misses: the brisket nachos needed fresh guac and actual brisket, since there was barely any. The 6 cheese mac was fine but not worth ordering again. Prices were right for what it is, a bistro concept. It's in Wayne, which surprised me since I didn't know spots like this existed out here. Wide enough menu that I'll be back. Next time I'm speaking up about the seating.

The grits in particular were excellent! My mom liked her potatoes but she did say she was a little jealous of the grits and took a few forkfuls from me. The benedict was also very good, served on a biscuit rather than the traditional english muffin, which I liked very much. Mine was a little light on the hollandaise so I would ask for a bit more of that next time. I also had an iced frozen latte which was quite good! Like many folks right now we're avoiding raw mixed greens so we both skipped those with our meals but even without it was still plenty of food. We also ordered beignets, a mix of powdered sugar and cinnamon sugar, with chocolate and foster's sauce (caramel) on the side. To me the beignets read more like a popover than a beignet but they were still good. Loved that they came warm and the foster's sauce was really nice! Our server was awesome and checked in on us regularly. Food came quickly, too. We did have to wait about 30 minutes for a table but it wasn't too bad and they'll take your number so you don't have to stay too close if you'd prefer to wait in your car (not much else to do around there, unless you're feeling like browsing Office Max next door).
