I brought it to the Tire Kingdom on Clark in Sarasota and had two new tires installed and an alignment. The tech said I was out of toe adjustment. When I got the car out the camber on the rear passenger side was so bad the tire was rubbing the filler neck! It chewed up the inside of the tire and wore down the inner lip of the wheel. I replaced anything I hadn't replaced last year (springs, struts, shocks, sway bars, ball joints) with ALL new suspension components (Front and rear upper and lower control arms, rear toe arms, sway bar end links) and brought it back in for an alignment. I was told my car was ready. I came in, I paid and started to walk out. I turned around and asked for the alignment sheet. This is what I was given. It's abysmal and if I'd just walked out without asking for the sheet I'd have not known. Some backstory, the shop on Clark USED TO BE fantastic. The alignment tech was a true professional. The lady at the front desk went through everything if any issues were found. Now, the people in front are accommodating when it comes to scheduling, but apparently aren't looking at the work getting sent out. The new tech has left 3 straight alignments on my car a mess. I'm out several hundred dollars in tires and alignments and have to find another place to fix this cluster****.

It got so bad that my vehicle started smoking heavily and left me stranded on the side of the road. What makes this situation even worse is that I had a newborn baby with me when this happened. Being stuck on the roadside with a smoking vehicle and a newborn child was terrifying and completely unacceptable. My family's safety was put at risk because of what appears to have been poor service performed at this location. After I returned for help, I was told someone would contact me about the issue. No one ever called. No one followed up. No one checked to see if I was okay or if my vehicle was safe to drive. The lack of concern and customer service has been unbelievable. The situation became so serious that when I brought the vehicle near another Take 5 location, employees were hesitant to even touch it because of how badly the vehicle was overheating and smoking. That alone should tell you how serious this issue is. Based on my experience, I do not feel the technicians at this location are properly trained or knowledgeable enough to be working on customers' vehicles. A routine oil change should never result in a vehicle overheating, smoking, and leaving a customer stranded. Please stay away from this location. My experience has been stressful, dangerous, and frustrating from start to finish. Instead of taking responsibility and helping resolve the problem, they ignored the situation and left me dealing with the consequences on my own. I expect Take 5 to investigate this matter, contact me immediately, and take responsibility for the damages and hardship this situation has caused. I need to check my RAM 2500. It showed engine lights and codes and it ran rough and loud. Towed it…read moreover with AAA in no time. They ran a diagnostic. 179 $. A little spendy and it is not credited towards the bill, which I was not so happy about. But, they found what the problem was the same day and called before digging deeper into the engine. It was a bigger problem than expected and none of the 3 technician I spoke with before mentioned that the noise could come from there. I gave the ok to fix it. What is not great is that of that over 700 $ was labor! 200 $ or so in parts and then I was charged 25 $ for shop supplies ( that I found ridiculous). But, I guess that is what is done today. The problem was fixed and a smaller issue taken care off by the GM who was not only friendly but seemed more than experienced. 75 $ AAA discount was applied as posted on AAA website. My truck is running and I am ready for a longer road trip and feel confident it will be running well. Very friendly service, clean shop all the way. Labor costs are high. I think they are not justifiable. But compared to dealerships like Firkins or Gettel, shops like Begley are a bargain ( compared to those). Thing is, there is nothing you can do about that. I will take my business to this shop from here on because the way the staff took care of my things and the GM Jason did excellent customer service. With a 3 year labor warranty I feel pretty good about riding my car through the states. Oh, and I certainly will bring my oil change to them :).
