What could have been a long process took a total of 3 days, partially because of the wait of a part and partially due to being closed on Sundays. We use them for everything from state…read moreinspections to checking out weird noises to the time one of us got carjacked but eventually got the vehicle back (true story). They're not perfect. When my adult daughter takes her car in, they still call her dad with updates instead of her, but we can get that fixed. We appreciate the ability to drop a car off and leave the keys in the safe drop box. They're also realistic about when they will be able to work on a car, and what kinds of work they do. I still prefer my husband to handle all things car-related (Empowered AND old school?) But I know that when I need to, I can talk to the JC folks and they'll treat me fairly. I don't need to worry about being discriminated against because I'm a woman or ignorant about cars (even though I am both.) I read the review by Suzy G a few months ago. I'm was shocked that JC totally screwed up and caused such distress and expense for her. Yet, I respect that they owned up to their mistake publicly. That speaks volumes. How many companies are willing to take ownership of their problems, not just praise?
